I’ve only ever been here during lunch, but it has been great each time. It’s always busy, but to me that means they must be doing something right. Service is polite and pretty quick for how busy they can be. They have a huge lunch menu that is decently priced, which can be hard to find in Downtown Indy.

Got take out for lunch. So good! 6″ house pie, side and drink priced at $ 9.50! Got the fun guy pie, which was delicious. But the highlight was the beet salad! That balsamic dressing is to die for. Thanks for the delicious lunch!

Friendly service and a good variety of pizzas. If you come during happy hour, they have some of the best prices in town on basically the whole menu. I like the Monterrey Mex. TVs for watching games are nice. Good selection of beer.

I love Rockstone! The Rockstone salad with creamy Italian dressing is a great blend of different tastes and textures. We sometimes get pizza(usually the Woodfire Deluxious) and sometimes get pasta(usually Meatball Mess). You can’t go wrong with either. Parking is easy. Service is usually good. Beer specials are decent. Try it out if you’re looking for consistently good salad and pizza and/or pasta!

On the rare occasion I go to lunch during work, I try to go somewhere I can get something I know I will like. In this case, a coworker mentioned this place for a lunch outing. Since it was recommended by a trusted source, I figured that it wouldn’t hurt to try something new. We walked here from our office that is a couple blocks away, and found that this is right next to an office fav — Sahm’s Tavern. When we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and asked if we were dining in or ordering take-out. When we said that we were dining in, they said that we could sit anywhere. Inside, there’s a mix of table and booth seating, and we opted for the black, wooden booth that fits about 6 people comfortably. The place is small, so if you want to sit and eat, you will probably want to arrive during an off-time to avoid the lunch rush. We tried the Archie B pizza and the nachos. Both were awesome! The nachos looked like someone has meticulously put all the ingredients on each chip so that you didn’t have to put any effort into getting the perfect bite. Even if you don’t like some of the toppings(like me), you should still try it. I’m not a fan of pico de gallo, but I still thought it was delicious! The pizza was also really great if you’re a fan of gorgonzola cheese. Freshly baked and arrive at our table as soon as it came out of the oven. As for the draft options, they have a great selection from $ 4 – 5 for a pint. I enjoyed some Fruitcake, a German Dunkleweiss beer with some holiday spice and fruit flavors to compliment the holiday season. Great little spot near the west side of downtown if you want a slice and a brew!

Im not really a fan of reviewing pizza joints… its kind of tricky because everyone loves their pizza differently. BUT, if youre a mushroom lover, I’d recommend the Fun Guy Pie. Its delicious, and its the pie I get every time I dine here!(and they deliver, woohoo!) Personally, I am not a fan of their breadsticks. I was also a bit confused because their breadsticks differ from their Allisonville location(which I love)…not sure why. Or perhaps it was just a fluke. Regardless, a definite upgrade from that dominoes, papa johns, little caesars garbage! Check this place out!

A great option downtown for pizza. I had the wood-fired Deluxious pizza and it was delicious! I like having the option of a pizza made in the fire oven. Surprisingly, what was equally as impressive were the starter salads. Eating at a pizza joint, I assumed the pizzas would be decent, but the great salads are a definite bonus! The ingredients were fresh and high quality. The staff were friendly and the environment was comfortable. The restaurant was very clean and the bar area was very nice. There are several large T.V.s throughout the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

I really like the fresh taste of the food at Rockstone. I honestly prefer the simpler pizzas such as the Margherita. I really like their salads! They are innovative with their ingredients. I really like Rockstone Downtown for a lunch spot because: 1. I can eat there or call in an order 2 They have a parking lot, so I can get in and get out 3. They have some nice lunch combos 4. They have several options for a pizza place, such as pastas, salads, and soups. Their prices are average and reasonable for the value, and the staff is friendly.

We like this place. I have found that the less saucy pizzas/heavier toppings make the crust a bit soggy. I have tried almost all of the different pizzas. My favorite is probably the potato and bacon pizza. Sounds weird, but it is really good. The buffalo chicken pizza has been soggy both times I tried it. I also had to send back one of the vegetarian pizzas. It was just inedibly mushy. They handled it as you would hope. Offered me something else and also gave me a $ 10 gift card for next time. The pasta salad side is essentially a meal. Really good. The side salad and the shrimp soup are also very good. We have tried the nachos — the chorizo is kind of dry. Might have been able to save it with some salsa or sour cream, but they were not offered. The buffalo chicken dip is probably my favorite. Good beers on tap too! We eat here about once a week, BUT we work in the building so connivence is the primary reason we eat here so often. Private parking lot and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is limited. Service has always been solid. They also deliver now!

Decided to try Rockstone during Devour Downtown. I love their neighbor, Sahm’s, and the location is great. They have patio seating! Hooray. We opted to eat inside though. No one greeted us, and there were no signs so were we to just seat ourselves? Who knows! After lurking in the doorway a while, someone sitting at a table told us to seat ourselves. Ok?! The thing I love about Devour menu is that you get to try a little bit of everything. That gives me a clear picture of the over all food quality etc. The breadsticks were great. Loved the chorizo beer cheese dip. The Cesar salad was beyond fantastic. It was fresh, crisp, and dressed perfectly. The dressing was outstanding. Now our entrees were a let down. We ordered a veggie pizza. It was suppose to have broccoli, but had very little of it. Very heavy on the red and green peppers though. We were offered Fire grilled or traditional pizza but she didn’t explain the traditional style so we went with wood fire because that’s pretty self explanatory. The sauce on it was watery and almost missing in action. The watery-ness caused our crust to be soggy. A miss for us. Our other entrée was 4 cheese Al forno pasta. It lacked flavor. It needed salt, maybe garlic, definitely pepper. We decided to ask for lemon to brighten it up. Our service was lacking. Refills? Forget it. She didn’t ask us 1 time if we liked our food. We had to flag her down to get the lemon and she forgot to bring it, and finally came back after 5 minutes or so, WITHOUT the lemon! Sigh. Dirty plates had piled up on our table. Not a good first impression. The Dessert was sad. The strawberries didn’t seem fresh, the ricotta could have been perked up with lemon rind or orange rind, the Nutella was hardly noticeable. I did notice they have a happy hour 2 times a day offering $ 2.50 items. Breadsticks were on that. Well worth returning for the beer selection and breadsticks. The rest! Eh. Idk.

New favorite pizza place in Indy!!! Absolutely delicious. We ordered pizza for pickup and it was finished on time and incredibly tasty. The best pizza, especially for gluten free, in Indy. It has the perfect ratio of toppings. And you can tell they’re fresh. Highly recommend. We got«fun guy pie», which was my personal favorite, and«Classico», which was also amazing. Will most definitely be back.

Count me in as a fan of Rockstone’s happy hour. Not sure I would ever eat here at full price but the Happy Hour is perfect. $ 2.50 mini pizzas? $ 2.50 personal veggie nachos? Count me. My coworkers and I like Rockstone for happy hour because its a little off the beaten path of downtown. Parking is easy in the lot and its never been crowded enough to the point where we couldn’t get a seat after work. I will say that I didn’t necessarily think the drink specials were that great — maybe I hit it on a bad night(Monday). It is kind of a bummer that they only have beer and wine. As far as food goes, I got the mini Fresca pizza which has all of my favorite foods on one pizza — pesto, spinach, goat cheese and I can definitely recommend it. Definitely will be back for more after work eating and drinking sooner rather than later.

Food and beer options are over the top. IMHO this is exactly what the neighborhood needed. I love the cool little bar. They also have a nice late night happy hour. Bring your friends or make some new one’s. The bartender, Madison is fun and upbeat, so no need to fret if you’re flying solo. I had a few top notch local brews and a savory meat pizza. Everything I’ve tried so far has been upper echelon. Favorite brew so far is Prairie Bomb.

I’m confused by the negative reviews. Really confused. We just left dinner. We arrived around 6:30 and were able to be seated right away. Our kids were with us. We ordered breadsticks/fried goodness which were amazing. My husband and I shared the roast pork salad. The salad was delicious and the dressing was really tasty. We then shared pizza and it was perfect. Warm, chewy crust, fresh ingredients and the perfect amount of sauce to cheese ratio. We also enjoyed Three Floyds beer on tap which you don’t find many places. Keep it up guys. Don’t get discouraged by negativity. You’ve only been open a month. The five stars will surpass the bad.

I ordered a lunch special: Pizza and Greek Salad. The pizza was not cooked long enough and was sloppy soggy. The pizza sauce was sour with a lot of vinegar added to it. The Greek Salad was made with the wrong type of olives. Instead of whole black greek olives, they used sliced green olives, which tasted bad. The Mac and Cheese looked like it was Macaroni Noodles with a slice of kraft cheese microwaved on top. The seating is very cramped as well. They are a new restaurant. I will give them another chance to resolve the ingredient quality issues and write an update thereafter.

Stumbled across the downtown Indy Rockstone knowing nothing about it. I wasn’t in the mood for pizza at lunch, so was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty extensive menu. There’s a kids menu too. Between our group we had pizzas, sandwich and pasta dishes. Everything was good. Service was friendly and attentive. Bonus is the free parking lot right in front. I would try it again.
