Today I went in and ordered the grilled beef lemongrass vermicelli with an egg roll. I was served by Denise S. and another boy. My experience was terrible and let me tell you why: 1) I asked for no egg roll but was given one anyways. No big deal though, I just didn’t eat it. 2) I ordered the grilled beef lemongrass vermicelli but it came with NOSAUCE! They just handed me my dish. When I asked if they sauce would be coming, with no apology, they simply stated they were out. I was speechless. I literally was at a loss for words. When I asked for another sauce they said they only had sweet and sour sauce… I ate plain noodles with carrots and cucumber with beef so burnt I thought it was jerky. 3) It took 20 minutes. Update: I got food poisoning. :(

I got Pom Pom peach and my friend got Crimson peach, both pretty good but the ice to drink ratio has me taking a star off, and another star off because it took about 10 mins to make our drinks, so not the best place if you need to come in pick up a drink and leave, but would I come back? Yes. Lol Update: this is my 3rd time visiting. Nothing much has changed but they started to write cute notes on their caps and I thought that was such a nice gesture that I thought I would leave an update :)

I don’t feel like this place is as delicious as their other locations… they seem to run out of toppings that should be stocked up(ex: mango) and they skimp out on their toppings as well. The coconut water tasted rather diluted and everything was very sub par. I think next time I will just drive a bit further to get the good stuff in the other locations.

I really want to like this place, but I was so disappointed. I’ve been to the Westminster location once years ago. I liked the music a lot since I chose this place on purpose as a Saturday night hang out. I didn’t feel like any of the fancy drinks. Just the plain boba drink. I thought it would be cheaper since I didn’t want any of those fancy mix ins like basil seeds, etc. There was no price so when she rang it up I was shocked it was $ 4.50 for a regular plain peach green tea w/boba. I asked her to break the price down. It’s $ 2.99 for green tea + the extra cost for peach flavor and boba. Wow. Really? For some peach syrup? Okkk. The tea itself tasted like any typical sweet boba drink. But the boba itself was mushy. On top of that there wasn’t much boba in it. I guess I have had worst but come on… With all these chains like Lollicup, Tapioca express, etc. how hard is it to make correct texture boba? And why are there prices on every other section of drinks except the plain teas. Did I get overcharged because of the bottle? Next time I’ll take a plastic cup instead. There’s a box where it says«recycle bottle» so to me it’s kind gross they’re probably just washing the bottles. I’d rather take the plain plastic cup. Now on to the food. I asked the worker to make sure the green leaves were in my spicy popcorn chicken because some boba places forget. And of course my chicken came out with none. She went to check w the chef n he said the leaves went bad so he didn’t use any. Okk fine again. When I ate the chicken it was dry, no spice, and worse no flavor! I asked for more of the pepper on the side to see if it would help. Nope. Like it just needed salt or something. I ate like 6 pieces n was grossed out cuz almost all of them had nasty cartilage I had to spit out. What a waste. I would’ve complained but u pay ahead at the counter. Since I already paid and the girls were so nice, I didn’t really wanna cause them any trouble. My next plate came out. Sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves w/rotisserie chicken. First the dish was decent but just not to my taste. The sauce it was marinated in was a little artificial tasting. But the chicken was moist. Looks like it’s thigh meat. However… Rice was not wrapped in banana leaves. It came out a dark color. I think it was mixed w/soy sauce? Not bad but nothing I would ever order again. The chicken wasnt rotisserie either. Kinda misleading name of dish that’s all. Wouldn’t order this again. I liked how they offer authentic viet dishes but I’m not sure if they would taste all that good even if I did order :/ Also another big pet peeve… This is basically a hang out spot and there’s no wifi! Please add wifi. Overall. Would I come again? Yes I would. I like the concept. However I’ll wait a few months and see if they can fix the problems. But I do really want to like u! ;) Also btw. Drinks next door at Boiling point are really good!

I know boba. I’ve tried many a place. Tebo has good boba. Sweet with a nice amount of chewiness without being too soft or rock hard. Pom pom peach with boba is my go to drink. Perfectly sweetened. Love the bottle idea and the multiple food/snack options. Nice décor and hip music. Chill spot. Unfortunately quality has gone down. –1 star for slow line during busy hours. Need 2nd cash register to speed things along. They raised prices. –1 star Boba is consistently poor quality in the evenings. Very mushy and not fresh. Also the pre-made teas have much less toppings than if you customize it. –1 star.

I left feeling angry with what they had the nerve to sell me. I ordered the Avalanche from their«Milky Way» section of their menu. The picture of this dessert looked amazing. It is supposed to be mashed Avocado, Durian, coffee jelly, and condensed milk with crushed ice. I paid almost 6 bucks for this so called large serving. I’m not even joking, it was literally 75% ice. My husband and I literally said WTF when we looked at our order. We even thought maybe they forgot to put the ingredients in the cup. Please look at the pictures of my order to understand how I got screwed over with CRAP. Actually crap would be something huh? There was NOTHING in this cup. It is disappointing that management does not make it a point to train their employees on how to correctly assemble these desserts. I just got ripped off, so did whom ever has ordered from this place. DONOTWASTE your money here! Also the customer service was not great, I even had to wait for a few minutes till until I was greeted. They need a structure, and organizational plans.

Mehhhh idk about this place. I’ve been to this location twice, and the teas and smoothies weren’t that great. The drinks I’ve tried here so far were *Hazelnut Milk Tea with boba added *Bimmer Girl– Strawberries, Peaches, and bananas with boba added *Bikini Peach– Strawberries and peach with added boba The hazelnut tea was mehhh. The flavor was very artificial, and the taste itself wasn’t that great. I ended up giving half the bottle to my boyfriend. Bimmer girl was good. The flavors were there, and the portion itself was pretty generous. Bikini peach, also good. The only thing I would have to says about this is that there’s more crushed ice than there is fruits and flavorings. Overall, I will be back, because I do want to try out the other flavors. However, service is extremely slow, and they only have one person working usually, and it takes so much time for them to make one drink, that they keep other customers waiting at the front whose ready to order. The place probably needs to hire more staff, and would probably make the place run more efficiently. The size of the place is pretty small in size and cozy. Great place if you’re looking to just hang out, and have a drink with friends.

Yikes, this location just recently opened and I don’t think they’re doing so good. Five of us went to order lots of drinks and snacks after our Boiling Point lunch and they were out of everything. Wish we knew that before we spent like 15 minutes perusing the menu! Even strawberries were out! At only 2pm! And your sign says open until 11pm! *smh* How do you run out of everything so early on a Saturday?:P Their Just Opened sign is still up, but they seemed ‘closed’ to me. We had to leave without ordering anything since their stock wasn’t there.

I used to go to the location in Westminster and am so happy that they opened one close to home in Irvine! Their slushies are delicious! I was craving a fruity drink on this super hot day and was not let down. Friendly staff, lovely café area and great appetizer options!

I really wanted to like this place but I was underwhelmed by the boba. I got a green apple iced tea with boba. The tea was sweetened with syrup which tasted amazing like a jolly rancher for the first few sips, but his the flavor of tea which was disappointing. The boba was too mushy soft for my taste. And the proportions were all off — not enough boba, and way too much ice. My cup was over half full of ice. In all fairness, the drink I ordered was pretty basic and it seems they may be more known for their more exotic blended slushes and interesting combinations. All in all, while the place is cute and in a nice location, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

This place could be awesome if they realized their customers weren’t in love with crushed pieces of ice. Insert sarcasm. Seriously, you order a drink and at least 50% of your cool reusable bottle is filled with ice. I’d rather have them charge for the bottle and actually provide me a drink fill with 16oz of liquids since I’d assume that the tea has lower margins than the actual bottle they give. The flavors of the tea are good and refreshing, decent place to just chill for a second, but the dam amount of ice they pack is ridiculous. People that work there seem sort of new(at least I hope there were) cause they were all frazzled on who ordered what and who was ringing up customers.

I have given this place at least a baker’s dozen chance to get it right but each time they fail miserably. It’s nestled in the corner next to the second Boiling Point. The open seating is nice and kept clean, which is a bonus. This place is even cute enough for a quick drink/snack date. Frequent visits have been made since it opened. I’ve had many items from the menu but two stood out among the rest; Laughing Buddha: Pineapple green tea with fresh orange juice and pineapple bits.(+ almond pudding) Triple Stars: Raspberry, lemon and honey in green tea with rainbow jelly. Quirks: — Service is 10⁄10 times inconsistent — Food is meh for price — No place to dispose trash.(I saw a temporary bin placed on Saturday. Duh, maybe they figured it out that one is necessary.) — The hours of opening/closing are not true to what’s listed(I have been turned away during morning opening hour.) The final straw: During my last visit I had ordered two drinks, Laughing Buddha and decided to add Pandan Milk Tea. Five minutes had gone by, with no previous or current customers in queue, I was told that they ran out of an ingredient for the Pandan Milk Tea. My options were; add ice or a different topping. So I naturally went with the different topping, to be told that I need to go back to the register and pay for it. That’s ridiculous, how is that a replacement option? Opt for a refund, which happened promptly and with attitude. I don’t mind paying for a good product. However, I am tired of looking for it at this establishment. What you need to know: — Visit at your own risk — Parking in the same plaza — Be weary of the menu screens. It looks like it could fall at any minute. — Cute place — No frequent stamp card — You may request less ice

Their most appealing gimmick was the tea in a bottle. Hence the name tebo. Unfortunately, other boba joints like zero degrees and roasting waters have adopted their concept and made it 2x better. I did liked them when they first opened in Westminster, but nowadays, they can’t compete with the new hip boba spots. I’ve always liked their fruity ice teas, but I’m not sure if it’s because I’m older and my taste palette has changed… I think their drinks are a little too sweet for me. If you order a tea, I suggest asking for less sweet. My favorite drink I like to order since I was in hs is cloud 9. I don’t ask for any boba because it already comes with jelly. Overall, I think this place is okay. It’s the better boba option in the plaza compared to shaved n’ boba. It’s also located next to Boiling Point so it’ll be good if you’re trying to kill time while you wait. Unfortunately for them, this place has become far too basic.

My sister got me a drink from this place called coco loco. The drink was great, had lots of yummy toppings, the boba where nice and chewy but I felt the ratio of toppings to the coconut milk was so much more than it should have. The drink was awesome! It had just enough sweetness to it but I would order it with a little less topping and more coconut milk next time. Yum-o!

Tebo tebo is just across boiling point on culver. This place is somewhat hidden but it is right next to a korean food restaurant. I came across this place after shopping at Daiso(a nearby Japanese products convenience store) I got their O.M.G. drink because it was similar to the vietnamese dessert drink after reading their description on the menu. I like it alot! I did not get the other fruity/tea drinks because I felt that was too overhype and I can get that just anywhere else. They do the bottle too if you want that but I simply did not get that because I don’t know what I’d do with it afterwards anyways. They have a cute little area inside, a few tables and little booths for you and your friends to eat & drink/chat. This place is recommended best for high school/college students to come here to chit chat and grab a drink. The atmostphere and vibe in here is mostly the teenage/college student groups.

I got the honey milk green tea and omgggg was it good!!! I normally don’t LOVE any drinks… I live near the 626 area and have basically had boba from everywhere… Although I didn’t try the boba here, the tea was flavored soooooo well. It wasn’t syrupy or powdery at all. The total was about $ 3.50, which is pretty standard for any drink place now. There weren’t that many seats as the place itself is generally pretty small. It’s right next to Boiling Point! I actually came here during my wait for BP haha. Enter on the right door, and wait in line to order! Tebo Tebo had a really big variety of drinks and snacks. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

I was at boiling point with my friend and she pointed out that they had opened a tebo tebo in the same plaza, right next to the Korean place. It’s soo nice that they have a tebo tebo here instead of having to drive all the way to Westminster /gg area, this location also isn’t as crowded as the other one even though they took a similar amount of time to make the drinks. I got one of their milk slushie drinks coffee flavored, and my friend had one of their Vietnamese style dessert drinks. Both drinks come loaded with so much stuff they are more like asian style sundae desserts than drinks. My drink had coffee syrup with boba, grass jelly, coffee jelly my friends drink had longan, lychee, jackfruit, fake pom seed, tapioca and coconut milk. Next time I will probably order a juice instead of a slushy because it was way too filling. They need a little bit of work because the drinks took way too long to come out but the staff was friendly and accommodating.

This Tebo Tebo is quite small with about 8 tables. It still needs to work out the operations kinks. When we went for Sunday lunch, there were only 2 staff, and the restaurant gets full pretty quickly. Service was a bit slow. Many items are not available… they even put a sign«menu items for reference only.» There is a $ 3 minimum for credit card charge. CLAYPOTFRIEDRICE($ 7.99): best value and tasty with scallop, shrimp, chicken, young bamboo and mushroom in hot clay pot GRILLEDLEMONGRASSBEEFVERMICELLI&EGGROLL($ 6.99): the beef was too dry and tasted like dried up card board, disappointed with this bun BUNBOHUE($ 7.49): ok beef noodle soup 2.5 stars but bump to 3 for having a tebo tebo in Irivne. TIP: Order from challenge menu and get a complimentary black tea.

Soft opening is from 12÷07÷15 until 12÷13÷15. Their soft opening only includes their tea drinks, milk teas, slushies, and smoothies! It wasn’t too busy when I walked in with my friends today, but I can tell that they’re still training their new employees. I was greeted by the cashier, but she was also in charge of calling out drinks so it took a while to finally get a chance to order. When I ordered my drink she told me that there was no boba left(Boo :-(). The drinks took a while to come out because there was only one person making all of the drinks, but I can only imagine that it must be difficult getting the fruit bits and toppings into their to-go bottles since their caps are so small! Drinks are of the same quality as the ones in Westminster, so good job! The soft opening is a-okay for now, but can’t wait to come back for the grand opening! TIPS: — $ 3.00 minimum for Visa/Mastercard purchases! — Ask for less ice in your iced drinks!(Not your slushies/smoothies)
