This Jack-​in-​the-​Box is terrible they messed up my order and when I called them they said they would replace it and then I showed up to get it replaced and the store manager rudely said she had no idea what I was talking about and too bad we can’t help you very very poor customer service I will never come to this Jack-​in-​the-​Box again. I know I am only one person so it won’t effect their business but I am sure with how quickly I was mistreated, I am not the only one that this has happened to. Too bad Unilocal doesn’t allow you to leave less than 1 star.

Even for fast food the Buttery Jack was not good, looked nothing like the picture (to be expected to a point) and definitely wasn’t worth 5 bucks. Not to mention they got my order wrong. This was the first and last time I will go to this Jack in the Box.

Terrible location for business but a decent fast food place. Strangely every receipt offers you two free tacos if you fill out a survey online, so you could end up with a decent meal and drink for $ 1.

Quick fast service. Ordered 2 tacos and a junior bacon burger. Also got value fries. Dirty cheap. They’re slow here so the food is quick and service is excellent. Yum yum tacos.
It’s 3 stars for the fact that the food wasn’t super warm. Seemed like they were pre made and just heated up for me haha

Ordered through the drive through one day, the employee who took the order had a hard time understanding what I wanted, also the transaction that took place was a bit awkward, I think perhaps he was a new employee. Anyways, when I got home I found out that they had given me the incorrect food item and the fries were undercooked, almost raw on the inside.

Really good for Jack! Great Service she brought my food to me! The onion rings were the right amount of crunchy… The burger was nice and juicy with the right amount of sauce. I loved every bite from beginning to end! Thank you Jennifer!

This establishment is located next to the train station. It is smaller than the Jack in the Box on Culver/​Irvine Blvd. and bigger than the one in Old Town Irvine (with the exception of the parking lot). There are a lot of car maintenance places in this plaza so one can eat here while having one’s car fixed.
While I was here, there were no notable occurrences and I got the food quickly although I think they might have unintentionally summoned me to the counter by saying what I ordered out loud. The food was fine and it came out reasonably fast.

Last week, my friend asked me to go get a cup of coffee at Jack in The Box. We drove through the drive-​up window. She ordered an iced coffee. I too decided to try it, because she raved about. It was great! Only one problem, there was 80% ice and 20% coffee and that was not okay with me. I also asked the clerk if there was sugar in the coffee and she said no. Today, August 24, 2014, I called the store again and yes, there is a vanilla/​sugar mix in the coffee. That really upset me as I am trying not to eat sugar. No one knows anything at this place and I suggest you not go there either, I know I won’t be buying their sugar-​filled coffee again. Also, no one at this location speaks very good English, so that should give you a heads-​up in the ordering department.

On the receipt the employee’s name says Yunuen. This review is about her. We went here for dinner today. We ordered the Spicy Chicken combo and we even pointed to the promo poster on the window. We did not notice what was printed on the receipt until we sat down. The dollar amount was wrong for the combo. We asked why the dollar amount was not what was printed on the poster and she said it was because we added cheese. So… it costs an additional $ 2 for cheese? We ended up with 2 slices of cheese. If the combo already came with cheese, why were we asked if we wanted cheese? Maybe to charge more money? We were not pissed because we paid $ 2 extra. We were pissed because we pointed to the promo poster and Yunuen disregarded it TWICE! The burger had the regular bun instead of the sour dough bun. In the end, we figured that she charged us for the regular meal and played it off as the promo combo. We did not send it back because we gave her two chances to correct the problem and she did nothing. What the hell happened to common sense and decent customer service?!

I love their Oreo Shake but this location gets minus 2 stars for shutting down the milk shake machine 1 hour before closing. Tsk tsk tsk.

Came here to grab breakfast after dropping my car off for an oil change and found this location to be ok. I’ve been here in the past via the drive-​thru and never had any issues.
The food is the same you find at every other Jack in the Box, so set your expectations accordingly. that aside, this place is decently clean and the people who work there are good. I haven’t had a bad order yet. The size of the store is also pretty fair size with plenty of seating.
I dont imagine this place ever getting filled or super busy due to its location being in the area surrounded by automotive shops and mechanics but it probably does get a decent amount of foot traffic for that same reason.
If you like Jack In the Box, then feel free to go here. If you dont like Jack in the Box. don’t expect this to change your mind or blow you away.

Very clean! The breakfast croissant sandwich is awesome! But the coffee is really weak this time around :(. I like a little more hair on my chest! Lol j/​k!

99.9% This location gets my breakfast correct and as a drive through customer this is extremely important to me.

I came to this location A). its the nearest one to Irvine and B). I wanted to try the Waffle Breakfast sandwich.
I place my order for the Waffle Sandwich combo. What I get is a jumbo jack or something like that. So I take the burger back to the counter and tell them I ordered a Waffle sandwich. So I wait for them to make me a sandwich. Upon getting the correct sandwich, first thing that came to mind, this thing is tiny. Then I bite into it… barely any syrup flavor & the the waffle starts to crumble. Great idea, poor execution.

i know, you must be thinking why in the hell would a jack in the box get 5 stars, but it’s because my breakfast there this morning was fantastic!
i was starving while getting a car wash next door and thought that i’d stop by for some munchies.
3 things that took me by surprise:
1. i was working on some work so i decided to sit down and wait for my number to be called but instead the cashier (kevin?) brought my food over to me! he did the same for the other customers dining in. i thought that was a special touch that i’ve never seen done before at any other jacks.
2. i got the mini pancakes (how cute are they?!), breakfast jack, and orange juice. the pancakes were only $ 1 and the breakfast jack was surprisingly really good and light.
3. i had to stop by the restroom and my oh my, i was impressed by the cleanliness. i usually LOATHE going to fast food restaurants’ restrooms, but i was not scared at this one
there are a lot of elderly customers there in the morning and they seem to know the cashier well and would start conversations. definitely a friendly neighborhood jack. will definitely visit again for breakfast :)

I remember when this place first opened, it was a marvelous little location that I could even ride my bike to. Fast food was more common for me in college, but now when I go somewhere it’s because I’m really just too lazy to cook.
This is by far the worst location in Irvine, we’re here to review the actual restaurant and not just comment on the menu or prices since they’re all really the same. This has been the only place to completely screw up orders on a regular basis.
Most of the time the workers clearly don’t speak fluent English, and it’s always during the later hours. This will be my last time ever purchasing anything from this location because I’m seriously tired of taking a bite out of something that turns out to be the wrong order.
This is a place you want to go if you’re ordering fries and a drink, nothing else. I’m still haunted by the workers asking me if I want a «Yumbo Yak».

I really like their 2 regular tacos for $ 1.00

Another one of my regular fast food joints. I come here when I can’t really figure out what to eat, or when Im low on cash. It’s really inexpensive (okay…CHEAP) to get a meal that will get you by.
Today I just had a large curly fries and a drink. I’m resorting to my granola bars at work to finish me off. Service was fast as usual, and the food was decent. Well, they can’t really botch up the large side of curly fries that I got.
