Our first time here did not disappoint, I was excited to see that there was a combination plate deal that is affordable and filling for the price. We were served by Alvin who offered his suggestion for the chicken curry and another dish — each one was delicious. Alvin gave great service and was very helpful, and he was a good conversationalist. Will be coming back soon!

This is our«go-to» for wonderful Indian food in Orange County. We love this place! We moved to Quail Hill about a year ago and go here at least 2−3x per month. The food is always fresh and the people that work there are so nice. We love talking to Alvin especially, he is so helpful with knowing what is in each dish in case you have a preference or allergy. Every time we see him, he is so personable and so kind. The staff always have great recommendations for us if we are looking for something new to try. Their buffet-style option is always fresh and they will even give you samples! In short, my husband and I highly recommend this place for lunch and/or dinner. Enjoy!!!

If you like Indian food and want inexpensive, this Natraj location is great. Alvin, the manager, usually has some creative chef’s specials that are unique to this location. Curried veggies, curried fritters in yoghurt, to name but a few. He also does a great korma. Definitely not high end Indian like Clay oven, but for inexpensive, quick, healthy and tasty, with a fresh naan, this is hard to beat.

The meal that I enjoyed tonight at Natraj’s Tandoori was perfect. I recommend getting the Chicken Tikka Masala, or the Dal Makhani. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the sauce was very well spiced. The portions were generous and the gentleman that served us, Alvin, was very kind and gave us samples to see what we would like the best. The prices are also very good, at $ 10 for a two entrée meal with rice and garlic Naan. The presentation isn’t the best, but that’s true with most types of Indian food.

Had to kill some time in the area so grabbed a bite here. OMG! This place is Indian heaven for me. Basically, it’s healthy fast food! The guy could see I was unsure as my only other experience was Ninas and all their stuff leave my mouth burning. Anyhow, the guy was really quick to ask if I wanted a taste after I asked how spicy everything was. I narrowed it down to the tikka chicken, the spinach dish and then the mushroom dish. ALLSUPERDELISH! And I love leftovers so don’t think I ate it all at once! Oh, then of course I love the yougurt, so got that too! A must try place, great service, helpful, really tasty food, quick and great price! Am stopping by here more often! Hoghly recommend, thanks, Natraj!

Best chicken Tikka Masala ever! Lucky for me it is so close by! I also recommend the garlic naan bread. I have been to India & tried a lot of Indian Restaurants in the OC& this is the best Indian fast food place I’ve been to. It’s even better food than a lot of the fancy Indian restaurants, but don’t go there for the décor. Go there for the delicious food & nice employees with friendly smiles!

Only got the tea. It was amazing. Unfortunately, no stirrers available. I was directed to use plastic spoons for stirring the boiling hot tea. Recommend they get some stirrers. Food smelled and looked great. Will try it next time.

I was craving Indian food tonight and found Natraj’s Tandoori Indian Food on Unilocal. I’m a big fan of savory and hearty dishes and I was not disappointed here! I got the 3 entrée combo with basmati rice, saag aloo(spinach, cheese, potato), their signature chicken tikka, and chicken do pizza(spicy chicken curry). It also came with naan but for +$ 0.69 you can upgrade to garlic(which I did). I loved each item. The saag aloo is definitely my favorite of the bunch tonight. And there was so much food that I couldn’t even finish! 3 entrees, basmati rice, and garlic naan came out to $ 11.00. You can’t beat that for this much food. I just wish my pictures did more justice. The staff is very professional and friendly. There are little cards describing what’s in the dishes but don’t be afraid to literally ask«what’s that». They will be more than happy to help describe it in more detail like if it’s savory, spicy, etc. I’m definitely coming back every week.

Love this place! I don’t get to comedies often, but always love the food here when I do. Today — Lamb Curry Combo with rice & mixed veggies! Also very nice and clean, friendly staff, and a quiet atmosphere. Check it out!

I have ordered takeout a few times from this place. It’s quick and pretty fresh. Two item combo with garlic Naan is around $ 10.50. I really like the Chicken tikka masala and tend to order it every time as one of my combo items. This time I tried the saag paneer with it. It wasn’t bad. maybe a little boring but good enough. I’ll probably try a different selection next time. The portions are large and good enough for about a person and a half. If you get two chicken dishes you’ll have enough for lunch and dinner.

If you’re looking for consistent, good Indian food, this is the place. CONS: It is a bit over priced, but I always know i will leave satisfied. One big gripe that I have about this place is the price of garlic naan over the regular naan that is included. The only difference is that you put a tablespoon of garlic stuff in when you’re making the bread. If regular naan is already included, shouldn’t it cost like 50 cents maybe to get garlic naan? Not $ 2(or whatever it is). If you’re charging so much, then both breads should be included. PROS: Food is always consistent… if you’re going to be some sort of indian food snob then why are you eating here? That’s like going to taco bell and saying it’s not as good as Javier’s. They HOOKITUP(most of the guys do, but there’s one newer guy that I purposely avoid) unlike other Natraj’s locations(I’m looking at you Foothill Ranch)

If you’re looking for great customer service, don’t come here. They’re not a smiley bunch. Now, if you’re looking for some bomb ass Indian food, look no further. I always get a 2 item combo so I have leftovers for later. Must get the tikka masala. I’m here for the FOOD

Man, I have been struggling to find a good take out Indian place, and this is not it. Food was extremely average if not below average. Definitely will not be back again, over priced and tasteless. Homemade Indian food is bad far the way to go. If anyone has a good Indian place they could recommend that would be great?

The best fast food indian restaurant in Irvine. Chcicken tikka marsala and Banghan Bharta are my favorite here along with the naan. $ 8 for two item combo or $ 9 for 3 item combo, all with naan bread. You can also order freshly made dishes to order but you will just have to wait a bit longer.
