Something is going on here. No credit cards, no lunch specials and raised prices. Was my guilty spot in the plaza, but my hunch is they’re going out of business. I did like you!

Garbage do not come here. Worse place in this plaza. I have tried it various times and told myself maybe it was just a bad batch or different chef. But this place continuously disappoints.

Just ordered delivery… the grilled coconut chicken served after 4 pm… it was delicious I also ordered the mango sticky rice I give that an a plus… and I ordered the vegetable fried rice I’m saving that for tomorrow. The coconut chicken was so juicy I will definitely order it again. The Eat 24 app was easy and fast :)

Not what it used to be id rather go to flame broiler or even poke dot or even tokio grill because it’s that bad.

I think they changed ownership or something. The food isn’t terrible but it’s certainly the weakest link in the shopping plaza, especially with the solid pokedot next door. Prices went up a little and service is way down. The staff in front aren’t overtly rude or insulting but they aren’t very friendly or happy to help you either. Kind of a sad place now. I probably won’t go in the future.

I used to frequent this place quite often as it is near my work. So I visited after not going for a bit. 1st thing I noticed was all the tables were dirty with used plates on them despite it not being very busy. I ordered a garlic pepper beef lunch special and Tom Yum Gai soup spicy to share with co-workers. It took quite a bit of time longer than normal to get our food(Maybe close to 20 mins). The beef came overcooked and dry, low quality rice as well. The soup on the other hand was completely inedible. Sure it was spicy like I enjoy but it was completely bland and like a third full of what tasted like crushed red peppers. Tasted like it was old or scrapped from the bottom of the pot. I complained to the rude woman at the front counter that it was really bad. She replied«Well you wanted it hot». I told her that wasn’t the issue and she said she’d have them remake it. So 10 mins later after waiting patiently she says we are out of Tom Yum, which pretty much confirmed we got some left over garbage and also completely wasted our lunch time. She says she can make us another soup at which point I ask for a refund. Her reply was that her manager doesn’t allow refunds and she can take my name and number so I can get a soup at another time, unbelievable. I have to say these other reviews are probably right about there being a change in owner/management. Bad service, ripoff, and worst of all bad food. I’d never go here again. Sadly it was at least decent at one point.

Ordered Tom Kha Gai. Got something completely different. Not sure what it was. It might have been their Tom Yum, only it was completely flavorless. Kind of a bland, watery broth with semi-cooked vegetables and some kind of chewy rice noodles in it(I did not order noodles). Everyone has off days and I might have been more amicable had their food or service been passable. But recent reviews seem to confirm my suspicions that this place sucks.

super sweet for my taste. I ordered 3 different plates but they came out the same way of preparation and flavor. Very expensive for a very bad dish!!!

On days when I’m hating myself I sometimes crave the greasy thai food they serve here. It’s not good thai food, it’s more like Hasselhoff 2am burger food. When you come to this place at lunch there is never a line because most people steer clear. They’ve screwed up my order multiple times and so today I said enough. I’m not going back… Even if I’m drunk or hungover.

The only reason I am giving this place a bad review is because of the rude Mexican girl that works there at the front. I do not know who or what changed at Twisted Noodle but I don’t like ordering from here any more. An I have decided to write a review because I just called in to place an order to-go because I LOVE their yellow curry chicken! I sat on the phone on hold for over 15 minutes, and I could hear everything that was going on in the background. waiting for that long is unacceptable. Especially when I am calling ahead. I hung up and called back and spoke to the manager and he was very sorry. I am just so upset because I used to love the food and the kind Asian man is always helpful. And Susan used to always make us special orders even if it wasnt on the menu. Where is Susan?! Where is the good service and good food?

If there is a zero star, that isn’t even enough. The rice isn’t made with enough water or something. It’s hard like it’s been in the fridge than reheated. Maybe it’s my fault for ordering rice at a noodle place. But how can it be so bad? Please close so something better opens. This is word of advice to the owners, save money and just close shop. Best regards, Dr nguyen

I had the Lunch Special Chicken Thai chili & basil. One word. Inedible. The food not only stinks of garlic(way too much), it has no flavor. It’s made of a very bad mixture of spices and garlic.

Not my first choice to get some good quality food but this place did a decent job. I ordered Thai Curry and it was ok.

Used to be my favorite place for pad see ew. And now… I hate it. Idk if they changed owners or they lost their cooks. Or whatever it is. It’s terrible. I am super sad and disappointed.

Apparently The Twisted Noodle thinks corporate drones will eat anything and thanks to a captive audience of Cubicle Dwellers within 500 yrds of their shop, they get away with dishing out garbage. I just ordered the Singapore Noodles. My $ 10 got me a heaping pile of overcooked, oversalted noodle-mush, devoid of any real spice. Even, for fried noodles, the grease level is unreal. I can’t eat this. No way. Shame of it is that a good quick-order Asian joint would KILLIT in this area. Unfortunately we have the Twisted Noodle. If you work in the area, just go to Diamond Jamboree for a decent Asian lunch

Worst seafood noodle ever it was horrible, there is not much of any seafood and whatever seafood was there tasted horrible it tasted like every thing was frozen and freezer burned. The soup was full of oil, the shrimp were dry one of the was not even clean up, imitation crab meat not a fan of it any way but this was nasty and soggy, the fish dried and rubber like. Not to mention way over priced for $ 12 for the soup. Also the condiments were unfilled and uncovered, the table was sticky and horrible looking. This is the worse place to for food I do not recommend it for anyone.

I hate to leave a bad review because I had been here before and enjoyed the pad Thai. Recently, however, I ordered the peanut salad and the chicken satay and was completely disgusted. I work in a restaurant so I try to empathize, but this was unacceptable. The salad was absolutely drenched in dressing. The flavor was so good though it resulted in me shaking the dressing off my soggy lettuce and letting it dry out a bit on the empty side of my to go container. The chicken satay was not fully cooked even though the chicken was very thin. I was disappointed because I thought the flavor of the chicken was good as well. I checked all the pieces, all were undercooked. Also, the staff usually serves me plates when I order to dine in. But I guess someone didn’t want to wash dishes this time. Needless to say, I’m disappointed. Will I be back? Who knows. I hope it was an off day.

Listen very carefully, the food here is no good, please do yourself a favor and pass… seriously pass on this place. A cute name does not equal a good meal.

I came here about a month ago and very much enjoyed the food. Twisted Noodles seems to be a family-run franchise with three locations: two in North Carolina, and this one in Irvine. The guy running the counter was incredibly attentive, it was a joy to eat the food, and a delight to find such high quality, authentic food in an Irvine version of a strip mall. I went back last week, and there seem to be new staff with less attention to detail. Jasmin took my order of chicken Pad Thai, and I sat down at one of the booths to wait. I was puzzled when it came in a Styrofoam box. «Didn’t I order this for hear?» «Oh yeah — but less dishes, you know.» I don’t know. Maybe I’d understand if it was the end of the day, and she had asked me in advance about putting my food in a box, but the restaurant wasn’t scheduled to close for ANOTHERFOURHOURS. It wasn’t busy either — there was one other customer in the store. Instead of cleaning any of the tables or clearing the dirty plates from outside, Jasmin seemed to spend my meal standing behind the counter, listening to music from an ear bud. Additionally, there was a piece of beef in my CHICKEN Pad Thai. There seemed to be so little pride in the work that I didn’t seem to be any point in complaining. I don’t have a problem with eating beef, but I have friends who do. I’m glad I didn’t invite any of them to lunch that day. Despite the overall laziness in cooking technique and service, the food was still decent(though not as superb as my fist visit). I heard the owners opened a new place and are putting their attention there — does anyone know where it is?

I would not recommend using the delivery service. It took well over an hour to get my food delivered to me after I placed it. Shortly after ordering they called and told me that they couldn’t give me the fresh fruit ice slush in watermelon because they were out of watermelon. When I asked if they could credit us for the drink they said I would have to do it through Eat24. Huge hassle! So I said just make it orange flavored. My advice we would be not to order the drink at all. It was not very good. The pad thai was fine, but the yellow curry was spicier than I would have liked. In short, I would not use the delivery service again and if we ever wanted Thai food again I would try a better rated Thai restaurant and dine in.
