My wife and I have been frequent visitors to this café over the last 2 years. We have been impressed — time and time again — with the quality of coffee and the enthusiastic service. There are two individuals that truly provide service straight from their hearts, namely Leticia and John. It is also important to note that we are not easy to please. My wife and I, we both have very high expectations. If we can be pleased, there is a good chance you will too… I am a latte drinker. It is only a few years ago that I discovered a dirty secret about Starbucks — their venti(large) latte has only 2(two) shots of espresso. Shame on Starbucks for being able to fool me for so long. Coffee Bean and Peet’s puts 3(three) shots of espresso into their large lattes, but Nordstrom’s eBar latte is much more rich in taste. Why? eBar’s latte has 4(four) shots of espresso in it. Between the rich taste and service that Leticia and John offer, our choice is very clear. Chris

I tried the Grade white and chocolate mocha. It’s always important to shop in a good stomach and mood. A plus is that you don’t have to walk to the other side of the spectrum for coffee and the line is super short. 5 stars from me!!!

I had a very nice 3x espresso here. My espresso had a rich flavor, no bitter or burnt taste, with a long lasting crema. Pretty much what you want and expect of a good espresso. The service was fast and pleasant. Music was a bit loud for me so I took my cup outside. Overall, I think this is a good place for a cup ‘o joe. I detest burnt tasting coffee so I am always looking for local alternatives to that ubiquitius national chain. Ebar will do nicely. Recommend.

I love this place ! Every time I come in Leticia is so welcoming and always gets my drink right. The entire team is awesome as well. And each time I come in Leticia offers me a bag of coffee, I could never say no to her. If you’re looking for a friendly spot to sip on a good cup of coffee this is the place ! :)

The blended coffee here is fantastic! Not expecting it to be that great considering its right in Nordstrom, but I really enjoyed the quality and flavors, well made, great to keep me going while shopping at the Spectrum. Service was nice, prices ok, nice stop while shopping here.

Every time I see Ebar I just have to go in! Love their coffee and bars. So good! One of their best is the honey almond latte and the mocha banana smoothie. Also I love their pecan pie bar and the marble cake, in one word HEAVEN! :-)

Nordstrom Ebar is located( ) next to Nordstrom(duh) and adjacent to The Big Wheel(hard to miss at night after the recent lighting upgrade) in The Irvine Spectrum. Norstrom started expanding in the restaurant business in the late 1970s and in culminated with the opening of the Westfield San Francisco Centre which boasted no less than 4 restaurants and an English Pub. Nordstrom has recently been phasing out its«Espresso Bar» from old stores and replacing them with«eBar.» The«eBars» offer a good selection of snacks and an expanded( ) «hotbar» menu. This location has partnered with Cake Monkey Bakery out of Los Angeles to provides customers with a variety of baked items( ) as well. My better half has tried several drinks here over the years, but determined her favorite is the Iced Mexican Mocha. She really like the Mexican chocolate and special orders it chunky, not melted down. Laina also likes the fact Ebar uses shaving from«real chocolate,» as opposed to a liquid or powder. Last weekend, she ordered one and comments the drink was«perfect» with just the right about of chunky chocolate. The assumption would be that each location would be efficient enough to pull off this slight modification without a hitch, but we were down at the Fashion Island location about a month ago and the barista there had two attempts to replicate the drink to my wife’s specifications(the first drink was completely off), with the second attempt being satisfactory at best. Rohlinism: Not all baristas are created equal! Laina also gave some props to their Pomegranate Iced Tea and this comes from a person that usually isn’t a fan of flavored teas. I am not sure who the original supplier for the baked goods were, but Ebar used to have an awesome raspberry bar that the better half and I both lament is no longer available. I have tried a few of the offerings from Cake Monkey Bakery and I must admit I really love the Huckleberry Donut(including a donut hole on top) with Maple Glaze. If you want to try this particular donut, get there on the early side cause Cake Monkey only delivers two a day and they go fast. The Blueberry Crumb muffin is pretty good if you miss out on the huckleberry donut. If you are a student or like working while enjoying your cup of caffeine, this is probably not your joint. Ebar has a decent amount of seating inside( ) and a two tables( ) outside, but none of the tables are near an outlet. I really couldn’t imagine most of the chairs feeling comfortable after more than a few minutes, so this more of an «order and go» coffee shop and not an «order and stay» location. Since we are usually down here for a morning walk with our four legged family member, the lack of comfortable seating and outlets isn’t a detraction for us, but I know it is «en vogue» to hang out at coffee houses, so this location isn’t going to be everyone’s «cup.» Ebar excepts the normal forms of payment(Cash, ATM card and Credit Card) and you can even charge your morning cup to your Nordstrom card. The staff is friendly and most of the baristas know my wife and her drink on sight, so they are usually starting her mocha before she has a chance to order it. Ebar is good alternative if you are tired of Coffee Bean or Starbucks(both at Spectrum) and offers some good beverage and baked good choices to start your day!

The java quality on their house coffee is good, not great. At least the brew of the day I had. it was rather acidic and not that smooth. I have a feeling though that day in and day out they’re still a better coffee provider than Starpuke’s but maybe not quite as good as Peet’s. NOTE: Apparently they produce their own coffee under the Nordstrom brand. I’ll have to research that further.

This place never seems to have coffee brewed when I come here. More times than not I have to wait for a Pot to brew. The problem is that the guy working the counter doesn’t seem to want to brew one either. Frustrating! Maybe they want to up sell the higher priced drinks.

This place is too pricey and not sure of the quality. Also it is obvious that Nordstrom might have a great store to shop at but this place leaves a lot to be desired from a service perspective. I would just go into the mall a bit farther and go to the Coffee Bean. Also my pumpkin spice is totally cold after two tries of trying of make it warm. Amazing!!! The last time I will come here.

I LOVE E BAR! After going here with our pastor I have become an ebar addict. First and foremost, they have almond milk, which makes me able to have iced coffee without problems(im lactose intolerant) They actually care about what they make and the people who work there are super sweet. Wait has always been short, and always delc

It’s right outside Nordstroms and if you are in the mood for coffee and don’t want to wait on a long line at Starbucks, this is a nice alternative. There is ample seating inside & outside in the courtyard and the concoctions are just as great!

Disappointing. I love the e-Bar at Fashion Island, and not sure why this one is so terrible! I had to make a quick drink run in-between two shifts for work, and decided to stop here really quick. I ended up getting the strawberry lemonade which was just a few pumps of strawberry syrup and lemonade(I know, i know, that’s how it’s normally made), but damnnnn, did I really pay $ 4 just for that?! On top of that, the barista who made my drink had a huge IDGAF look, and didn’t wipe down my drink and basically handed me a sticky cup. Won’t be coming back because there are so many more drink choices at the Spectrum that will treat their customers nicer and make better drinks.

On a recent morning at the Irvine Spectrum I found myself in need of some coffee and a pastry(or two). I spotted the Nordstrom e-Bar and popped in. There was a short line of three people in front of me and within 5 minutes it was my turn. Service here was very friendly. I ordered a regular mocha as well as a basil gruyère croissant and a huckleberry donut with maple glaze. The mocha was very good — no complaints. The donut was terrible; very dry and the«maple» glaze had no flavor. The only good thing about the donut was the clever way they put a donut hole in the donut hole. Unfortunately it was so bad I only took a couple bites. The croissant was okay although I couldn’t taste any basil and some of the cheese was hard(like when you leave cheese exposed to the air for too long). I’d come here for the drinks but skip the pastries.

Drinks we ordered tasted good but that’s not the reason for this review. Girl at the register sucked. Was put off by her service. Not sure what it was exactly… bad enough to write a bad review about our experience at this place. Thanks for ruining our experience at ebar. If I had your name I would put you on blast. Estimate arrival date and time: 10÷3÷14 @ 8:10PM.

A clean and bright coffee and tea bar, with lots of different types of drinks and pastries and just a bit of food. Décor is modern and fresh and ambience is chill, but not Hipster. Friendly and accommodating staff, and bonus points for them for knowing their stuff! I asked about their smoothies and the young lady who assisted me actually knew what ingredients were in it(ice and sorbet, as opposed to yogurt) Iced Mexican Mocha is delicious, with a little bit of chili heat in every sip. I had the Raspberry Bar and thought it was almost more like pie, but 5 star all the way. High quality raspberry preserves used, paired with plenty of buttery, flaky crust. This actually replaces my old favorite raspberry bar at Corner Bakery. Hubby had the Crème Brulee Bar and said«very, very good» and good flavor and was very moist. My daughter Jessica had the CocoJo cookie(a pre-wrapped, milk chocolate covered cookie, with caramel) and said it was delicious and a nice little treat. The cookie was $ 1.50 So many ways to pay: cash, credit card, even your Nordstom credit card will work here, scoring you points. Nordstrom e-Bar also has a few specialty Ice Storms(their name for a Ice-Blended or Frappucino), some good flavored iced teas(Pomegranate) and Strawberry Lemonade and Arnold Palmer. There is also a small selection of Artisan sandwiches and salads. Stop on by, get a drink and perhaps a special taste-treat or dessert, and relax inside or people watch outside at this very nice location at Irvine Spectrum.

Refreshing lemonade served here! I’m a fan of their Iced Green tea cooler, as well. I haven’t tried many of their hot drinks, besides the Mexican Hot Chocolate. That’s an interesting and different take on Hot Cocoa and is worth a try for a more subtle and less sweet drink. I would say this is a great getaway after roaming around the big Irvine Spectrum outdoor shopping mall. Comfortable arm chairs, good drinks, and snacks. I like their carrot cake, it’s a nice treat with a frosting that is just right in terms of sweetness. Prices are similar to most coffee shop chains, if I recall correctly. If you want a receipt, let them know. I was told by the cashier that receipts do not automatically print after purchase. She was able to give me a receipt; I think she had to enter something into her register to make one print out. When I went, it was not busy, and drinks were made quickly. Good place to stop in on a warm day.
