I only crave phở once in a while and have been to a few different places and this one just kinda blended in. Nothing special but then again nothing bad either. Maybe I just don’t live phở. Service was was reallllly fast and the phở was still warm when I got home.

Used to be the duke at this place. 20+ check-ins. The service is subpar, and that’s me being nice. I used to just go for food but that also has gone downhill. Last time I was there I found bugs in my food and just below standard quality overall. Cleanliness is also an issue. No one is friendly there even though I used to go 2 – 3 times a week, one would assume proper salutations would be in order but only provided with curt cold shoulder service. I’m done with this place. I dont recommend at all. Hope this place closes and makes room for a decent establishment.

Their Phở is okay, I’ve had much better and also much worse. If I had a hangover, I wouldn’t come here to help it(phở is essential for hangover cures). My go to is the phở dac biet and a plate of fried spring rolls. Again, the phở is okay, coming here multiple times, it’s inconsistent(sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst, but more of the latter). Same applies to the fried spring rolls, sometimes I feel like I’m just eating a stick of fried batter. Lastly, their Sriracha sauce is some other off brand. It’s much sweeter and watery, I personally prefer the very popular Sriracha«Rooster» sauce, which doesn’t seem to be available here. It’s a little dingy inside, I’ve had to ask to move to another table on more than one occasion because of that«old water» smell when tables are«cleaned». Not enjoyable with food. Unfortunately, there’s not too many phở options in Irvine, but this place is a better option than others in the area, hence the multiple visits. But if you’re willing to not be lazy and drive 15 minutes north to Garden Grove, there are much more better options.

I am sitting here for an hour waiting for the easiest phở … Phở tai… And I’m with 9 other people and their orders came 30 minutes before me… Still waiting

The phở flavor is good. But man. We have been going to them since the beginning, when the husband was incharge. When the wife took over. It’s terrible service! They always mess up on my take out order. Always mess up on pricing. .it’s only a few dollars but it’s principle. And when i call to tell them, the wife owner says: «oh no, i checked»… well obviously not. Because it’s wrong! Not going again! !

Was in my old neighborhood this evening and had to stop at my former regular phở spot… sadly I was disappointed having just recently visited phonomenon in long beach and remembering it to taste much better .this was only about 14 months ago that I last visited this place. broth was bland .should’ve ordered the shrimp rolls.

This place has a mere 3 star rating and quite amount of 1 star ratings for a good reason. The service is the most unfriendly service I have ever had at a phở place and I know you can’t expect much from one but still, the employees here are some of the unfriendliest people ever. I could bear with the TERRIBLE service if the food was okay but it’s not. It’s not even average or decent it’s just pure disappointment. I wouldn’t come here there are places you’ll get better service and decent food at. This place looks like it will shut down soon as business isn’t that great and the interior is dirty. In addition, there have been multiple other reviews that show that they knowingly serve unsanitary food with bugs in them. I haven’t personally experienced this but with how absolutely filthy this place is, I wouldn’t expect less.

This is not the best phở place ever, but it’s my fav in this area. I always get the phở, and I like it. The noodles sometimes stick together and i’ll have to shake it loose, which is not an ideal start for me to eat phở, but it tastes ok. The meat that comes with phở is just ok, i’m good with plain noodles. Had the fried tofu once, and they give you a lot more than i expected. The batter of the fried tofu doesn’t have any taste in it, which is a pity, but the sauce that comes with it helps. Would not order it again, but if you just want something crispy and not so unhealthy(cos tofu lol), then go for it. Clean enough for me to eat happily inside, and the price is pretty good with a good portion.

This is my go to phở place! Although I always get my orders to go it is still the best tasting place I’ve been to! The one thing I love about this place is the food tastes CONSISTENT, which explains quality. I order takeout from Phở HaNoi at least 2 times a week and it tastes the same EVERYTIME. Definitely a go to phở spot.

You can’t go wrong on a cold day like today for a good bowl of phở. This place is a lot better than what I thought, I’ll be here more often

Come early like before 5:30 pm if you want to avoid a wait. This place gets really crowded and but I wonder why. Yes the staff is very quick and will attend to you. But they are short staffed and these poor servers are running around with their heads chopped off. I will at least acknowledge that they do try with their service. But what I have the most problems with is their food. The phở broth just tasted diluted and water down. The soup was not hot and the noodles was over cooked. Also what’s worst is that they barely give you any meat. Like 4 – 5 slices… The beef stew noodle soup was even worst. The soup just taste like salted water. They served in a smaller bowl too with barely any meat or noodles. No beef broth flavor and I started to question what I ordered. I also want to mention that the place feels dirty. The furniture and the floor were sticky from oil. And the bathroom was so gross. Toilet seat was dirty and the floor around the toilet was wet. I was very disappointed at this place and refuse to come here. I don’t even understand why it gets crowded. Is this the only phở in town! Smh…

At first, I didn’t like this place. The first time I went with my husband, they gave WAY too much noodle compared to other toppings. Then the place slowly got better. I like how I can call in my to-go order and drive there and pick it up within 5~10 min since it’s the closest phở place to our place. Having a BR and Starbucks next door makes dinner run so much more fun too… :)

Stopped by this place since I happened to be in the area and saw that they had the rice paper eggrolls which my husband loves. We were a bit disappointed in the eggrolls though; they were not fried well and were quite small. We also got the Bo Cuo(beef noodle soup) which was so oddly thick and a bit bland. I got the #33 Hanoi Style pork Bun and my friend got #45 charbroiled pork Bun. They tasted exactly the same… there was barely any difference between the dishes except the way you eat it…#33 you wrap yourself and #45 comes all mixed in a bowl…

Nothing special, but we were craving a bowl of phở after day drinking at a friend’s BBQ. No complaints, but nothing to write home about. Service was fine and it wasn’t crowded at all on a Saturday around 7 or 8pm.

Still 2 stars in my opinion. This place just has gotten worst and will just make the drive to the Lake Forest one instead. I went here today and ordered 3 items: large dac biet, beef stew, and noodle dish. The broth in the Phở was tasteless and since it was a large, I would expect to get more than 4 pieces of meat. Maybe there is a meat shortage? Beef Stew is so-so. So is the noodle dish. It really bothered me to be short changed on the Large Dac Biet. I ordered it TO-GO before from this location so I know how much meat I should get. When I go to pay the bill, they tried to sneak an order of 8 egg rolls TO-GO that I didn’t remember ordering nor received. Just plain shady. They dim the lights and it makes it very depressing to eat in this place.

Very reasonable price, fast, and good food. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Yes you can taste msg in their phở, but I accept it as part of phở.

My mom was craving a Vietnamese style sandwich and we passed this place and we decided to check it out. I didn’t bother checking reviews but If I had we would NOT have eaten there at all. We ordered one beef and one pork sandwich so that we could try out two different kinds. Now we don’t eat Vietnamese often but the sandwiches that we’ve had in the past(in another city) were super tasty and filling. We noticed things might not go so well when the bag we got was super light. My mom double checked to make sure there were two orders in there, and there was so we left. As we split our sandwiches we were surprised at the lack of meat and filling. Upon taking a couple bites I felt like all I was getting was bread so I opened it up completely. Complete shock as a realized that my half of the beef had 1 measly slice of beef. ONE. For a half of a sandwich. The pork had slightly more but not much more. Possibly because pork is cheaper? I took a photo because I really couldn’t believe it.

Phở is always a go to choice when me and my bf don’t know what to eat. I haven’t really found a good one in this area but I will say this one isn’t so bad. I’ve been here once before but I didn’t really pay attention and I wasn’t Unilocaling as much yet. We went on a weekday during lunch time and it was a good handful of people. I usually order phở with rare steak, tendon, and tripe. They didn’t have that option so I asked the server if they could do it for me and he said yes. I like their broth. It’s lighter yet very flavorful. For a small it had a good portion of noodles to the other things. It was a lot of food. We also got spring rolls and I liked those too because it came with both pork and shrimp wrapped into it(I think other places give you a choice of either shrimp OR pork). The peanut sauce was alright.

This place is so average and there are so many better phở and Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I came in on a busy Thursday evening and was hoping to just eat a quick meal and head off to run errands but when I asked the woman for a seat she just looked at me like she didn’t want to help me and was like uhhh. So I ended up ordering to go instead. I didn’t feel very welcomed nor was she particularly helpful. Food is pretty average as well — spring rolls are better at Brodards or Phở Saigon Pearl. The shaken beef isn’t particularly spectacular either. Considering the competition in the area I would expect much more effort. Go save your money and go elsewhere.

I would often frequent this plaza on a weekly basis for Tang 190, but this time around, I was joined by co-workers. Majority ruled and people wanted phở. So we came through for lunch around 1pm. I had read reviews ahead just for funsies cause I was curious. I’ve come to the conclusion that because I’m Vietnamese, you should take my review seriously. –I’m kidding… Who says stuff like that? The interior is dated and the floors, a little slippery. I overlooked this because what I really came here for was food, not ambiance. The menu covers a pretty good range of things: rice entrees(com tam), phở, egg noodles(hu tieu), vermicelli(bun) and popular appetizers like egg rolls(cha gio) and spring rolls. I ordered a #15(Phở Tai Gan), but I made sure to use my minimal Vietnamese to get top notch service. Actually, service was the same regardless whether you’re Vietnamese or not… the server might just ask you a couple more questions(perhaps to make sure you’ve made the right decision or so he can confirm your order so that it’s right). I’m not sure about this one. For the regular size, they pack a lot of noodles with a few pieces of rare beef and tendon. I would say like 4 – 5 slices of beef, which I find pretty typical at other restaurants. I’m used to having a lot of broth at home with all the fixings, but I feel like they skimp on stuff like mint, green onions, and cilantro. They only had basil, soybean sprouts, lime and a few slices of jalapeño. Nothing really stood out, but I must say, the tendon is on point! They were so soft and as Andrew Zimmern says, «gelatinous.» Just the way I like ‘em! For the price, it’s fair at $ 6.25 a bowl that fills up for lunch. Also, the soup may be watered down to some, but it was clear, minimal fat and I’m not dying of MSG overload. Overall, I don’t mind coming back, but nothing beats homemade :)
