IHOP

Only been here once, I ordered an orange and they didn’t have any! that says it all, there’s no breakfast without OJ

So glad it’s closed. This is the worst ihop ever. Dirty dirty dirty. And did I mentioned disgusting.

What a nice little place this is. But being small in a city as big Inglewood, its a fresh breath of clean air. Great service and the food was great. The only thing about the joint is it is a bit over priced for what you get. I dont thik this is a good spot for weekend meals, the wait I am sure would not br worht it.

Food is great of course, but if you ever want to hear the cashier complain about having to work while on instagram and the cook complain about why the customers asked for extra things, you found your place. Currently watching the cashier on her phone cursing up a storm. Welcome to IHOP.

It is a very small location compared to other Ihops and it tends to get really busy in the mornings obviously. Food is very consistent to other locations and the service is ok. Definitely recommend getting here earlier or later in the day. Overall a good experience.

It’s sad that I live here in this neighborhood, but will not be dining at this IHOP again. My daughters and I visited last evening 7÷1÷15 and the service was terrible. Being in the field of customer service, I take it very seriously. When we first got there, mind you there were about 2 people in there at the time, the waiter told us to hold on one moment. He was talking to another employee about someone’s order. I don’t know who was training who, but the experience was terrible. He rushed to take our order, did not tend us not one time after that to check on us to see if we needed anything (except to bring the check), he brought me a side that I did not order or want and failed to tell me that they ran out of the item I did order, Kids eat free (but he charged me for my 8 year olds food) and when I informed him of the issue, he did not apologize or say a word, he just fixed the total in the system and told me the correct total, and all while rushing. I understand that sometimes we do not want to be at work and we have bad days, but sometimes we need to fake it to make it. Point is terrible service equals $ 0 Tip. Don’t expect anything if you don’t give anything.

Besides the place being really small, the service is horrible. We went today and our waiting was terrible, he took our drink order and didn’t come back to the table for 10 minutes. However, he checked on all of the people around us, including people who were seated at the same time as us. He not only took their drink order, he also took their food order. We decided to get up and leave. It was horrible to be ignored that way. Maybe he was overwhelmed or maybe he didn’t care enough. Either way it was unacceptable!

By far the worst experience I have ever had at an ihop. Not only did the waitress ignore me every time I would say «excuse me» she was rude and difficult to bring her attention to our table. Slow and hard of hearing (mind you the waitress looked no more than thirty and healthy) the waitress was the reason I had such a terrible experience here. And the way the restaurant was set up was super camped. I practically had the customers at the table next to us sitting on my lap.

Just to update everyone… I received a phone call from a man from IHOP, he sounded as if he was sincerely apologetic and sent me out a gift card. I appreciate how IHOP went about rectifying the matter, however, I will never again in life return to the location on Manchester in Inglewood.

I had the garden omelette yesterday while my significant other had the New bone steak. Today I’m having the smokehouse combo. Both meal taste great. Both servers were kind & attentive. Small space b t perfect for parties 5 or smaller.

This ihop is okay, not as bad as I read from reviews here in Unilocal,staff seem to be doing the best they can with what they have, food is okay service was fast !! Not a place I would come every weekend but if I’m in the area and I’m hungry I could come by again

Poor service! Came to eat here with my mom for lunch. Out waitress was so unfriendly and unprofessional. She came to take our order and seemed annoyed no warm greeting no smile no nothing. Mom ordered coffee she came back poured it and nearly slammed the mug in front my moms face. I ordered a french toast combo she came back with just french toast i asked for my eggs and she said you only ordered french toast to which I replied no i said french toast combo. Came back withy eggs and just set them down no apology no nothing. I drank my water within seconds of getting it no one came by for a refill. I placed my leftover french toast on the center of table while i ate my eggs and without asking she just came and picked up the plate from the table. My mom had to stop her and ask for a box for it. We use to come here all the time and now this place has really bad service dont think ill be going again.

A piece of shit… Do not recommend any business person. This place doesn’t not even deserve a rating!!! A piece of shit to the fullest !!! Bull shit to the fullest

I literally could not stomach the food and I had a salad.
This was the worst eating experience I ever had. I’ve been coming to this place off and on over 30 years And I think over the years they have lost there passion for cooking and serving quality food.
I came here at 12:00pm on a Monday.
I ordered a chopped Cobb salad with crispy chicken and ice tea. My guy ordered the 55+Fresh and Fruity and coffee. My tea arrive and mid way threw drinking it I notice a creamy substance on my fingers and hand. not sure if it was butter but it was also covering the lemon. Total gross out.
Our food arrived at the table and the warning signs went up. The bowl the salad was in was stained. Not sure if it was dirt or the color from the wilted unchopped salad. I asked for more dressing as it appeared not to have any on it. I looked over at the mess of food on my guys plate and cringed at the slice of ham on his plate which look like it had been cooked on a dirty grill. I commented on it. I was ready to leave. He told me not to worry if all else failed he did not think they could do too much damage to pancakes and eggs. So we stayed. Big mistake.
I began to eat my salad. This salad was disgusting. I mean DISGUSTING! Not only was it not chopped but the chicken was cold, tasted like stale chicken fat that was about two or three days old. The bacon was so old it tasted like crunchy greased cardboard. I was glad that I had not added the extra dressing because under the wilted lettuce there was a hug amount of blue cheese dressing which drowned out the flavor of any other ingredient in this salad. Instantly I was nauseous and pushed the bowl away. I asked my guy how does one screw up a salad now noticing his bacon, ham and sausage sitting on his plate with only one bite missing from each. Needless to say he could not eat the meats on his plate and he’s a bacon lover. But I must say he did eat the pancakes and eggs.
The waitress who had been MIA finally passed by the table and I ask her to take the bowl away and informed her that it was disgusting. She suggested that maybe I did not like blue cheese. I express to her just how disgusting the salad was.
The waitress did apologize for the horrible meal and removed it from our bill, but then attempted to charge us for the more expensive fresh and fruity meal.
Note to management, fire your staff and start over again. I really feel the cook has no passion for cooking and your waitress’ and waiters just don’t care. I was very temped to ask to see the condition of the kitchen mainly to see if the grill clean.
I check Unilocal for reviews before I go to a restaurant, but did not in this case because I thought I could trust you. I have never taken the time to leave a review on any restaurant. If it’s bad I simply just never go back, but in this case something had to be said.

Came here the other day with my friends and we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. The staffs is so friendly. They greeted me with a smile and checked on me if to see if I enjoyed my food. All the food is excellent. I have absolutely no complaints. One of the best IHOPs I’ve been too.

The ONLY reason im giving 4 stars is my service on Monday evening July 21 was awful (the food good like usual) but in light of the bad service the owner himself called me and made things right and was very sincerely apologetic for less than adequate service and that shows character and a customer appreciation type attitude this ihop was here since i was ohh 10 maybe younger and im 43 now ! Lol i hope these owners get it together so inglewood can keep a small part of its history

Disgusting! Hair in my egg. Soooo gross!

This old Mexican man was too rushed and I just barely sat here. Parking is for compact cars.
He allowed my pancakes to be garnished with two lemon wedges. I was extremely infuriated after he told me that they come this way!
I notified the manager.
Also it was uncalled for.

The service is very slow and there were only one server to serve the whole testy aren’t I came here Monday evening around 6 pm the restaurant was clean but the waiting time was too long. However, the foods was perfect and hot.

Seriously, there’s a lawsuit by James in the reviews. This food was disgusting, there was a hair on my plate. Why oh why didn’t I just go to Dennys or Roscoe’s. Sunday morning and the place was not busy. I PRAY that they SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! I feel sorry sick already. If I end up in emergency, I will update this review with the case number.
God don’t let my 3 year old get sick!
Dennys on Manchester just past Aviation is much better. Go there instead.
