I love this location! The coffee there is the best coffee in USA! I put 4 stars only cause I think the place is too small.

This store is awesome! Best coffee in the Spectrum! And they greet you by your first name if you have been there before! It really makes a customer feel special! My favorite is the vanilla iced coffee!

located within Irvine spectrum the folks here are fast and quick. My Double Vanilla Tea Latte was delicious

I’m here practically every week day! Love the morning folks at Coffee Bean! They are super friendly and helpful. I have a usual drink but they’ve learned that I’ll switch things up on occasion! :-)

I like to visit the coffee bean & tea leaf, especially during the holiday season, for their hot tea latte’s. You can only get their winter dream tea latte during the holiday season, and because of it’s high popularity it sells out quick, sometimes before the holiday season ends. I almost didn’t get one this season, good thing I decided to stop in when I was at the Irvine Spectrum.
I was also able to get a snack, they have mini donuts and there was one old fashion glaze donut left … my fave donut. So I picked up the 3 for $ 1.75, that’s their special when you buy more than one.
It wasn’t that crowded the day I visited, of course it was mid-​morning. But it was nice not having to wait in a big long line. :)
If you’ve never had their winter dream latte, I highly recommend getting it. If you like cinnamon like I do, you’ll definitely like this drink. I also, recommend you try it at the beginning of the holiday season, just in case you like it so much and want more, you’ll have more time to get another. Like I said in some stores, if they don’t order enough, the drink sells out. You don’t want to miss out and have to wait another year to get it! :)

Because my hot drink came out quick and Gina was so charming and funny at the register, I cannot give this place any less than the five stars they deserve.

They have many customers due to good location and I have been going there for 5 years and I never saw there to be cleaned. The stuff just sell the coffee and they don’t care about the cleanness of the shop.

My mom and I just came in after lunch and had a great experience! When we walked in, we got a «Hi, Welcome!» from every single worker in the place. To top it off, Dalia was such a pleasant person. She’s engaging, energetic and seems to always be doing her job and not slacking off. A+ to whoever hired her.

Very comfortable oasis in a crowded mall. Love this CBTL. Great staff. So good I hope I don’t wear out my welcome.

Coffee Bean is hands-​down my favorite chain coffee store. I prefer their regular drip over Starbucks as it tastes less burnt. My go-​to drink is their americano. Occasionally I’ve had issues with the barista getting my order wrong… I always order a small to fill my travel mug and sometimes I’ve been rung up for a medium. They fix it when I bring it up, so no big deal. The people here are always friendly and they have nice outdoor seating and outlets to plug-​in electronics. Coffee Bean always seems to be doing some sort of «Support Our Troops» deal, which I appreciate.
The only reason this isn’t a 5-​star review is because of the noise level (which can be very distracting) and small location. That being said, if the seating in the store is all taken, there is a bunch of seating by the fountain about 50 steps away. No coffee shop vibe, but will do in a pinch!

Worst customer service and the quality of the drinks proves it. The place was pretty empty, two other customers, but there were four baristas, all of whom were busy talking to one costumer. Needless to say the drinks took forever to receive and they were the worst we have had.
I go to Coffee Bean because I know the quality will be great but this shop provided me wrong. You’d be better off going to McDs or BKing if you want good coffee.

coffee bean, why couldn’t you be a drive thru that was easily accessible, and didn’t require me to go into the freaking spectrum?! why!!!
honestly, if this were easier to get to than starbucks, i would totally convert 100%. unfortunately, most days i don’t have time to actually go into the spectrum to get my coffee so i settle for starbucks. :(
service is always great and fast. iced hazelnut latte can be a hit or miss but thankfully, it’s usually more of a hit than miss so i have no complaints. seriously though, why aren’t there more independent coffee beans?

Stopped by for a quick one at lunch. Just a small coffee for my friend and me.
They served a group of 5 that ordered foofroo drinks before us. When I asked they started our coffees (literally just putting coffee In a cup) then forgot or something, I had to ask if I could just grab them behind the counter while they were still trying to give the lattes out before us.
Almost made us late to work!

Out of all my visits in California (SoCal to be specific), I would have to say this is my favorite spot to relax, have a coffee, have breakfast, study, play on my phone/​laptop, or just sit and people watch!
The staff is super friendly and professional. I have not visit here in the late afternoon or evening so I can only speak for the morning staff. I can see that they build some regulars and was kind to all customers that came in. I have been here 3 times and the food and coffee came out delicious every time! My favorite is the dark chocolate latte with almond coconut milk and the egg spinach sandwich for breakfast. They warm up the sandwich for you and from what I see, any other food if you want it served warm. And like today, my coffee and sandwich was brought to my table! Such great service and they genuinely want to give you that! They greet everyone that comes in and that alone makes you feel welcome.
I enjoyed all my experiences here and I definitely would be back here whenever I am in SoCal again.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a great place to stop in during an Irvine Spectrum excursion or meet up with friends for a cup of coffee. The beverages and snacks available are delicious. The staff is professional and friendly. The location is clean and well-​organized. Seating is available, but limited on busy days so snag a bench outside if you plan on resting your shopping muscles for a bit.
I visit this location about once a month and continue to have this same experience no matter the day or time. I’m very satisfied and plan to return again soon for an iced vanilla latte and cheese danish. Yum!

I’m not a fan of Starbucks (neither their coffee nor their corporate ambiance) so this CBTL location at the Spectrum was the perfect choice for a cold caffeine drink on a warm afternoon of shopping.
The line is never too bad here and the customer service is consistently good. On this visit (I came in with my niece) we ordered an iced vanilla latte and a regular iced latte. We received our drinks quickly and sat down on a couple of cushy chairs to relax.
My vanilla latte had only the faintest hint of vanilla to my taste buds but it was still pretty good. My niece finished her drink much more quickly than me. We then noticed and were surprised to see my niece’s cup was filled to the top with ice while mine was only half full of ice… seems like they need more consistency as my niece got half the actual latte that I did.
In the end my drink was refreshing and gave me a jolt to keep up with my hyper-​shopping-​mode niece for the next couple hours.

The good thing about Coffee Beans is that they have good coffee, and the line is shorter than Starbucks. The bad thing is that the tables are dirty with other people’s trash left behind. Coffee Beans now have a rewards program, but this location does not accept it.

First time trying CBTL and NOT BAD!
Not really big on Starbucks or coffee so that definitely influences my preference in drinks. I like tea and they have a great selection.
Ordered:
Simple ice tropical passion (good! Bitter but I enjoy managing the sweetness)
Ice blended chai tea (sis liked it)
Place: Clean, warm and inviting. Seats are bit cramped but they have a few tables outside. Benches as well.
Service: Guy with glasses was real cool. Very patient and helpful (chill day)
Spectrum is fun.
Once you start smelling the pepperoni pretzels… you’re close…
Wish I had some boba balls to throw in! Darn!

I always walk out of my way to go to this CBTL. There are no stores that I want to shop at around CBTL– I shop at Barnes and Noble, H&M, Target, etc, etc.
But this is always so full and is filled with so many people but their drinks come out so quickly and in a non-​crazy mode! There is never any place to sit when I’m around here. I’ve gotten matcha tea the few times I have been here, which isn’t really sweet but I still like it. If you like sweet, go crazy with the caramel/​chocolate. :)

After walking around the Spectrum looking for a boba drink… in vain, I decided to stop by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Though they don’t have the boba milk tea I was looking for, they did make me a custom milk tea. This is known as an iced tea latte to them. Whatever, it works.
My thanks to Kumal for being so nice and coming to check again, to make sure I liked my tea.
Oh, and the campfire cupcake was tasty!
