Seafit Pilates

I’m new to Pilates, and Reformer, and working out in general. I am post surgery and 50+ — and was worried about my ability to handle these workouts.
The instructors are EXCELLENT. They are very clear with directions, enabling me to do what I can, and guiding me through the proper positioning and execution of the specific exercises. I leave each class exhausted and shaking — but eager to keep moving forward.
Love the facility, the people, the equipment — all of it. What a great experience this has been.

I bought the intro 3 class package because my friend Emily said this place was great. I’ve done pilates regularly for a few years but Seafit kicked my butt. Gina really just gives it to you.
I was sore for 2 days and was dripping sweat. Definitely a great spot for a fantastic workout.

Just tried out the TRX and group reformer class after trying many reformer pilates classes around Orange County. This one was my favorite! First of all, the place is very clean and inviting. It has a very cozy, relaxing ambiance right when you walk in. Someone did a really good job with the décor! It’s also the biggest room out of all the other places I have been to. I LOVED the workout! The mix between TRX and reformer is really a bonus and the two exercises really go well together. I have the best feeling of soreness that actually becomes quite addiciting. It’s not like I cant move, but I can definitely feel I had a good workout! The teacher was also wonderful and joined us in some of the exercises so I was able to see the technique and how it’s supposed to be done. Highly highly recommend this place!

I guess there is first for everything. I didn’t think I would ever write a review about my workouts, but I really love SEAFIT!!! I used to take private pilates lessons and yoga from different places. At first skeptical. but after trying out Seafit Pilates (especially taking Lauren and Catherine’s class,) at first its was a very challenging for me but every instructor was great accommodating to my fitness level.
I have since signed up for Seafit membership and I have nothing but good to say about them. The instructors at SeaFit are awesome! I especially love classes with Lauren, Lexi, and Catherine!!!

I love Seafit Irvine! I’ve been taking the classes for about a year and a half now and am in the best shape I’ve been in years! The combo of TRX and pilates really strengthens and tones.
The instructors are all amazing (Lexi, Gina, Alice, Lauren) and the owners, Jessica and Catherine, are so great! I ALWAYS get a great workout and I’ve definitely gotten stronger over the past 18 months.
It’s so easy to sign up for class and there are plenty of times throughout the week to choose from. With no more than 10 people in a class, the instructors always make sure your form and technique are correct.
I definitely recommend Seafit!

I love this studio! After having my daughter and going back to work I was looking for a new Pilates studio that I could go to on my lunch break since going after or before work wasn’t an option any more. I looked for a couple months honestly and found this studio close to my work that offered a lunch hour class (score!).
I’ve been coming now for 7 months and just love it here. The teachers are all great and have a unique style of teaching. Lauren & Gina’s style is similar and they both push you to challenge yourself in becoming stronger. Jessica & Catherine the owners (so sweet!) really focus on technique and building a strong core. Lexi & Alice styles are both challenging but in a great way, I would compare it more to slight interval training but Pilates style. I go to all their classes its great to switch it up and keep your body guessing. All teachers are so friendly and really make sure that you are get the most out of your workout which is awesome!
Overall I definitely would recommend Seafit :)!

I have had the best experience here at sea fit! The owner of the studio, Katherine, is encouraging and amazing at teaching. She makes you feel good about yourself and inspires you to do better. As my first time doing Pilates, she was patient and kind. I highly recommend this Pilates studio to anyone who is looking for a fun time!

I miss this place so much! I’ve gotten amazing workouts here and really started to like it thanks to them. They are all amazing BUT my big thanks and love goes to LAUREN… Lauren I’m in love with u! Nothing compares to her workouts. She kicked my but so much, I couldn’t walk for 2 days after each session, and she is a wonderful person! So fun and funny! Make sure to try a session with Lauren PLEASE

I’ve tried pilates at a few different studios around Orange County. But SeaFit is by far the most challenging and enjoyable. I work near by and love going to the 12:15pm, 50 minute class during my lunch break. The class is half on the reformer and half using the TRX bands and I like that they switch it up. The slow controlled movements really work my muscles and are showing results. The studio is clean and professional. My favorite instructor is Lexi, she’s gives clear instructions and really is such a sweet heart.

When I came in this evening it was 1 worker and 1 looked like being trained on Pilates. I wanted to get info on classes and membership especially since I enjoy TRX workouts.
The girl (blonde) didn’t even greet me nor even acknowledge that I had walked in, yet it was just them two in the studio. She could clearly see me looking at the class schedule and I even looked over at her and kinda waited for her to say anything or acknowledge that I was there. Or maybe just a «hey I’m in the middle of training, but feel free to grab a schedule etc» nope just purposely ignoring a potential customer.
First impressions are lastly impressions, seems like this place could be a great place to workout. Unfortunately, customer service is everything. No longer interested in class here or spending a dime at this establishment. I’d rather go to a studio that can at least greet you when you walk in and eager to earn a customers business.

Loved each and every workout in seafit! The combination of TRX and Pilates is amazing. It is exhausting and fun to do.
I would definitely recommend seafit to all my Irvine friends.
Now that I have moved to SF, I miss the workouts at seafit Irvine. Guys, please open up a studio in the bay as well

If I had to describe Seafit in one word, it would be AWESOME! I absolutely love it. It is clean, the workout is great, and the instructors are even better.
First of all, the studio has 10 pilates reformer machines and 10 trx bands. It has wood floors and is always kept very neat and clean. Clients wipe down the machines, mats, and bands at the end of every class. It also seems to be professionally cleaned often and the bathroom is always pristine.
The workout is 45 mins. long and every workout is different! I love that they play music and that the instructors care about proper form and technique. They will correct you privately and seem to give everyone equal attention. The workouts are challenging (in a good way) and I feel the burn long after I leave class. In the beginning I couldn’t take a class two days in a row because I was so sore! I have been going 3 – 5 times per week since Sept. and have seen some serious changes in my body. In addition to the physical changes I’ve seen, my strength has improved tremendously.
I really think the instructors are what have made me fall in love with this place. They are all very knowledgeable and seem to truly love what they do. My favorite instructors are Lexi, Clorie, and Jessica. Lexi is very high energy and is always in a bright and cheery mood. She will always make you «sweat, shake, and burn!» Clorie’s classes are challenging and that’s what I like most about them. She is also very personable and has a true passion for fitness. Jessica provides a great workout and will usually tell you at least one funny story about her life or something everyone can relate to during class. I also enjoy taking Catherine’s classes. The thing I really like about Catherine is that she not only provides a modification to make an exercise easier, but she also provides a challenge for those people who would like a little bit more. You can tell she really tries hard to make sure everyone in the class is getting a good workout even if they are at different fitness levels.
I would highly recommend Seafit Irvine!

Really difficult workouts that make you feel AWESOME afterwards. The teachers are great — very motivating, helpful, and great attitudes. I love coming here and am so grateful the classes are only 45 minutes. :)

I joined Seafit two weeks ago and I love it. I haven’t had a full body burn in 45 minutes… ever. Seafit is clean, professional, and the instructors that I’ve taken classes with are super sweet and very patient… which is important if you’re new. They give great instruction (being that this is a group class) and they constantly walk around to make sure you are doing your exercises correctly and provide any tips or corrections necessary. If you’re looking to get in shape and are ready for great burn this is the place!

Do you want to get fit and have fun while working out? Seafit Pilates is the place! I first tried it out back in August buy purchasing a 5 class deal through Amazon Local. I have been hooked in coming to the classes every week.
It’s a 45 minutes class that combines TRX and reformer Pilates. The instructors are awesome. I have been going to Jessica’s class. She will correct your form if necessary to ensure you’re not going to injured yourself. I love the pumped up music she plays too! 45 minutes will fly by fast and sometimes I wish it’s a 1 hour class! The combo of TRX and reformer Pilates workout really strengthens your core, tones up your muscle and body. I fee a good sore the next day and know I had a great workout.
The place is VERY CLEAN and modern.
Be sure to wear grip socks and tennis shoes!

I took my first class at SeaFit in early August with Jessica as my instructor. Immediately I was hooked and signed up for the unlimited membership. Classes are 45 minutes, fast paced and different each and every time — which I love.
Last year I started a membership at PopPhysique (barre/​mat pilates) when they had a studio in Costa Mesa. It was fun for about two weeks and then it became boring due to the limited variation in their workouts. When they closed that location, I started working with a personal trainer at my gym (LA Fitness). Very soon I realized it was the same redundant workout each time.
Currently, I go 4 – 5 times a week and have had the opportunity to work with each instructor. They each offer something unique to their class, and it makes 45 minutes fly by…
You’ll need tennis shoes for TRX and grip socks for the Pilates reformer machine. If you don’t have grip socks, they sell them there for $ 10-​$ 15 depending on the style.

I’ve tried pilates at a few places and relatively enjoyed it, but but never really loved it. There was always something about the studio itself or the instructors or the music or the workout that made me not enjoy the full hour of working out and feel as though I were actually burning something.
I am so glad I finally found Seafit and can say I thoroughly enjoy (and suffer through) the 45 minutes of pilates and TRX and continue to feel the burn even after the workout has ended (and sometimes a day or two afterwards as well). The instructors here are great and the music is always upbeat, current, and fun. You’ll workout various parts of your body and if you know anything about pilates, this workout is great for toning and strengthening.
I do kickboxing everyday, so I try to add pilates into my lunch schedule or mornings to mix it up and try to come about 2−3x a week, depending on my schedule. This place is awesome for anyone of any age and any level of fitness.

My first time at this location and loved the workout. I was a sweaty mess at the end of the 45 minutes but felt great.
I used to go to the HB location which only had reformers and was so excited to find that they opened a new location closer to me. Irvine has TRX and the traditional style reformers, which makes for a nice change in workout.
Jessica led the class today and was so helpful with correct positioning and technique. It was my first time in TRX and didn’t feel like a dummy! If you want a good workout, I highly recommend Seafit Pilates.

Seafit provides a great balance between TRX and the reformers. The 45 minutes goes by quickly and when it’s over, you really feel like you had a good workout. The facility is clean (that’s really important!), modern and very inviting.
It’s nice to know that the classes have students that are totally fit and some who are like me, wanting to get fit. All of the trainers are very professional, get you motivated and push you just enough (but let you adjust to your own limits). They are aware of each student and demonstrate modifications so you don’t form «bad» habits. For the advanced and those wanting more of a challenge, you have the option to make the reformer rock, or for the not so advanced, you have the option to use the regular reformer.
My co-​workers and I started going together after work. We just love this place and would definitely recommend it!

Seafit packs in the workouts between Pilates reformer & TRX in 45 minutes! It’s a challenging workout in a good concentrated amount of time. I’ve been 3x’s and been muscle sore, in a good way, 2 of of the 3 times the next day.
I even saw someone working out on one reformer today which had a concave bottom! So it rocks while the person was doing standing exercises. I can only handle the regular reformer of which is the majority of the reformers.
I really have loved it! The instructor have all been extremely professional & attentive to what the group class members are doing. It is very clean inside.
I am sad that my groupon deal as a new client which was 5 classes for $ 50 is ending in 3 days. Maybe I can use my last two before then!
