KFC

Clean location, tasty food, good portion, just your typically fast food chain! Their extra crispy chicken was not that crispy however so can’t give it a 5 star but overall it was up to the typical fast food standards.

SO SO SO disappointed
I came at 7 pm jan 13^th wednesday night and the line was long already (which means I should be able to get my hot wings fresh within 9 minutes right?)
BUT NO, i requested fresh hot wings and the guy at the window was more than happy to answer yes. I paid and drove home only to find out the wings were warm YET SOGGY. (my fault for not checking??? but I don’t think I should ever experience that problem, I can simply go to other KFC that will listen) NOT FRESH. I don’t know If I will return to this location particularly. I felt as if I was robbed with dishonesty…

fried chicken is good when it’s prepared correctly and fresh! this is my biggest complaint when it comes to fast food fried chicken. the prepared food sits around for too long making it breading soggy or the meat dry. but I was so lucky to get piping hot fried chicken. and man does that make a difference! it was on a sunday afternoon around 4ish. i’m going to try it again on another sunday afternoon around 4ish to see if i can get the same luck. i’m sure it has something to do with turnover of product and avoiding lunch/​dinner rushes but it’s worth a try.

Men’s restroom definitely would not pass a health inspection, probably the most filthy restroom I’ve ever been in. Smells so vile I almost threw up after rushing back out of the restroom seconds after entering. Staff needs to do a much better job to bring restroom cleanliness up to par. Absolutely disgusting.

The KFC part seems to get orders more accurate, your best bet is to avoid everything on the Taco Bell menu. The place is filthy, lines take forever and you need to check your order before leaving this place. The best part about my order was having a nice piece of chicken that must have been from a taco in the macaroni, luckily I’m not vegetarian.

Mashed potato tastes like you would eat them from a hospital. Just noooooo. What happened to real fried chicken?!

It is sad that there aren’t many KFC locations in Irvine so I’m forced to come to this one to satisfy my craving for unhealthy (but amazing) fried chicken.
Each time I come here, the wait time is terrible. Even during non-​peak hours, the one cashier staffed takes forever to process an order. With 3 people in front of me, I waited 10 minutes just to place my order.
As I looked for a seat while waiting for my order, every table was dirty with crumbs, sticky liquid stains, and other trash. The seats were not any better. Same with the floors. Don’t fast food restaurants constantly have folks cleaning? Not this one apparently.
Thankfully when the food came, it was quite delicious, although when you’re craving KFC, there’s not much they can do with the food to actually make it bad. Unfortunately, as I was eating, there were small flies all around us. Nice.
This restaurant needs to clean up.

One random day I had chicken cravings and decided to take a walk to this KFC location. I haven’t made a trip to KFC for quite some time now and I wanted to see their new deals. I ended up getting a small meal which ended up filling me up pretty well (purchased the KFC Go cup) with potato wedges and popcorn chicken. It was a large portion for only $ 3.01 total and I would recommend if you want a small meal on the go! Would come back for their other offers to check it out.

Terrible service had to go Thru twice for my separate orders at 1205pm with no line I was the only person in line twice… don’t consider eating here not worth the time

I threw up immediately after having the fried chicken I’m astonished that this establishment is even open. I’m sorry to people that like kfc but the 2 places I have had it here in the last year has been awful. I threw up this time and almost did last time but my friend insisted on going so we went. They all witnessed it and also felt sick. It’s a shame because in the uk it is so good but here in the usa from what I have experienced from where I’ve had it it’s unbelievably poor quality and tastes worse than cafeteria food and should no longer be allowed to sell that food it can’t be healthy if I threw up within 2 mins of eating it. Amanda did a great job answering all of my questions regarding the choices of food on the menu. Of course we’ve grown up with KFC all of our lives but with all the different options it was easier to make a choice. Thanks for the great customer service it’s always a pleasure when people are nice.

I usually go to the kfc in tustin and overall i leave satisfied. This culver location however is seriously below the edible for human consumption category. Yikes.
Although the spices and fried exterior is the same as the stuff I eat at the Tustin location, the quality of the chicken here makes you wonder if you are chewing on the same gamey rank flesh people did in the middle ages before the invention of refridgeration.
the chicken is serously just before expiration and gamey. my starving 10 year old refused to eat a second piece of a tiny hot wing and started chewing stale bagels.
to be fair to corporate kfc, my regular tustin location is much better than this one on culver. if im going to consume steroid-​filled, antibiotic-​injected chicken flesh, it should at least relatively fresh and not like rehydrated chicken jerky.
im never eating here again, but i will continue to visit the one in Tustin.

Stopped by because. We don’t have a KFC original order we live so we need the extra stop. We walked through and ordered our food paid and within two minutes a guy from the back said they ran out of all for us and white meat. We could wait 20 min for a new batch bc it had to cool. I said we are driving ½ hour away and it can cool then. No go, so we asked for a refund. And on our way.

I actually really like their coleslaw.

What a ripoff! The chicken strips were thin and dry. One of them was barely wider than my finger. This is my first and last time going to this location

Not sure what to say… this KFC is similar to other KFC + Taco Bell restaurants that haven’t been remodeled in a few years.
Food is pretty much the same too. Extra Crispy is very juicy, crunchy, and tasty. Original Recipe seems to be greasier and soggier than I remember (although the chicken is still very juicy and tender). Grilled chicken is noticeably smaller and drier than the other two choices (maybe this particular restaurant doesn’t sell much grilled chicken… or maybe they make too much of it and it tends to dry out more before being served). Hot Wings are very crunchy and tasty (highly recommended). But I didn’t like the Chicken Nuggets (too small, dry, and salty for me… didn’t taste as good as the «real» on-​bone chicken).
As far as sides go, the Coleslaw is to DIE for… seriously, I could eat 2 large containers of KFC Coleslaw if I wanted to! Potato Wedges (KFC version of french fries) are also VERY tasty too (but also VERY salty IMHO). Sweet Corn is very good. Mashed Potatoes & Gravy is very good as well. Biscuits are great with butter & honey sauce (sorta dry without anything on them).
And as for drinks, Sweet Tea is pretty good (and only costs $ 1 for ½ gallon)!
Prices are a bit expensive for fast food IMHO if you don’t have a coupon (which I find KFC doesn’t mail them that often), so don’t forget to use Unilocal’s check-​in promo of «14 pc Legs & Thighs + 3 sides + 6 biscuits for $ 19.99 + tax» to save some money (if you’re feeding a few people).

This establishment also has a Taco Bell in it for those that crave variety. This location is very fast – or at least very fast when it’s not lunchtime. When it’s lunchtime, the traffic increases to about 6 people in the line, increasing the wait time heavily. Ordering Taco Bell food is usually faster than KFC food if the customer is hungry and needs something quickly. :9
Like many newer locations, they use digital signage for their food, but they have one screen for the seasonal specials that malfunctions often, so if one wants to know the seasonal specials, one might as well look at the window posters. I need to see the seasonal special at all times. I cannot rely on the windows all the time because at night, the contrast makes it so one cannot see the front of the posters. Having a digital sign that displays an error message all the time makes me not able to know what seasonal specials to purchase and makes me want to buy error messages.
One of the problems with this location is that the restrooms are somewhat disorganized in purpose, having a sliding lock on them. One must wonder how only one occupant in the men’s room could use a sink and a partitioned toilet at the same time. Would the occupant be ashamed of their hands?
The booth seats also feel kind of sunken. It’s like sitting on a cushy toilet.
All that aside, the food’s fine. It has never had any significant problems whenever I’ve eaten it. It would probably be better to take it outside, though… or into a bathroom with a cushy seat for an equal experience.

Im giving the 3 stars just for the coleslaw alone! Love the Original recipe and I don’t always eat here but it was pretty good however it was ridiculously expensive.
I love the legs… how odd… lol i really only eat the white meat but it was sweet and tasty. Food was not bad at all!

Save your money, stay away from this ATM for whomever owns it. God, the prices have shot up to the point of lunacy. Quality of food is maybe mediocre. I got a 4-​piece chicken dinner that includes 2 small sides. All of it sucked. For kicks I got a Mexican
Pizza from their Taco Bell menu. It looked like it was put together by a blind person. And they had the temerity to charge $ 6.00 + for it !
