Who wouldn’t want an In-N-Out Burger in their neighborhood? As desert dwellers we only had 2 Options, drive out to Indio or Thousand Palms. So, we tended to stop along the highway on road trips to get our fix. When we were out of the country the first thing we did on American soil was stuff our face at In N Out. Funny how they are strategically located near airports. We love to take guests from abroad to In N Out. Most recently our French friend loved the 4 by 4 so much he was sending pictures of it to all his friends back home. Secret menus make this place my favorite fast food. Protein style rules. Love the long drive thru line that moves surprising fast. I don’t eat the fries but, when I did, animal style was the only way. You have to eat those fries fast or they just don’t taste as good when they get cold. Lots of parking with an outside covered patio. As always their staff is friendly, efficient, and the food is always constant just the way you ordered it.

Absolutely couldn’t rate the service in this Indio, CA hangout any better. Waited over half an hour for our two No 2. meals but they never came. We finally gave up waiting and asked for our money back. The staff were less than friendly when asked why our order was taking so long in a restaurant that had no lineups and was only half occupied. I asked to speak to the Manager and was told they weren’t available. They just kept saying your order’s coming, but it never came. It appears that car customers rate higher than those who come into the restaurant to have a quick bite as there was a steady stream of cars getting their orders. Lousy service at this Indio location and you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll let all my friends and acquaintances know not to go there.

I haven’t had an In-N-Out Burger in a couple of weeks and decided to end the hiatus by having a 3×3 protein style burger on the opening day. I got there a quarter after 10am and the place was already brimming with customers at the drive-thru. The parking was ample and there was virtually no line inside. The place itself was pretty occupied with a couple journalists inside interviewing snowbirds while recording. The cashier was friendly and took my order promptly. I did notice a couple of familiar faces from both In-N-Out in Indio and Thousand Palms working there. The layout of this restaurant mimics other In-N-Out locations in the Inland Empire such as the one in Cabazon. All the equipment and fixtures looked brand new. I got my order pretty quickly in less than 10 minutes which is usual at other locations. I found an empty table and grabbed it immediately. Seconds later, someone came and wiped the table clean. Once I got my order and put it on the table, one of the workers approached me and asked if I needed any condiments or napkins. Great customer service! The burger tasted awesome. The ingredients were fresh and the meat was cooked exactly the way In-N-Out burgers are supposed to taste! French fries were also on point. Once I was about to leave, I had another worker approach and asked if I needed a to-go bag for my fries. I hope this place continues to provide excellent customer service.

This IS what a hamburger’s all about! The drive-thru here is always really long(like 15 cars long) but I usually just go inside and at peak times my order usually takes less than 10 minutes. The staff here is very friendly and always working, cleaning, or restocking, all with a smile. I hope someday they decide to add bacon to the menu.

This place has always had the best burgers. One negative would be that the patty’s seam to have got smaller. they look so tiny.

I’ve been told that in n out was one of the better fast food places and how it is «so fresh»!! I wouldn’t call food poisoning fresh. Thank you for that in n out. It was awful and didn’t even taste good. Don’t waste your money, go get a real burger at a restaurant! And the fries are by far the worst fries I’ve ever had in my life.

Long lines I will never understand however I always seem to join them! Menu hasn’t changed since I was born, yet my kids love the cheeseburgers more than Five Guys, Farmer Boys, and McDonalds.

This is a place I wish I could rate higher, but I just can’t, not that 3 stars is shabby for a fast food burger joint. The comparisons to things like Five Guys, Shake Shack, are just inescapable, forget any other joints of the long time ilk which I haven’t stepped in since I was probably 14 years old. First off excellent service. The chain excels on this highly at least in this location I visited, particularly with the demand. This place is extremely popular but things move in good fashion. Couldn’t believe the drive thru lineup it was MASSIVE. I love the simplicity of the menu, it’s real basic which is all that’s needed. Also it’s incredibly good value, with a simple one patty cheeseburger being about 4 dollars a double maybe 5. unbeknownst to me now though… there is a «not so secret menu» which I was unaware of, and has me very intrigued(check the website). I notice right away something different. I am watching the process of how they prepare the buns. They are wonderfully toasted, crackly and supportive. Better than Five Guys, and honestly the highlight of the burger. The toppings though unlike Five Guys though are simpler and have far less choices. There are 2 big strikes though for me, one is the sauce which I can already guess is based on a similar Thousand Island like Big Mac dressing. I loathe this with a passion and had it held, which they had no problem doing, and didn’t screw up the order on. A dry burger it was, which I am not a fan of, but even with out any sort dressing this was still very good, particularly their American cheese that is gooey as all get out on it. I just couldn’t bother to ask if they had mayo… oh I know what you are saying… but sorry that’s my shtick so deal with it.(do they even have it on request?). The meat patty is alright, and has a good texture and area for the toppings. The second big strike though is the fries. They taste like hardly anything, they were just lousy I mean shockingly unremarkable even for that kind of fry, they had hardly any taste it all, very disappointing and can’t match Five Guys fries. Still it’s a solid burger, a great product, and it’s a real good value. Stick to the burgers though and skip the spuds is what I say. 4 stars for the burger, 2 for the spuds, and you find yourself at 3.

We never go in to order, always do the drive through. Hoping the new La Quinta location alleviates some of the drive through congestion at this location. New Year, new diet… but for those infrequent visits it’d be nice to actually get«in and out» within 10 minutes rather than the 20 or more it can sometimes take.

Every Time three times counting. I come I get the worst service, sarcastic and rude with shitty food, cold buns it’s just ridiculous. I should have to microwave my burger after ordering it. Thank goodness there’s another location I’ll drive farther so I don’t have to deal with the crappy food and service

This is a great In and Out, The Snyders would be proud. It looks like they work just the way Harry Snyder would have trained his employees back at the start of In and Out. What team work, I wonder if he had invisoned employing so many people, it’s mind boggling. Any way I like my double double protein style, they must pick out the best lettuce for that type of burger cause it’s always good. I tryed to take a picture but I enjoyed it to fast, maybe next time.

In-n-Out Burger has been a staple in my family since the early ‘80s. There are very few places I’ve been that have matched the quality and taste of In-n-Out’s burgers, none of those matches have matched the price or speed. In-n-Out has highly trained, motivated, and polite employees that take care of the customer. If you’ve been looking for a high quality fast-food burger, fries,(animal style fries are the best), or shake for a great price then look no further. They have consistently sat at the top of my burger experience for the past 35 years.

I took a chance on trying«animal style» and it was so delicious. Everything that they packed in made my mouth so happy. it was so thick I could hardly bite it, but I decided to put being a lady aside and just dig in. Big. Tasty. Messy and no extra charge for the extras. Incredible! I’m so glad that I moved to California because I can enjoy In N Out whenever I want. Yum. Five stars because this location had yellow peppers near the ketchup to add more spice to the meal if needed.

11:30 on a Friday night. Cars wrapped around the building, we were hesitant, but less than 15 minutes later we had two double doubles with grilled onion and fries, lap mat, and happy faces. As far as fast food goes, In-n-out gets it.
