Today it wasn’t that great of an experience. Overall I would say they are a 5 but today that was not the case. They said it was loose tea leafs but I doubt that because I seen loose tea leafs before. I think the filters were not clean properly. They did acknowledge my complain and offered a different ice tea. I hope this is the only unhappy complain they get when it comes to concerns about cleanliness.

Friends from Minnesota were visiting and they were trying to take advantage of all the yummy Asian food they could get. Her husband was craving shaved ice/snow and after enjoying their frozen treats at their other OC location, we decided to check this place. Pretty standard like there other locations but I felt there was more fruit before. We were too full to try boba and I forgot to order their cream puffs. Be warn cash only. And I almost missed the site since it’s bit hard to read their sign, and it could be bigger.

3 stars for the self serve boba. 1 star for the service. I don’t normally come here for the sit down service but my friend wanted to share the«good food» that they have there. I wasnt to hungry so I can’t rate the food, but the service its self. horrible. We sat there for a good 10 minutes before anyone came over and brought us a menu. Another 5 minutes for them to ask us what we wanted to drink and when we were ready to order we sat there patienly waiting for someone to take our order, mind you another 10 – 15 minutes. On top of that no one came to check if we needed anything else. you know like napkins. And i cant even tell you how long we waited for someone to bring us a check. Probably a good 2 hours we were here. Mind that review is only on the sit down service. Normally the lady at the counter when you want to only order boba, isnt very approachable. The overall buying your cup and getting however much boba you’d like is great. 5 stars for that.

This review is going to be based on drinks since that’s the big thing/display here. You pay for the cup and then go around checking which flavors you like and add them to your cup. Then you can choose the add on’s like boba or jelly for your drink. At the end you come back and they seal the cup for you. The whole process is just like going to a self serve froyo place. Right off the bat though you notice there are many, many flavors. I really feel like by that you can tell there’s a quantity over quality thing going. I know from experience that green/black tea can only be out for 1 day and milk teas for 1 week. The machines that they come in also need to be cleaned at least every day. Then there’s the drip trays and the walk way that should be cleaned all day long. See where I’m going here? None of the things mentioned seem to be constantly clean. Some of the drinks just taste bad as if it’s been left out for a while and you can even see some sort of crusting on a few of the machines. Even for froyo places, the idea of having customers do the work is imperfect because you will always have to be cleaning up messes afterwards. Even really clean customers will accidentally drop something. That’s all I have to say for this place since I wouldn’t come here for anything else. And to be honest, I wouldn’t come here for drinks as well.

So this one is hard to rate & I haven’t eaten here yet. I’ve only gotten their boba. They have 1 side for boba &1 side for eat in. When it’s really crowded, it’s poorly organized! Not the best set up at all! However, they have the best almond snow! Can’t find anything close to theirs. The boba is hit or miss on its consistency. I’ve got not had their slushed and haven’t gotten their tea yet either. I like my almond snow!

this one is closer to my home and another one is closer to my office. We are a big fan of their mango shaved ice. this store has a couple of machines that you can get your own drinks. They are very popular!

Class 302 is pretty cool… you’re able to make your own boba drink. You first buy a cup at $ 4.50/$ 5.50(which is a little expensive), then you can fill it with whatever jellies, slush, and tea flavors you want. Then you bring it up to be sealed. I like that there’s a bunch of options in addition to just regular boba, as well as a big selection of drink flavors. I haven’t tried any of the food or desserts, but they looked good.

The shave snow is whatevs but the make-your-own boba is the bomb. You pay for the cup then fill it up. But make sure if you want to taste the teas ahead of time, that you bypass the topping bar first. And push the level lightly cause it releases quite a bit of liquid that you’ll have to dump out. My ideal combo was the Class 302 Milk Tea(stronger than the other flavors with slightly more sugar) with egg, milk, and chocolate pudding. I love me some pudding. I tried the Strawberry shave snow which had chocolate pudding on the very bottom and then a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top that turned into a thick, non-melty worm-like substance. Everything was too sweet. I was not a fan of this. We need this in Norcal!

I really like it here. Service isn’t the best, but some of the food is pretty bangin’. Love the beef noodle soup and the hot pots. Popcorn chicken is aight. Snow is decent. I have to come here at off times bc it gets crowded. Would be 5 stars if(1) they had alcohol, and(2) better service.

Self-serve boba!!! Cash only!!! How it works: –You choose your cup size. Regular($ 4.50) or large($ 5.50) –Pay at the counter. –Sample everything your heart desires. Use your cup to sample, they don’t provide sample cups –Choose your toppings. They have boba, puddings, jelly, popping boba –Make a decision what drink to pour in your cup. They don’t have a huge variety like the other Class 302. I usually just go for their Almond, Jasmine, or Taro milk tea –Give them your cup to seal Enjoy! Yes they have sticky floors. Who cares. Lol you go here for drinks not for their floors ;)

Cool Concept! Self Service Boba Drinks. Choose what size you want(small $ 4.50 /large $ 5.50), pick the drink, and add your boba, popping boba, pudding, grass jelly, almond tofu, passion jelly, or lychee jelly, etc. I would suggest to get your boba or whatever you want before filling your cup with the tea. The staff will also give you sample cups so you can try the drinks. Don’t forget to ask one of the staff to seal your drink. They also have shaved ice and food. :Drinks: I really like their idea but unfortunately the drinks didn’t taste good. It had some kind of after taste. We ordered Taro with Boba, Almond Milk Tea with Boba and Lychee Jelly. I like how you can be in charge of how much boba you can have; some places don’t put enough. The boba and pudding was bland. ( ) :Customer Service: We ordered, paid, and gave us our cups. :M’s Note: ~No refills allowed ~Indoor and Outdoor Seating ~Parking Lot

This is for the one located right off the Tustin/Irvine Marketplace off the 5. This is the location that is smaller but has the self-serve boba drinks. The chairs and place settings are(as usual) pretty uncomfortable, but what’s even more hilarious is that they’re open until midnight and 1. have a limit on the time you sit there as well as 2. a limit $ per person you have to spend. Not sure who would be staying so late anyway! Unless they bring their own chairs and cushions. Tacky, 302, tacky. Ordered the usual Taiwanese fare: 香腸 or Taiwanese sausage. This item is typically paired with garlic. My mom says it’s for the germs from the olden days, but it kinda stuck so people just have it together anyway. 臭豆腐 or Stinky Tofu, because what is life without fried tofu that smells like fermented noun. 豬肉和蝦仁餛飩湯 or Pork and Shrimp Wonton Soup. I think they called this something shorter on the menu, but for literally translation, that’s what it was. Honestly, this isn’t the kind of place you go to if you want a 5-star place. It’s really all for nostalgia, but like classroom style, like childhood. Which means their mom(ORDAD) probably just got married(ORJUSTHADYOU) and didn’t learn how to cook yet, but it still tastes good. So, 3 stars. I dunno. I like this place, but it’s not like the best place ever. It’s like going to Daphne’s for Greek food. That’s all I can really say about it. The self-serve boba machines are really cool, but I mean, it’s really expensive. It’s $ 5 for the smallest one, and the size isn’t even that big. I killed that thing on a hot summer night. No refills. :(Come if you’re missing something from the old world, but don’t expect the moon and stars.

This particular Class 302 is located all the way in Irvine, but I have driven 45 minutes just so I can come here! No joke. I love this place because you can make your own boba drink! Where else can you do that? I would like to know because it’s pretty far to drive here. Anyway the layout of this place is a little bit inconveniently designed. You have to first walk in to the middle to get your cups. You can have a regular or a large size. And then you go off to the side where all the drinks are. These range from your pomegranate green teas and black teas to your house milk tea and jasmine milk tea, all the way down to coffee slushies as well! Most likely everything that you usually order at a boba shop is located right here within 20 or so levers. They also don’t seem to mind if you sample a few first before you make your concoction. Just pull a little into your cup and try it. No need for sample cups! After having gone a few times, I’ve found one rule that you should generally follow: NEVERMIXTHEFRUITYTEASWITHTHEMILKTEAS. It just doesn’t work my friend. No matter how many of your favorites are in that cup in the end, I guarantee that it won’t taste like what you imagined. If someone comes up with a combination of fruity and milk that works, then please tell me. After you have made your drink, you can also put in as many toppings as you want. Yes, that’s right. You could fill it to the brim with boba if that is what your heart desires. They also have every single topping that you could ever want to put in your drink, from lychee to pudding to popping boba. Go crazy. Toppings usually work out fine no matter what drink it is. At the end of your experiment, you have to bring your(probably filled to the brim) cup to the counter for them to seal. I’m always moving one step at a time trying not to spill my drink during this process. Got to get as much as you can am I right? The décor is like any other class 302, very cute and inviting and sort of like a classroom. Shocker. There are seats inside and outside, so plenty of places to enjoy that magnificent creation of yours. This place is a must try for any boba connoisseur. The possibilities are endless!

Am I a fan of Class 302? not really, mediocre food and somewhat pricy. However, I actually like this Class 302 in particular because of their self serve Boba drinks. This place is cash only, so remember to bring cash or you will end up borrowing money from a friend or even worse. My friend and I did not have cash that day so we ended up walking around the plaza looking for an ATM. The drinks come in two sizes, medium and large. I usually go for the medium since the large size is overkill. They allow you to sample the drinks which is pretty cool on their part. Since there is no sample cup, so you can just use your own cup. The Taro Milk Tea and the Winter Melon Tea are my favorites. Besides from milk tea and flavor tea, they also have slush ice. Did I mention about the unlimited toppings? You can add Boba, jellies and puddings. I believe that the puddings come in three different flavors(coconut, egg and taro). Once you have finished adding toppings to your drink, give your cup to one of the staffs so they can seal it for you. There is plenty of seating in front of the store and the parking is spacious. Overall, my friends and I usually come here mainly for the drinks.

Review on the self serve boba bar/drinks: I love boba! When I heard Class 302 set up a self serve boba station I was stoked and needed to visit ASAP! Located: in the Tustin Market Place, near Lazy Dog Café. You pay for a regular or a large cup, and then you fill up the cup yourself! There’s a variety of teas, I got the Jasmine green tea. But you also can pick slushes! Tim got the strawberry pineapple slush with boba. I got the milk pudding and boba in my drink. Love the self serve concept!

This boba place is a fun place to hang out! First of all, self-served boba… how can you beat that?! They have so many different toppings and drinks for you to choose. Best of all, you can fill up however much toppings you want. I went taro all the way with half a cup of taro boba and the taro milk tea… Large… My whole cup glows purple and I might have gained 5 lbs that day haha. We pigged out on food too, not just drinks! Not all locations of Class 302 has self-served boba drinks, but this one does. We got the hot pot with savory pork broth, spicy pork cutlet ramen and grilled corn on the cob with Taiwanese seasoning. Everything was delicious and we barely had dinner that night. The hot pot, as you can see in the photo, included a lot of ingredients. I couldn’t finish the rice but did finish all the meat and vegetables since they all tasted very fresh and flavorful. The ramen was not the best and not as good as the Japanese ramen, but it’s still very good with the crispy and juicy pork cutlet. The corn on the cob might sound ordinary, but the Taiwanese seasoning they put there made everything better with so much flavors. Service was super efficient that day. There were 6 tables with one server, but the guy had excellent memory to remember our order without pen and paper, was on top of clearing our tables and delivering food, and at the same time helping out at the cash register for people who had to pay for the self-served boba. Superserver I call him! We’ll definitely come back for drinks and food!

Ive never really been a a fan of boba and teas and all that good stuff… So I give this place a 4 star because they converted me! Not sure what a great boba place is, but I know this is one. Its set up like a froyo spot. You serve yourself. So I get the slushy thai milk tea with boba. The bobo is serve yourself as well. Its in a heated pot. Most boba I’ve had has always been hard and chewy. This hot boba id soft and gummy. With it being warm you can really get a rrue feel of its taste, and its delicious! The small is huge!!! Take my warning. If its your first time, after you fill up, bring your cup to the register and ask them to seal it.

The self-serve boba here is only worth it if you get lots of add-ons. $ 4.50 for a small and $ 5.50 for a large is sooo expensive if you’re only getting milk tea and boba. You buy a cup and fill it up with whatever you want. The toppings line is way slower than the drink line so I recommend sampling the drinks you want before getting in the add-on line. The good thing about this is that you can sample as much as you want before deciding what to commit to, but it also makes your cup full of extra random flavors. The setup of the build-your-own boba area is not the most efficient. Everyone gets backed up by the door because that’s where the register, cup sealer, and toppings lines all start. Traffic control would be much better with a layout like Yogurtland’s. Overall, I would only come here again if I really wanted milk tea with a lot of puddings/jellys/boba/etc.

Self serve boba. Enough said. Ambiance Parking | Huge plaza but a pretty poppin place. From restaurants, gym, movie theater, convenience shop, it can get pretty packed. Seating | The tables and chairs will remind you like you’re in elementary school. As there are even small cubbies in each seat. Great for groups big or small. If you want to go, you can eat outside at the plaza tables. Feels | It’s a great late night, date night, tourist place. My experiences here were in the evening and it is relatively slow with people coming every five minutes without a crazy wait. I assume they came here after the theaters. I don’t necessary crave this place but I bring visitors here to wow them of the phenomena. Food: This strictly reflect my boba experience. Once again, you have choices… a lot of them. From slushie sweet to milk tea or tea. You have additional condiments from boba, pudding, and more. I ordered a almond milk tea mixed with honey milk tea with some boba and oreo crumbs. The oreos help make the drink sweeter. Customer Service | Though there was a huge sign that said cash only, our server was very polite and calm to remind us that it was cash only. I appreciate his patience and tolerance. Haha. Overall | 4 stars. Can’t complain about a one of a kind place. With an reasonable price, good service, and great options, Class 302 is a signature place. Though I am not a fanatic on boba it’s a great place overall. TL;DR Tips: * CASHCASHCASHMONEYONLY * Don’t use ice to save more space * Use your cup to sample the flavors.
