Gabriel was our server. Ask for him. Very attentive. Ambiance was open and quiet. No smoke smell at all. If weather permits, sit outside. Cocktails were spot on and only $ 9. Guacamole appetizer was well made. Filet was lacking in flavor, as well as the New York strip. Sautéed spinach was very good. Steak fajitas were tough and flavorless. Yummy desserts. Not bad for a hotel restaurant.

So disappointed! Used to come here quite often about 3 years ago. Came tonight with my family and we were very let down. The menu had changed and my favorite dish(fettuccini Alfredo) had been removed. The pastas available that we ordered had no flavor. My filet was tender, but the port wine sauce was so sweet and it made the steak taste like candy. Service was okay. The appetizers and salads were very good, but we probably won’t be returning. Super bummed.

We returned to the Pom for yet another dinner with friends. A couple of us went for our favorite Asian Salmon with stir fry veggies. It was a generous piece of salmon grilled to perfection, moist but not mushy. The Prime Rib was a feast for the eyes and the tummy. Will we come back again? You betcha! We wish they would bring back their tomato soup, which was the best tomato soup we EVER had.

Great service, surprising beer choices, cool atmosphere, but when the day is hot, everything comes with a side of flies.

We had breakfast. It was really good. Great, friendly service. We had the Almond French Toast(cinnamon swirl brioche, almond crust, banana foster flambé, powdered sugar, maple syrup) … it didn’t need the maple syrup… it was perfect without it. We also had the corned beef hash with eggs. It was also tasty. The energy of the room was calm and relaxing. Maybe because there weren’t any loud kids, just adults. It was very pleasant. We were staying at the hotel. We’ll be staying elsewhere next time we are in Indian Wells… but I’m glad we had such a nice experience at POM.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and dinner. It’s a nice spot and break from a loud casino. For lunch time the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. They often have a pianist playing which is a nice touch. For dinner, it’s a little busier and fast paced. I’ve had the Spinach salad, the Wedge with Filet Mignon, Moroccan salad and some sandwich and soup offerings. The spinach and wedge salads were good. The filet mignon that came with the wedge was cooked perfectly and tender. Unfortunately the Moroccan salad missed the mark for me. It didn’t seem to include all of the toppings that were listed in the menu. Otherwise, the food is tasty. They get a plus for the slim bread sticks they put on the table. My favorite is the spinach salad as it’s huge, fresh and flavorful. Oh, I’ve also had their lunch portion of the Waldorf Chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Just the right about, plus it came with a choice of soup(which the lunch special includes.) Service is also hit and miss. On some occasions the waitstaff was attentive and kept glasses full, etc. On others they have been absent most of the time even when the place is not busy. I have noticed that staff keeps an eye on tables from the distance. Like I said, hit or miss. Overall I will continue to go back but probably only for lunch because the atmosphere is more relaxing, service is more attentive and portions are just right for pricing.

I don’t know why we don’t come here more often. The service is excellent. The food is pretty good. The crowd is so nice and friendly. It’s always best and clean. We leave with a big smile. I won’t take so long in visiting next time.

visited fantasy springs with a gf for a kpop concert. LOL of all places, right? either way, made the long ass drive to fantasy springs, which is literally out in the middle of NO where. concert was super fun, and after all the alcoholic beverages we had consumed, we decided to fill our bellies before making the long drive back. POM looked nice enough so we made our way downstairs and got seated quickly. most of the patrons were from the concert. i know this, because they were ALL korean. ordered the fried chicken. because how can you go wrong right? WRONG. the nastiest fried chicken ever. the breading was weird. it came right off the chicken and underneath it was the skin of the chicken that was not fried at all. it was literally breading on top, and then nasty slimy chicken underneath. it came with 3 pieces, with fries and cole slow. i took one bite of the chicken, ate some of the fries, and packed the rest to go. figured i may spruce it up and eat it later, but it ended up going in the trash. gf ordered pasta, which she also only took a few bites of and packed to go. will NOT go back. maybe the pizza place upstairs is better.

We began with the calamari and the crabmeat and avocado cocktail. The calamari was crisp. and chewy and plenty to share. My cocktail(see photo) was refreshing and delicious. The crabmeat was held together with an innocuous binder and the avocado was ripe and silky. Will DEFINITELY order that again! The bread basket comes with rolls and breadsticks which are very yummy and easy to fill up on. For main courses, hubby got fettucine alfredo with shrimp and I got the chicken with artichoke pomodoro. WARNING: they put garlic in their Alfredo sauce(which, if you know the story behind the sauce), ought not to be there. Unfortunately, it happens all too frequently. My penne pasta was cooked slightly past al dente, but was by no means mushy. The sauce was chunky with mushrooms, tomatoes, sweet red pepper strips as well as the chicken and artichokes. Very fresh and flavorful and sized to share. For dessert, we shared the chocolate mousse cake. Do yourself a favor, be sure to request it WITHOUT the coulis garnish! IMHO, the strawberry flavor detracts from the whole chocolate experience. Aside from that, the cake was moist and the mousse was fluffy and it was very chocolaty withojt being too much. Overall… an enjoyable meal.

Just like the rest of the staff at Fantasy Springs hotel, the wait staff at POM is superb. Jerry was right there when we needed him and came by often to check on us. He and POM get 5 stars! Although we could have ordered off the menu which looked wonderful, it was BBQ night so we opted for that. It’s served family style with huge portions. It was YUM! Ribs, chicken, brisket, cornbread, biscuits with apple butter, mac & cheese, bacon potato salad, coleslaw and amazing chopped salad. So much food, we were stuffed but since the meal came with apple crumb pie ala mode, we managed to find some more room. Looking forward to eating there again on our next trip to Palm Springs and hope to try the other restaurants the hotel has to offer.

Came here for dinner, with the family. I ordered the rib eye steak, medium and what I got looked like a piece of prime rib thrown on the grill and over cooked. Sent it back and got a new steak that was medium rare but burnt on the outside. Server said he would bring out a new one, I politely declined. I was full by then from trying the hubby’s shrimp. Overall the food is ok, service is great, will come back but next time I’m trying something other than steak. If you’re in the mood for steak I recommend The Bistro. Located in the same casino. It’s a bit pricier but worth it.

The bar tender was so awesome, totally on it with the water refills and our needs. The food was beautiful, a piece of art, and very yummy! I will be back here!

Food was worth waiting for until the restaurant opened! I arrived 20 minutes prior to the restaurant reopen for dinner so I waited until we condo re enter and it was worth every minute! the waitress Mariah was very prompt! She knew we were famished and needed food in our systems so she delivered food and service as fast she could! Mariah suggested the Bang Bang Shrimp which was delectable! Sesame seeds and sauté in a tangy sauce was very tasty! Thank you for that recommendation alongside the calamari and potato cheese soup. All these appetizers were enough to keep my stomach content and not to mention delicious too! It was a fast dining experience because, it was off to the Golden Boy promotions boxing matches but still a great eatery.

POM is on the second floor of a very smoky casino, but the bad air does not reach it, and it is clean with comfortable seating and tables placed sufficiently far apart. The fast, competent service and a menu of favorites from fried chicken to crab cakes to fish tacos might get your hopes up. But don’t get them too high. Some of the food was well prepared, especially the opah(fish) in the seafood tempura, but this dish was only okay because beside one piece of fish you get two small shrimp and two small scallops and soggy sweet potato fries. Nothing distinguished itself among the rest of our choices; for example, the chicken salad was full of mayo. If I were in the casino, which I won’t be because of the excessive smoke, I might go here to eat. Otherwise, nope.

I came here twice during my business trip to the high desert. One thing is I like the fact that they were open late for dinner. I came back to my hotel and passed out only to wake up way past dinner. I got the southern fried chicken dish, an odd menu item considering it’s supposed to be a cloth lined table restaurant. But whatever, I like me some fried chicken! It was a tad bit disappointing, I could get so much better at the local popeye’s. And how can you argue against popeye’s but that’s a different delicious story! It was not crispy and mouth watering. It didn’t really do justice to the title«Southern» fried chicken and I was in the Army and I traveled the world for good fried chicken. Well, fried chicken wasn’t the only reason I joined the Army. The next day I got the two eggs breakfast, it was not filling, eggs were a bit under cooked. There were other restaurants at the hotel, I definitely wish I could have tried some of those instead.

First off, service is horrible! I went here twice; once for dinner alone and once for lunch with someone, and both times, I had to hound someone down to take my order, even though they were perfectly staffed and not busy. Had the shrimp salad the first night and it was too pretty to eat! The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and veggies were fresh! And their bread bowl contains thin bread sticks, which complement the salad for sure! For lunch, I tried the fish tacos– not bad! Wish it came with pico de gallo though, and not a cucumber/tomato slaw of some sort. And the corn tortilla could use some work. They also provide food for all room service at the fantasy springs hotel. Oatmeal so perfectly prepared with water, not milk. Wish they washed their berries throughly though…

Good stuff here. I had the: Pork Shank«Osso Buco» with horseradish whipped potatoes, frizzled beets, pineapple-soy demi glacé($ 18.5) Service was stupid fast(less than 7 minutes), and my dish was fork off, melt in your mouth heaven. The presentation was superb, with a few fried onion straws scattered across a mountain of whipped potatoes fused to the side of the pork. The horseradish in the potatoes was very overpowering, and the sweetness of the of the demi glacé didn’t quite get me there in a harmonization sense. That being said, it was still an extremely flavorful dish, and I would definitely order it again. A 4 star dish, and an overall 4 star experience.

Check in and get the special $ 5.95 lunch menu so 4 stars because of that. 6 great selections. Like grilled meatloaf sandwich or the angus beef burger with fries and the soup of the day!!! Great awesome deal. I did make a few suggestions to the manager. The meatloaf sandwich was dry and a bit bland. It was missing maybe a side dipping sauce. Tomato base. Other than that, it was good. Would go again to this place if they constantly have that deal whenever I check in. Definitely beats the crappy pizza place across the walkway. Waiter was awesome. Very attentive, friendly and understanding. Customer service at its best.
