My wife and were on our way out to Point Reyes Pierce Point Ranch and had heard from a friend their was a great deli here. We stopped for lunch and I had the West Marin Reuben. I’m quite certain it was the best Reuben I’ve ever had. The pastrami from local beef was so flavorful, and the bread was amazing. Clearly handmade and very fresh. My wife tried two different salads because they both looked so good, one with very fresh nectarines sliced into it. She enjoyed them both immensely and I tasted them both and agreed. Beautiful little spot with nice views into the marsh and lots of birds zipping around. Made for a very nice place to refuel on our way up from SF.

Great deli with a large variety of meats and cheeses. Plus they make their own rustic breads and rolls. The breakfast sandwiches were generous in size and delicious. The remainder of the store is clean and well stocked. Prices are reasonable.

Awesome sandwiches! A tiny grocery store that has a really great deli. I bought a sandwich there on a recent trip to Point Reyes, and was very happy. The sandwich was so good that I bought another one the next day when I left the point.

We were told to stop here to grab sandwiches before lighthouse and Point Reyes seashore… What a great recommendation! I had the Reuben sandwich which was excellent. I really liked that they used local ingredients too. Best Rueben I’ve ever had!

This deli is always well stocked with taste tempting foods, even some that you were not thinking about, but when you saw them you knew that you had to have some. We stop here to augment our picnic supplies for last minute things that might not travel so well. There are numbers of beaches and hiking trails plus Pt. Reyes Lighthouse for whale watching. The deli is well located for many different hiking or beach venues.

We, 3 girls, got the tri-tip and the reuben for our 10mile hike up to Tomales Point. They didn’t sweat much and tasted incredible even when cold. They also carry pints of straus ice cream which I haven’t seen anywhere else. Next time must try.

great food, RUDE deli service!!! NOW Inverness Park Market. Formerly Perry’s Deli, this cute upscale market boasts a first rate deli. Recently taken over by a local chef, sandwiches feature such upscale ingredients as pork belly and Romesco sauce. Both sandwiches and potato salad we ordered were excellent! Service… not so much. The woman(Caucasian, shorter older woman with short hair and glasses), who was taking the orders was snappy and rude. When I asked if I could possibly substitute a bread on a sandwich she barked, «NO!» at me and said the sandwich was good with the listed bread. She was right, but should not have made me feel bad in the process!!! There are friendly ways of explaining this to a customer! I worked for many years at my own restaurant and know you do no put the customer on a back foot and make them feel stupid!!! When I asked this cashier woman if she was the chef, she said, «No! I’m not even supposed to be here!» Nice attitude. When I came back to the counter to order a container of potato salad, this woman looked at me with disgust, took my orders and handed me a ticket without looking at me in the eye. I guess I was branded a bread moron at that point!!! Also, no explanation that another deli worker would get the potato salad. Again RUDE! As I was standing waiting be for my sandwiches($ 30 worth of sandwiches plus the salad BTW) I saw that the ‘bread expert’ cashier was friendly to some guys who were probably locals. This pissed me off further. EVERY customer should be treated with graciousness and respect! Every single one!!! Besides: A. I grew up in West Marin B. I’ve owned and run my own restaurant, with counter service– and I WASMAKING the sandwiches MYSELF C. I having pro baking experience and know a lot about artisanal bread SODROPTHEATTITUDEHONEY!

Unilocal and the deli’s info page say open today 6.30am-8pm. Drove some way to enjoy dinner to find that the opening hours on their window state«Closed Tuesday’s». Not impressed. Having a solid rating on Unilocal goes beyond producing good food. Publishing inaccurate information that causes potential customers inconvenience, time and money is unacceptable.

We stopped here on Saturday to pick up a few picnic items before heading out to the beach and this place was great! They have a wonderful deli selection with lots of difference options and the sandwiches were delicious. The pastry items all looked amazing too! If you are in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Revamped deli is now Bay Area upscale rustic with the prices to match. As other eateries in the Pt. Reyes area decline in quality due to the booming economy, Perry’s is stepping up with really extraordinary offerings in a bland«deli». So much more than that. Got the«North Beach» sandwich, best Italian sandwich I have ever had. They also had an amazing, and I MEANAMAZING, «Wild Salad» that appeared to be pine needles, baby chantarelles, pine nuts, and shaved fennel. Everything I had either fell into ‘Very innovative’ or ‘A Classic Done Well’. Service on the other hand… kinda terrible. Oh well.

This place is fantastic, really. I was hoping for a mediocre meal after our visit to Point Reyes National Seashore but thanks to Unilocal,I found this gem! This place is so awesome. It’s a small market that offers grocery items that I wouldn’t even be able to find at my local Publix. Local juices, organic chocolates, locally grown fruits and vegetables, gluten free grocery items and more. What I really enjoyed was their deli as their name so suggests. Meats and cheeses of all kinds. Sandwiches made to order. Picnic items all available to you: fried chicken, potato salads, tuna salads, coleslaw, deviled eggs, etc. They had it all! Our friends ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and the fried chicken with coleslaw. The fried chicken was good but not as juicy as I expected. The coleslaw lacked substance… mayo? vinaigrette? Not sure. But it was missing something. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was really delicious. Toasty bread filled with meat, sauerkraut and cheese. Delish! I ordered the Estero Trail sandwich, which had layers of bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado, and a nice helping of herb aioli. The sandwich was literally as big as one of my hands. I ate one half at the deli and saved the other half for later. Yum! If we ever return to the top tip point of Point Reyes National Seashore, I would definitely return to Perry’s Deli. As a matter of fact, it would be a planned visit on our route because I doubt there could be any place better. :-)

Perfect food stop for your time at Point Reyes. We’ve been visiting Point Reyes National Seashore for years(we live on the east coast), but only discovered Perrys Deli a few trips ago. They make absolutely incredible to-order sandwiches(among a wide variety of foods) which we take with us on long hikes. Their sandwiches are so good that they are now a «must» part of our favorite trails. They carry a full selection of beer, wine, and basic grocery needs. You can even find some things at Perrys that aren’t available at the much larger grocery store in Point Reyes Station.

House fries were just ok but the wimpy burger was the bomb. Reasonable prices and a great location. Would definitely go back if I was in the neighborhood

We like to hike at Point Reyes with a sandwich form Perry’s, but at dinner time, we saw a flatbread being made for a customer and said: «we want one of those!» Perry’s makes their own flatbread & with their chicken salad & everything added… OMG… So delicious! We had it 2 dinners later… Still yummy. And their regular sandwiches R not 2 shabby either. Thanks Perrys! Now we can have more picnics with beautiful views & yummy dinners.

What happened to staff? Yesterday deli service sucked more than usual. I waited forever for someone to take our orders and there was no one in front of us. 4 staff people walked by and looked at us if we had boogers hanging out of our noses… no «hello howdy do»…just a stare and a quick head turn. «I see you.» Maybe since it was a Monday, they had their C Team working. But after waiting awhile; we left. Don’t get me wrong, the deli food is good. But pack a lot of patience. The deli staff is in no rush.

Who would have thought there could be a great neighborhood deli in Inverness??? Nothing like Carnegie Deli in NYC, but then you don’t have to fight the crowds and have a view of the Tomales Wetlands, the endless flood of taxis replaced by a steady stream of fully turned out cyclists. We get out to the area frequently and, since discovering Perry’s, we never miss a visit. Before you get all excited, this is a very simple place, rustic in fact. On closer look, you start seeing that the produce is from«so and so’s» farm across the street, or that the cheeses are from Cowgirl Creamery, also down the street in Pt. Reyes Station, breads are all«handmade». There is a huge selection of interesting drinks and a smallish selection of excellent wines from the area. This place is totally curated, a term I often find overused, but nothing is left to chance at Perry’s. Sophisticated hands make this place run. Then, there is the food, spelled out in colorful chalk on the blackboard above the counter. Breakfast looks really terrific, but for us, who usually get there in the afternoon, the sandwiches and burritos are second to none. Being vegan is NO problemo. Loaded with local greens and grilled vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and thick slices of avocado, the«veggie sandwich» is dressed with a fresh dill dressing, smacking of vinegar and, for me, as good a sandwich as I’ve had ANYWHERE and, at $ 7 bucks, big enough for two! For carnivores, the meats are roasted«in house» and the salamis and other items are top quality. Soups are outrageous, in particular the fresh tomato and, the sides are too many to even mention. Burritos are pretty much on par with anything you can get in the Mission, save the greasy meats and cheeses. The ingredients here are nothing but the best, fresh cooked black beans from Rancho Gordo, organic brown rice, avocado, tomatoes and on and on. If you must, the french fries are some of the best around! Seriously. Crowded around the sole indoor table, we watched the steady stream of customers with interest and, often amusement. dreadlock headed«modern hippies», skinned out cyclists and just plain casual city folk out for a day in the area. Outdoor tables are also available BUT, if you’re smart, you will buy your goodies and head for nearby Limantour Beach, arguable the most beautiful beach in Northern California, spread a blanket in the dunes and just breathe the ocean air. I can’t think of a better afternoon. NOTE: you can even get a NEWYORKTIMES!!!

Nice and easy stop on the way to Point Reyes. Menu on the board is quite interesting. There are a lot of yummy choices I’d like to try. Also there are organic items as well. Hot beverages are reasonable price. One tip: this is a deli/grocery, not a restaurant. There is only a table with 3 – 4 seats inside.

Best Reuben ever. I arrived with high expectations, based on what I had read and what my friends had said and my expectations were completely fulfilled. First off, it is enormous. I took a picture of it after eating half, hoping it would slow me down to take some home, but no… I finished the rest after sharing a bite with my friends. All ingredients are local, and that includes homemade bread, yayum. If another of their hot sandwiches catches your eye, get it. Otherwise, get the Reuben as it is truly awesome.(The house smoked pork bell & rillettes sandwich looks amazing, also.) I would repeat the mint cucumber watermelon salad. Every bite of cucumber and watermelon tastes like it has been marinated for 24 hours in mint! This is not really a sit down restaurant. It is more like a roadside grocery deli with a couple tables out front. Be prepared to wait about 20 – 25 minutes for your sandwich. Ham sandwich was ok… not a reason to stop, in my opinion.
