Just Average at best. For being the premier Resturant inside Fantasy Springs Casino One would assume it would be much better. The Restaurants floor plan is laid out In a very strange way. Waitress could not stop apologizing during the entire dinner. Room temperature Yellow ice berg wedge. Too much dressing, pork-belly pieces«nice touch» chopped egg, blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles, pickled red onion, tomatoes doesn’t work too busy I’m missing some additional ingredients but it just doesn’t work here. Nothing intimate tables all sit at weird angles chairs are very hard not sure why. Ordered the bone in rib-eye. Medium rare. Was cooked perfect taste was bland, flat too much like a store bought steak now I know why they push there sauces so much. I always feel steak should stand on its own as far as flavor. If it’s a good cut it will taste good. Came with a baked potato and asparagus which where just ok. My wife’s crab cakes had a burned black crust majority of the cake was Panko but she picked at it anyway it was late and we where hungry. My daughter did enjoy the sushi special. I lost interest in my meal and walked outside to the balcony to listen to the band.

First — Beth, our server was outstanding. All around service was way above par. Honestly she was awesome, friendly, playful with our jokes, and attentive. So was the service staff in her area. They really took great care of us. The appetizers were awesome. My partner had the lobster bisque and I had the duck confit hush puppies. The hush puppies were more like falafels but does it matter? :) The flavors were all over the place and I love that. From a little heat to sweet to savory. The Dirty Martini’s were perfect and the blue cheese olives were unbelievably great! YUM. You have to have the blue cheese olives. 3 stars for… The cigarette smell is horrible. For me this would give them 2 stars but the above praises saved them. Steak was prepared well but lacked flavor. It’s almost like they didn’t season the meat before cooking. The sauces that came with it were overpowering and not very good. My partner liked them, but for me it seemed like the steak should have stood on its own with great beef flavor, but it didn’t. For dessert, Jon got the apple beignets. He was not happy but we were grateful for the birthday wishes from Beth and the candle. So we didn’t say anything. However, the filling tasted like a Mc Donald’s apple pie. The filling looked like it was Mc Donald’s apple pie filling. Regretfully it looked like it came from a can. Not very flavorful either. Sometimes service makes all the difference when you get a mediocre meal. Thanks Beth!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very fancy. I came here for dinner and there is a dress code(not that strict) and it is a bit on the pricier side but was the best restaurant at the hotel. I ordered the filet mignon(12 oz) and it was delicious. I was so full I wish I ordered the 8 oz and I didn’t finish the steak. The mashed potatoes were salty and a bit sweet, it didn’t even need gravy which is great because they don’t give you any. The asparagus was cooked to perfection and the steak was delicious. Although the sauce they offer you with the dish is gross, it tastes like a wannabe a1 sauce but came more off as teriyaki sauce. The waiter/waitress are very attentive and polite. The food takes awhile to come out which is expected since they are serving you a steak but the wait is worth it since the bread they give you is the best bread you’ll have at a restaurant. The bread is like a baguette/loaf and served in a brown bag. The outside of the bread is crisp and crunchy while the inside is soft and chewy. They also already give you olive oil and vinegar, and butter so you don’t have to ask for either or.

Birthday Celebration and not disappointed! First celebration, weekend prior to real date, was at Jillian’s on El Paseo. For overall experience this wins! Better service, more attentive to clientele and servers cared about what they did. Presentation of food was on par with über expensive Jillian’s and the food was as good. As locals I am surprised we never dined her before! Will return.

Went there for dinner since we were staying so close. Place is nicely put together. Sushi was really good and so was the salad. The service on the other hand needs help our waitress kept disappearing which was aggravating!!!

Decided to check out the restaurant after a concert at the casino. Food was good, and the host did a excellent job of making us feel welcome. So, why the two stars? Our server decided to calculate(hand write) a 20% gratuity on the bottom of our check and summed up the total for us. I am totally aware of restaurants rights to charge gratuity for parties of 6 or more. However, with a party of four, haven’t really heard of or experienced such thing. Although the food was good, we left extremely unhappy and offended about the experience. It is important for restaurants to have good food, but service should be up to par as well.

First time here and was very impressed. Place has an array of items to choose from from Sushi to Steak. The place had a good atmosphere and look to it. The service was great and you didn’t feel rushed. It was my bday and when we ordered dessert and they found out was bday gave us a free dessert, from the menu, not that thing you get when its your bday. Definitely will be back.

Wife and I walked in on a Sunday night around 5:30pm without a reservation and were greeted warmly and promptly seated. The server was very helpful and courteous explaining the wines and entrees. I ordered a bottle of Argentine Cab for 25.00 from a select menu of all bottles 25.00 which was surprisingly good. I ordered the Porterhouse(40) and wife had tempura veg. And sushi. The steak was just fair… I like thicker and seared. This was thin and slightly grisly but edible. Wife loved her dish. Desert really artful and good. I would give it 5 stars but the Porterhouse was not the best. Service was 5 star, as was everything else. I recommend this place. Next I will try something else like the Chilean sea bass. You can take the leftover wine with you too if you don’t finish your bottle. Nice!

Oh. My. Gosh. TOTALLY worth it! When my wife and I first came to Indio(by mistake), we were trying to find something to eat. It originally started as us trying to find Pizza and came to me making reservations via Open Table for The Bistro. Boy am I glad that I did! As far as the«dress code» goes, as long as you aren’t wearing a hat or tank top, you’re good to go in. All the pictures and their classification as a «fine dining» restaurant is a tad mis-leading. I went in with shorts and a t-shirt on and I was greeted totally fine. My wife kept saying that we were under dressed though. I ordered the Kobe Beef Burger and she ordered the«Little Purses.» Both were AMAZING! The burger was perfect a perfect Medium and her pasta was not heavy and was delicious. After we were stuffed from dinner, we got dessert… I got the delicious Trio of Sorbets and she got the Chocolate Oasis Cake. She couldn’t stop complimenting the thing. It seemed like very bite was a «God, I love chocolate» or a «Mmmm… chocolate…» All in all, we would definitely go back, if we ever came back to Indio. I highly recommend if you’re in the area for some reason.

We stayed at this casino for a work conference and wanted something more than food court food so we stopped in. It was a Tuesday night and the place was empty besides my party of 2 and another party of 2 finishing up so our server was very attentive. We started out with the Longostino appetizer. It was just OK in my opinion. I ordered the Bacon wrapped Scallops with a lobster risotto. It was kinda bland. The presentation was nice but I was a little disappointed in the flavor of my main course. My colleague ordered the Veal Parmigiana and it was HUMONGOUS! I’ve never seriously never seen anything like it. We both attacked and and there was still enough left over to feed a couple people. Her dish was actually really tasty. I had never had Veal prepared anyway before and it was a nice first time experience for me. I had an overall good experience here, but it was missing some kind of spark. Its not the type of place I go home still imagining my meal but it wasn’t horrible by any means.

Had a great meal here and for a reasonable price for the quality. Our waitress Maria did a wonderful job helping us out for the evening and will look her up for our next visit. We started with the caprese which Maria split for us w/o a fee or us asking her to. Nice. The Wife had the filet. It came out cooked just as ordered with the choice of potato and delicous asparagus. A nice tidy steak with tons of flavor. I had the shortribs which came with broccolini and horseradish whipped mashed potatoes. These are the most tender shortribs I have ever had. This coming from the guy who orders them everytime he sees them on a menu. All in all tasty meal with great service. The room here could use an update but by no means shabby.
