Great place for phở. Maybe because it’s convenient for me, but I’ve been very pleased.

Great local phở restaurant and the menu is extensive. Love the big salads & seafood plates. Service is fast but they do not pressure one to leave; one can enjoy a long leisurely lunch or dinner on the outside patio.

I came here with my friends before going to school. It’s their first time trying Phở and other Vietnamese food(I wanted them to try it out). First of all, the service is alright. Our waiters were attentive and we sometimes caught them playing on their phones and sitting around while we needed their help. Plus, the dining area on the inside is very small. I felt very uncomfortable being squished in such a tight space. It’s because the tables and chairs are small and they are too close with the other tables. Although, the food is very good. The chicken meat is the best part of the meal and I love the broth! Another problem is that the noodles are still hard and they didn’t spread out yet. My friends and I still had a good experience here at this restaurant. We will come back here again when we are hungry for some more Vietnamese food.

I will definitely not be coming back. The first time I was here, I wandered in with my girlfriend and they just stared at us… apparently they were closed but didn’t lock the door or turn off the«Open» sign. After finally asking if they were still open, they said no. And continued to stare. This was a few months ago. We decided to tempt fate and try again, knowing they’d be open this time. Upon entering it was virtually empty and we were seated right away, however, the waitress rushed us through our order and misunderstood our drink order twice while talking over us. Long story short, they brought me the wrong phở twice, at which point I just accepted it because some phở is better than no food. The Thai tea was without boba, which was not what I ordered, and our egg roll appetizer was never brought out. The food was mediocre at best, the service was probably the worst I’ve experienced at a phở place. Never. Again.

This is my go to place for phở because it near home and they are pretty consistent! I always order the filet phở togo but today I decided to dine in. Service was prompt and my bowl of piping hot yumminess arrived quickly. I definitely think this place is waaaaay better than phở hanoi that is down the street!

My first time having Phở. My BF introduced Phở to me. This Phở place is the very good! I will be a continued customer. I have gone 2 times this week already. I highly recommend coming to this place if you are a new Phở first time trier or if you are a Phở lover!

Located next to Thai Spice. This plaza is full of different restaurants so it will get packed during lunch time. Co workers keep coming to this place and I keep refusing since I could get a small bowl for less than $ 5 in Westminster with other meats besides just the rare beef(tai). Finally caved in and gave it a shot. Didn’t take long to get seated. They have outdoor seating too! What I got: Small Phở Tai($ 6): so $ 6 for a small bowl of phở isn’t bad… it’s just that it was only one type of meat. Kind of sad looking when it came out, but it tasted better than it looked. Plenty of noodles and the beef wasn’t too chewy. Service: Not too bad. Food didn’t take too long to come out. Pay at the counter. If you want a simple bowl of phở and don’t want to drive to Westminster then this is the place for you!

This is my favorite Phở spot in Irvine. The proprietors are super nice and the Phở is delicious. There are a ton of places that serves the same food but few are this good. Highly recommended.

Cheap phở place in Irvine off Irvine Center Drive and Jeffrey. I stopped by to pickup a weekday lunch to go, and ordered the Bun Rieu because I was seriously craving it. I don’t get to have Bun Rieu often because a lot of places only have Phở and Bun, but not Bun Rieu. It was okay, but the broth was not as flavorful as I’ve had in the past. The bean sprouts and cilantro looked wilted and kind of brownish too, so not super fresh. I might come again if I were in the area and really craving a bowl of hot noodle soup, but even for Irvine, there are better phở places!

Located next to Thai Spice, this place is a bit hard to find. Came on a Saturday afternoon, and there was no wait. You can choose either to sit inside or outside, with plenty of seating. A lot of people come here to study, since they have WIFI! The waitress and owner were very nice and the service was great. The prices here for phở are so cheap! I would say the best prices in Irvine. Make sure to check-in on Unilocal and get either the rare steak or chicken(P2 or P12) for $ 5.50! It’s for a small, but I ordered extra noodles on the side for $ 1 to fill me up. You can also do the dine-in special for $ 5.95 for a small bowl of rare steak or chicken without the Unilocal Check-In, otherwise the smalls are about $ 7-$ 8. Ordered the: RARESTEAKPHO($ 5.50) — They give you a lot of vegetables on the side, and the broth was flavorful. Nothing special but for the price, I would order it again. There wasn’t too much meat, so I would order the large next time. Overall, I would come back for the dine-in special, since it’s hard to come by cheap phở in Irvine. Will definitely try the drinks and boba next time, since the pictures looked good!

Charging for a low grade tea? I’m a tea drinker but their paid tea is not worth of dime. They also charge for any additional or extra asks such as vegetables for topping. It’s not worth for a bowl of a rice noodle. I do not understand how do they have only one $ sign for their food cost? Taste? Not so special about it. Sorry guys.

Food is great, I always have the spicy beef noodle soup in the restaurant and the croissant for to go as my afternoon tea at work. Portion seems to be smaller than other phở restaurants but should be quite enough for most people. However, there seems to be lack in personnel and always have to wait for a bit till the waitress is available and it took much longer time to check out.

Took about ten minutes to get water… Sat inside, very hot and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was not on, although there was a unit attached to the wall. Ordered two small rare beef phở and one fried rice and a large rare beef phở. Soup taste was okay, although they didn’t put much effort in the veggies and barely had enough. One small plate of veggies to put in the soup for all three of us and when asked for more, no more was given. Would not come back again… Owners are too stingy.

Full disclosure, I eat here often. It’s hard to beat when you can get a good size bowl of phở with rare beef $ 6.50 when you’re done with it. Also have really good avocado smoothies. Trust me, try it. Workers are all very nice and make sure that you’re well attended to. Just because the price is cheap, the value isnt. You get a great meal for every occassion. Their noodle dishes are what I treat myself with every so often. Phở is great, but after twice a week it loses its specialness in your weekly diet. Great place for students, price and location.

Never super packed here. Customer service is ok, they’re usually quick because of the emptiness but not the most inviting due to a language barrier which is fine. I like to come here to grab a quick bite after class… The phở here is usually really good, comes hot and it’s cheap too :) I prefer any of the vermicellis or the broken rice dishes(I usually go with pork because of its sweetness); however, all of them come with the fish sauce which gives it a cold sweet taste to the meat. The spring rolls that they have here are okay in my opinion, not the best I’ve had but the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls is better than most other places especially the ones in Irvine! Yeah actually, if you want cheap, convenient and pretty good phở in Irvine come here! Btw you get a small phở for $ 5.50 when you check in, make sure you tell them that when you order not when you pay. They didn’t let me use it the last time I went lol.

I don’t have highly refined phở taste buds so the rare steak check-in special for $ 5.50 hits the spot. If I’m still hungry I’ll get a Vietnamese sub or spring rolls to go. Quiet, friendly, relatively clean, plenty of outdoor seating. Come try out the factory. Unless you’re a phở snob.

Phở is decent and cheap! Dine in special is $ 5.95 for a small bowl of rare steak or chicken. Otherwise, most small sizes vary from $ 7 or $ 8. Check in on Unilocal and get a small rare steak or chicken for $ 5.50! I’ve never actually checked in to get the deal, I just show them the deal on Unilocal. However, my last 2 visits with 2 different servers didn’t charge me the Unilocal deal on the receipt. I brought it to their attention and they fixed it! I come here aaaaaaaa lottttttttttt because it’s the most convenient for me, but unfortunately the service is consistently not the greatest. Don’t expect anyone to come back and see how you’re doing or to refill your drinks. I bring my own water bottle when I come here. If I happen to need something, I just walk up to the counter where the servers are listening to music, texting, chatting, etc. Most of the time, I have to walk up to the cash register to receive my check and pay. I don’t have any complaints about the other few food items I’ve tried such as the egg rolls and rice dishes. I’ve only tried their milk tea boba but wasn’t a fan. It tasted more like coffee, but the boba was good and chewy!

Phở is very good!!! It’s very flavorful and not too salty at all. And noodles are very chewy. I went there with my husband because they had tables outside the rate on Unilocal is only 3 stars though. We love phở very much so we tried the most famous restaurant in Westminster before but it was just okay. So we’re very happy to find this place. Now we often visit here, almost once a week!!!

First time here and the food is pretty good. Their egg rolls were tasty and so far the best out of other phở places I’ve been to, but I can’t say much though since I’ve only been to about 3 since I moved here. Their strawberry smoothie is good. The Thai tea though… Is not so good. It tasted pretty bitter. Not much sugar to it. Then again, maybe real Thai teas are supposed to taste like that? Or is there even such a thing as Real Thai tea o_o Service was great and included with wonderful smiles. I would come back again someday. Maybe after school whenever I get the cravings for some noodles.
