McDonald’s

This is the first time I’ve been here in a very long time (a first since they’ve changed to delivering to your table); many years ago, I would visit this location more regularly. During my last 2 visits, the service at the counter was rather slow; the cashier wasn’t even present at first (perhaps running the drive-​thru window?). Although it was a quiet part of the early afternoon, with only a few tables occupied, it was hard to find a table that wasn’t clean (crumbs, visible greasy smudges); not once during my late lunch did I see anyone clean the tables. My regular hamburger was fine, and my fries — although not-​fresh-​off-​the-​fryer –were good. Not my favorite McDonald’s location in town.

Inconsistent food quality. Fries will cold one visit, stale on another visit or too oily on the next. Finally decided to try the mozzarella sticks after seeing all the hype and reports of them missing cheese. Guess what? Mine were missing the cheese.

Every time I get hungry late at night, McDonald’s is my go to place. I always go through drive through so I’m not always there to experience the full service. At the end of the day, McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant chain. So you can’t expect a sit down restaurant service right? As long as the employees are at least decently polite, you can’t complain. Usually I get pretty good service here. They’re always nice, and more than happy to give me extra sauces when I need. Their way of saying «our ice cream machine is down» is saying that they don’t wanna restart the machine cuz they just cleaned it. Which is probably against corporate policy. So that, they should fix. I’m sure now, everybody is psyched that they’re serving breakfast everyday all day. Which is a hugeeeee thumbs up for me (: just wish they would add the deluxe breakfast platter.

This is my go-​to restaurant when I’m helping my grade school daughter with her homework.
Out of the three McDs near my house, this one has the best parking, the most tables and is pretty comfortable overall.
Negatives:
Tables can be dirty and are not frequently cleaned
TV is too loud and distracting
The machines beep a lot, they don’t turn them off, and it can be very annoying
Trash overflows a lot
Overall, though, it’s the best McDs in Irvine, which it not saying it’s great, only that it’s not the worst.

This Mac is amazing. They gave you a number on a tall stem to put on the table AND they delivered your food! Wait, they even have two employees walking around serving coffee and cleaning up!
Am I in Twilight Zone? MacDonald? Yes, NO kidding, try it yourself!

This is a convenient location for me, drive through is normally fast. food is just ok.

I usually love McDonald’s, it’s my guilty pleasure. the reason why I’m giving three stars is because one time I asked for extra sauce and they charged me and not to mention, had VERY poor customer service. I prefer the McDonald’s in Alton square shopping center

This place always forgets food in the drive through. CHECK YOUR BAGS! worst McDonalds I’ve ever been too. You would think they charge so much for fast food they could train there people better and get the quality back up.

We came for ice cream at this McDonalds and it was terrible!
the ice cream was malformed and sloppy, melting all over the place!
It was not cold enough!
They probably had the machine temperature set too high.
I will think twice before we go here again.

Four stars for giving me free boxes for moving!
I was researching online for where to buy or rent boxes for moving and came upon a list including McDonalds. I went in, and they were nice enough to give me a bunch of free fries and crispy chicken boxes!
Before I carried the boxes to the car, I had my usual #3 Egg White Delite meal and it was on point. Thumbs up all around for MickyDs!

24 hours macdonalds. A few people sleep here at night, and nothing is open around except this place. The food after midnight is meh, and way less selection. Nothing stands out comparing with other place.

I had to give this McDonald’s 5 stars because they make the most perfect chicken mcnuggets compared to any mcds I’ve been to. They are perfectly made and don’t taste old like other branches. They taste perfectly baked with a bit of crispiness.

It’s McDonald’s… What can you say? You go in for some fast food you come out with some fast food… Having here for several years at least once a month never had a problem, never had a situation, never had food poisoning. Sometimes the employees forget you’re around when they talk about each other or their customers… LOL… But what can you say? It’s McDonald’s.

This location was offering a 60 second guarantee on the drive threw so at the first window they hand me a timer and when you get your food you give it back, well today the timer ran out before I got my food and do I was supposed to get a coupon for a free burger next time but the women at the second window would not give it to me she just said I didn’t hold it right which wouldn’t affect it, it would only slow it down. She kept arguing with saying I was wrong so I just left. I won’t be returning to McDonald’s again! Why run a promotion and then not honor it? The employees are dishonest at this store.

We just got back from Hoag Hospital this morning due to food poisoning from this McDonald’s burger.
My daughter had Mcdoubble w/​honey mustard at 10pm last night, and this morning around 3am she started vomiting non stop. Please be aware! As a mother, I’m very concern!

It’s McDonalds.
Pretty clean place. I love coming here and rocking out to music and doing homework. I get a lot done.
The food — your usual McDs stuff. Gotta love their fries and chicken strips. Their 1 dollar menu is good too.
If I could come here everyday I would. The staff is friendly from what I’ve seen.
I feel like the stock is not up to date. Sometimes the bathroom is dirty.
It’s what you get for McDonalds. Don’t expect anything.

In comparison to the other nearby McDonald’s locations, this specific establishment is the most well-​decorated and possesses the largest amount of seating. It never seems to be completely full despite the numerous demographics and groups of teenagers that walk in. The food here is no different than any other McDonald’s.
For those that attempt to use their 3DSs to remotely StreetPass, one will, on average, gain 6 Miis.

Leaving for vegas in an hour and needed something fast… good olé mcdonalds breakfast didn’t sound too bad. Went through the drive through and got a sausage mcmuffic dans egg, hash browns n OJ.
The hash browns weren’t ready yet, so they had me wait in front. Luckily I had my OJ so I decided to sip on it while I waited for my order. My first sip tasted like eggs. GROSS! I took another sip to make sure it was the drink and sure enough could taste the eggs again. Pretty gross… I still love mc d’s, but please clean out your OJ machine.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned. It has been at least 15 minutes since my last confession or since I last sinned. I accuse myself of the following sin:
I have occasionally ate at the worst McDonald’s ever. This one in Irvine on Culver. Yes, it is open 24 hours and yes they do have $ 1 sodas but those benefits are paltry especially when compared to the lackluster food, including terrible fries which are supposedly a McDonald’s virtue, and indifferent, apathetic service. The last time mini-​me and I went there for just a soda and fries run, even he said: «I really hate McDonald’s.»
Growing up this used to be a treat and when I was just a bit younger than Mini-me’s age I even had a McDonald’s play set. Later, I worked as a teenager as a Shift Manager at an OC McDonald’s. I have fond memories of making out in the freezer, breakroom and in the parking lot back in the day (But missed out on Marla who was such a cutie at 16) ;) But now, except for the occasional necessity of a road trip stop (and even then I prefer In N Out or Wendy’s), there really is no reason to visit a McDonald’s…none. Not even for a $ 1 soda. They really are just terrible and another illustration of our society’s decay. But at least mini-​me hates them too so that’s a start.
But I know I’m tilting at windmills. Their reach is staggering:

The drive thru at this location is open 24 hrs which is awesome.
I come to this location a lot so I’m sad to only give 3 stars. This is because I did find a a thick, curly, armpit hair in my eggs in the breakfast deluxe platter… I always think of that nasty armpit hair when I order breakfast here but I like to tell myself it was an accident… so just double check your food before you eat it!
Service is good and your food comes out pretty quick. I usually use the drive-​thru, but I have ordered inside a few times. The inside is pretty clean, never too busy, so I’d suggest ordering inside if the drive-​thru is too long.
