11 minutes before closing and said they were closed. On top of that, it’s impossible to find. Don’t even bother.

Not worth!!! They dont have small so youre forced to buy medium/large drink. The taste is very watered down, doesnt have flavor at all

Itching and needed to test it out again. Was relentless and went back during lunch and received even worse experience than the first time. This time the lean straws were given out for drinks that had boba and bits in it. If you are going to be in charge of manning the straws, pretty please pay attention to what you’re handing out. Drinks are not consistent. Ordered same two drinks plus an additional two new drinks and the first two were a far cry from the original experience. The service was lacking immensely. The layout is just not a good sharing space with dining patrons. There’s no place to stand to wait for your drink(s). Pass on this place.

My friend really wanted to try the plant boba so we went to the plaza where E+ is located but we didn’t know it was inside the market. After checking the Unilocal reviews and finding it, I ordered the caramel icy milk and my friend got his plant boba drink. I expected too much after having Half&Half’s icy milk so I was disappointed. My icy milk was very icy and not very flavorful. My friend’s drink tasted pretty good tho. The guy who made our drinks didn’t bother to wipe the sides of our cups after making our drinks so our hands were a sticky mess after holding the cups. I’d rather go to Class 302 since it’s located in the same plaza.

Located inside Wholesome Choice! Another boba place open in Irvine, but primarily targeting customers who are doing their grocery shopping and craving boba. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you just want boba. The place is clean, but the reason I had to dock stars was because this place just has terrible customer service. The employees are really rude. My mom has come here a few times and they always deny her of using the Unilocal discount or whatever discount they’re advertising. Don’t know why. Their drinks are overly sweet as well. Got a tea with lychee jelly and it was more than artificial. Reminds me of Tapioca Express :/ Overall I wouldn’t recommend this boba joint unless you’re at Wholesome Choice and craving boba.

This place is hard to locate. I’ve been here once when it was inside wholesome choice but it has now moved inside Kingfu noodles. The menu they have there seems to not be accurate because I wanted to order the brown sugar icy milk but they said they don’t have it??? But it’s right there on your menu!!! Anyways i opted for a black tea icy milk instead and it was pretty horrible. It pretty much tasted like blended milk. No sweetness at all. I was expecting the milk slush part to be similar to milky 101 from tea bar but it’s not close. I’m only giving 2 stars because the first time I came here the drink was decent.

Super hard to find. Thought it was inside the Wholesome Choice market but when we went inside to look for it, the lady working inside told us it was actually next door in the kung fu restaurant. Weird but ok, we went inside and ordered our drinks. It took 10 mins for mine to come out(I ordered a Caramel Ice Milk) and 20 mins for my friends to come out(she got a Rose milk tea or something). The drinks themselves were actually really good but 3 stars for the difficult location and slow business.

Can’t really review this. But yeah came all the way for boba to find it closed. Hours said it should have been opened… but it wasn’t. TIP: Hard to find place but its located in the wholesome choice market.

This milk tea place is located in wholesome choice. It’s cheap for the price — 3.49 for a medium size and offers two free toppings. I got honey boba and egg pudding. This is my first drink here so I can’t give comprehensive review but I personally think it is good for what it’s priced at. However I don’t imagine coming here often because I prefer other milk tea places. I would definitely consider coming here again to try the other drinks!

This place is a hidden gem!(Shoutout to my gf for finding it haha) I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks here! It was located in a small corner of a supermarket and came across very unassuming. BUT the boba was amazing! Their style reminds me of boba from SGV(A mix between Half&Half and Honeyboba) and guess what, I took a look at the business phone number and indeed it says(626)! Anyways, give it a try yourself. I really enjoyed it and anytime I’m in the OC I will be sure to hit up this spot again.

Mediocre at best. I haven’t tried the crazier flavors as I’m typically just a honey green tea boba type of guy, but theirs did not impress. The boba quality was below average and the tea was average at best. The pro of this place is that it’s close to where I live, but then Class 302 is also in the same center.

If you love boba, then avoid this place. 1. The entire experience felt simultaneously slow and chaotic. There was only 1 girl working there, and the lack of organization irked me to no end. There were 2 people ahead of us and no one after us, so it doesn’t make sense that we had to wait close to 15 minutes for our boba. 2. The boba drinks we had were terrible. Texture-wise, the boba itself wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but our drinks(Passion Fruit Green Tea & Peach Green Milk Tea) were way too syrupy sweet. I could’ve taken my drink, split it into 3 different cups, and added water to each cup to make 3 regularly sweetened drinks. Gross. 3. While she was nice, I noticed that the girl working there wiped her nose with her hand and then proceeded to make our drinks. And since she was the only one there, she also handled the money. That’s not okay without in-between washes. Double gross. 4. Yeah, it’s cheap. I paid less than $ 7 for 2 medium drinks the size of buckets. It would be a great deal except for the fact that it tasted so mediocre that we both ended up throwing half of our boba away. I have never, ever, ever, in the history of my boba-drinking life, thrown boba away like that. I’d rather pay an extra couple dollars for a consistently good, high-quality, well-made drink. It’s worth it to me to pay more for something I’ll love than to pay less for something I’m just going to toss. Not to mention that there is no way in hell that this place is going to make it in Irvine without charging more for their drinks(and there’s no way they can do that with such an inferior product).

**this place is closed down :(** This place is alright. The drinks didn’t blow my mind. When I walked in, I was very confused where it was but I found it after 10 minutes(lol…) they have a HUGE selection of drinks to choose from so it took me awhile to find something and when I did, I had to wait for someone to help me which is fine but I was making eye contact with him and he was making eye contact with me but he didn’t even ask if I was finished ordering or take my order! We just stared at each other until I said something –_– By the time I ordered my drink, I had the matcha latte medium plant size in mind. But I was so confused because the guy was saying something and I couldn’t really hear him because it was loud in the market. Plant size wasn’t on the menu and the guy told me I could only get it in a small cup and only with the milk teas. But he said it more confusingly and it took me awhile to understand. The service is okay. Drinks are okay. I wouldn’t recommended plant version of drinks because I would try to drink some more milk tea and then I would end up choking on some Oreo. It looks nice but j wouldn’t get it again! The medium size is the size at class 302.

It’s located inside Wholesome Choice Market. My friend ordered a passion fruit green tea and I ordered the cold matcha latte. My matcha drink had a strong tea taste! But, the lady took a long time to make the drinks. Down the plaza is class 302(they accept cash only). If you’re looking for an alternative cheap boba you can come here. If you check in on Unilocal you get 10% of your order. It’s an okay boba place. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this.

This boba shop is located inside a market right when you walk in. There was only one girl working so even though the line was short, it took a pretty long time to get our drinks. But she was very nice and sweet so it’s ok :) Not her fault. My friend ordered the E + Boba milk tea and I had mine hot. The hot drinks have only one size. The small size for the cold drink is already big, the large is gigantic. My drink was very ordinary. Not bad though. I probably won’t come back since there are so many other established boba shops around. But you should give this place a try! And don’t forget there’s a check in offer.

LOCATION: Located at the left entrance of a Persian supermarket, Wholesome Choice. Also, only a few doors down another boba place, Class 302. PRICE: Definitely, cheaper than Class 302 and has a 10% discount if you check in! Also, this place accepts card transaction unlike Class 302, which is cash only. I got the Medium size for only $ 3.20!!! The medium size was the equivalent to Class 302’s small size. TASTE: I ordered the Passion Fruit Peach Green Tea and I ONLY tasted the passion fruit. This drink was definitely way too sweet for me. However, there was a strong tea taste in it, which is something I always look for in fruity tea drinks. Overall, if you’re looking for cheap boba that’s not Lollicup or Tapioca Express, then this is your place to go!

First off, this place is located at the left entrance of the Wholesome Choice market! I say that because my friend and I entered through the other entrance and ended up walking around the whole market looking for the place and then had to squeeze our way past the checkout line to get to it lol. Their menu was pretty straightforward although a bit limited. They offered mainly your typical milk tea flavors and some slush drinks. Whenever I try a new boba place, I just get the regular milk tea so I can compare it to others, so my friend got me the E+Boba Milk Tea. Fancy name but it’s just your regular drink. They offer a couple of add-ins, I choose the pudding. The drink itself was decent, nothing particularly special. The pudding itself was tasty though. Wasn’t overly sweet, was a good consistency and texture and soft enough to be slurped up easily but not too chewy. I love their service, amazingly sweet and friendly! They happily answered our questions, especially about how they got the name for their place lol. The only real downside is that it’s located in the supermarket, so it doesn’t have that charming tea shop atmosphere. Super noisy and super busy. The few seating inside were taken up so we had to leave and sit at the tables outside Class 302. And mind you, it was getting quite chilly outside too. We checked in and got the 10% discount, so you get quite a lot for the amount you pay. I wouldn’t go again, because I’m the kind of person who likes to sit and chat over a cup of milk tea, and the supermarket atmosphere doesn’t do it for me. I’d recommend you give this place a shot though, just to check it off your checklist. Like my friend did.

Its a pretty good boba joint. It is strange though as it is located inside the wholesome food market. The service was extremely friendly but it took me and my friend a while to find the place even though I knew it was inside the market, I just didn’t know exactly where. As it turns out it is located next to the Turkish ice cream place(which I hate). So anyways I came through with my friend Nguyen N. and we glanced at their pretty complicated menu. The menu was a bit weird and out of place for me. I decided to just run with their E+ milk tea or whatever and it tasted pretty good though not the best I’ve ever had. It was exactly worth a 3 star. The overall price wasn’t too bad either. For both drinks it was about 6 bucks. They have a 10percent off when you check in so make sure you check in. I gotta return to try their slush because to be honest the milk tea wasn’t doing it for me. Maybe it was the one I got but I just didn’t think much of it but the friendly service made up for that. Overall its a nice boba joint but its just super weird that it is located inside a market, especially with its competitor Class 302 right around the corner too. PS I got a stamp card and I might return just to try their slush.

For the price and the amount you get, this is 4 stars. Check in for 10% off! PARKING: It’s located inside the Wholesome Choice market so park near that. When you go in, just go to the left side and don’t bother going inside the actual market. We made that mistake and had to go out through the checkout lines and then we found E + Boba. Kind of a random location for a boba place. It’s essentially a food court so there are shared tables. FOOD: Pay attention to the symbols on the menu because if it only has the flame, then it is only available in hot drinks. I wanted a rose green tea but they only could give you rose tea(not sure why but oh well). HONEYLEMONGREENTEA — the cold one is green tea, the hot one is black tea. It tastes pretty fresh, they probably literally put honey and then lemon and mixed it with green tea. Not too sweet, you taste the tartness of the lemon. You also get 2 toppings with your drink so take advantage, if you don’t say it they won’t give it to you. The boba is pretty good, fairly chewy and medium sized. My only gripe is the small size has a cap that has a hole in it so it’s not shakeable. The medium size looks like a half and half cup. Overall, it’s about $ 2.99 for the«small» size which feels like a medium size and you get 2 toppings. Fresh, pretty tasty and good boba. Just sucky atmosphere.

This new place in wholesome choice market surprised me today! I’ve been here for couple times and I love all drinks I had(Averagely taste good, the quality is consistently good). Today I saw the bar tender(not sure if that’s how pplz call them) was making a smoothies with red bean that I can’t find on their menu(I guess it might be their secrete menu, hmmmm), and it looked gorgeous! So I asked for the same thing. I was told it’s Matcha Red Bean Smoothie, the price is fairly good($ 3.99 like other smoothies) and it tasted AWESOME! It’s kinda cold today but I can’t help finishing the whole cup(just can’t stop drinking lol). You guys should ask for this, it’s NOTONTHEMENU! I’ll ask for more from secrete menu next time and will keep posting here if they’re good: p love this place so far~
