Cheap lunch spot. Phở is okay.
Coconut juice isn’t fresh.

I’m not sure what has happened, but the Phở here is awful! Since my last review, we visited many times with consistently great flavors. But my last visit and craving it on a cold rainy day, it was just really bad. The broth no longer had the great flavor that great Phở is supposed to have. The noodles were grainy and lacked the silky, smooth texture. The only thing that I can think of is that they changed owners and went to cheaper products.
I would love to hear back from the owner to explain what has changed. As of now, I do not plan on coming back.

I felt like some hot, spicy wokked vegetables today for lunch. I was driving towards Thai Corner, when I decided to try Pholicious. At noon today, it wasn’t packed like the other phở places. (This is a warning sign) I had their #20 wokked vegetables, tofu, and rice and it was horrible, way too salty. Their sign says HEALTHY CHOICES. 1000 mg of sodium is not healthy. Stick with their phở because their wok was phooey!
I don’t think they have a chef. A chef is someone who tastes what they prepare, a cook just follows instructions and throws it together. That is the only way they can serve something so salty, I felt nauseous while driving back to work. Yecch! This place is worse than a drive-​thru for food preparation. It makes sense, that a phở restaurant would be poor at real cooking. Phở is just noodles with chopped up meats and vegetables thrown in. It is hard to mess that up. The saltiness is broken up by the broth and noodles.
Vegetarians, steer clear of this place, they have only two items on their menu which are vegetarian and I had one of them and left very, very disappointed. This is one of those places where the manager is no where to be found and the service is not mentally present or alert, or concerned with how their food is. No one asked how it was. I didn’t complain to the waiter (?)busboy because I anticipated him getting an even more distant and lost look on his face if I complained.
This is a place I hope goes out-​of-​business and gets replaced with a place that cares about its customers and the quality of their faire. I SHOULD HAVE DRIVEN THE EXTRA 5 MINUTES AND GONE TO THAI CORNER.
