At the time that I came to this EPL, I had just moved to LA from Northern California(SF bay area). I had just expended tons of energy moving my things in and was hungry. This place was on the way home, and I know how good it tasted back home, so I decided to give this place a try. I pulled up at around 7 pm on a Thursday. There were only 4 cars parked in the parking lot, which is atypical, since there’s always a long line inside and about 10 cars waiting in the drive-thru. I went in anyway, despite this ominous sight. I ordered a few pieces of chicken and one small taco. The taste was disgusting. Completely bland, and stale! I mean really, NOFLAVORWHATSOEVER. I was completely shocked by it actually, ’cause I know how appetizing and flavorful their chicken is. Perhaps, it’s just this particular location. Needless to say, I will NOT be patronizing this location again. I MIGHT try a different location.

I went thru the drive thru today during lunch rush. You’d think my avocado burrito would be fresh right? I touched it when I got it, hoping it’d be too hot for me to eat, but it was only warm. I knew I should have turned back but I didnt. I was on my lunch and in a hurry. Turns out the chicken was not hot enough to kill bacteria — I can picture that burrito sitting under the lamp. Sure enough I got diarreah ten minutes after eating it. Never going back!

This is probably one of the best El Pollo Loco’s that I’ve been to. I had to feed very large party of very hungry workers for a show at the forum last minute and they were able to accommodate my order and they were super nice about it. The manager on duty was Santiago and he was wonderful!

Food is always warm and delicious. I wish the location would have better customer service. Not too bad but not outstanding !!

Two words: Food poisoning. It only takes one time of me spending three days on the toilet to never return to a Pollo Loco location. This means that the employees in the back preparing the good have disgusting habits if they are able to mix the rear chicken with the cooked. With so many locations in Inglewood, just do yourself the favor and head to another one.

I usually go to the pollo loco on imperial and hawthorne. but I was in the area. I always get the chicken tostada but at this location it was really bad with really cold chicken. The woman at the register was also rude when I asked for salsa.

This locations is the worse for as quality of food and service yet they actually cost more. I ate at a different location yesterday and paid less for the same order today! Now I know to avoid this location all together!

This is the only El Pollo that keeps wings on board. Fast and friendly service through the drive-thru.

Best pollo loco in the city, We usually drive a little more to go to one. This time we wanted to try this one that is closer. Let me tell you it’s been the best! We ate a chicken, bacon & avocado quesadilla! Tons of bacon & chicken. There guacamole is fabulous, other locations have there’s like water! This one actually tasted like guacamole!!! The food is very hot once it comes out and they will even walk it to your table! I just got my drink & salsas and BAM It was already in my table! I live this place & it’s service. I really liked the atmosphere, except some dirty smelly costumers We will go back soon! Thank you guys! In other locations they take about 10 min. They start of with the sides while waiting for the entrée, while the side gets cold! I was waiting Infront and was looking at my plate for like 10 min! Everything was cold!

I only really rock pollo bowls and the occasional drum stick so I can’t really get down and dirty with a menu review. The bowls are always consistently good, especially when I load it with a grip of raw diced onions from the salsa bar. Hot tip. Actually, lukewarm tip. Let the drum sticks cool down for 30 minutes. They taste way better(to me) when they cool down. Most people will think that’s gross, but it’s kind of like bacon. You can walk up to bacon sitting on the counter 3 hours later and it tastes BOMB.

The cashier was nice and friendly! No problems and all of the other times I have attended this el Pollplo Loco the cashiers were friendly. The only thing I did not like was when I at the bar getting my salsa and cilantro the lady was cleaning while I was getting my food. Overall the service was swell.

I sat in a drive thru for damn near 14 minutes before I got to the speaker. I was like you gotta be kidding me. This location is sometimes difficult to get into because a bus stop is right before the entrance. Im not suggesting that you should turn in front of a transit bus, but umm its on you. Traffic is mostly packed both ways so as long as you get in none of what I just said matters. The drive thru sucks pretty bad. As I just said, 14 minutes before getting to the speaker. The food was good, I have no complaints about the food, the speed of the service sucks really bad.

Theirs allot of places to eat around this area(fast food). But if you want to eat on the healthy side this is a good choice. Now about the place. It’s kept clean, the salsa bar is kept stocked. Employees are fairly nice and the food is good. One thing that did bug me, the suggestive sales after my order. I know it’s a way to get a few extra $$. But do they have to keep asking? The cashier suggested 5 different items. If I wanted it, I’ll order it.
