This has been my recent favorite chilling place… i like the servers there. especially Amy and Jose… they are very welcoming. The music however gets too loud at times. The food is good and i love the outside patio area on a cool evening.

Me and my friends stood at the front for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. Then when we were seated our waiter was not very accommodating at all. I will not be back to this location.

I went in on a Saturday night because nearly every restaurant in Grapevine and Irving was packed. Applebee’s wasn’t packed at all. The steak dinner that I had this evening was average at best. Baked potato and steamed vegetables were average at best as well. I’ve been to a couple of other Applebee’s and they all seem to be about the same food wise. The waitress and manager were both friendly and probably the only positive was that there were a couple of attractive waitresses and a bartender! This might be the type place that you going to regularly and the staff to know you and your name! Kind of like the little neighborhood bar! Like someone else mentioned, this would be the first person I would choose to go, but if nothing else was open or every other place was busy…

Love this location!!! Staff is very attentive, Eric, the Manager took the time to check on us and made us feel like regulars! The bar area is super nice and fun, I love the fact that they have a Jukebox! We will most definitely be back! :)

I’m not sure why I should review Applebee’s. It’s been out forever and I am sure that there isn’t one person on this planet that hasn’t visited one if Applebee’s is in the area. It’s everyday food for anyone to have. Their menus continue to get bigger and bigger by the year. I don’t frequent this place; however, when I do, I seem to always be indecisive on what to get since there are so many options. I normally get their Turkey Club Sandwich since it comes with BBQ sauce, but this sandwich has gone down in my book in recent years. The Strawberry and Avocado Salad isn’t a bad choice if you want a more healthy meal from here. All in all, it’s not the first place I would pick to eat at, nor the second or third, but it’s Applebee’s and there’s always going to be something on the menu for everyone.

The bar is ridden with a constant collection of the grossest people on earth. The bartenders repeatedly bringing you watered down drinks that you do not order. Even saying, ‘I did not order this.” the response is a busy shoulder shrug and a crooked stained smile. Do not assume. Find out fast who is buying the drinks they serve you unordered. I get the tab and POW! I find not only charged for the drinks not ordered but also charged for drinks never drank AKA in the biz: Padding The Tab. Instead of arguing, I left it to karma & left. Will never be back. The people that hover that place literally live there. Most repulsing bar experience imaginable. Be careful because a bad bar in Irving subjects you to an insane Irving underground scum of earth types. They are the guys that dress preppy done in by demon alcohol & sheer stupidity. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Instead– head to Cool River or anywhere is better than Applebee’s. Anywhere.

The food is always fresh. Servers are nice. Good location. Close to freeway. This Applebee’s is consistent with its service.

Honestly every time I come the service gets worse and worse. I’d really like to complain corporate.

This will be simple– I had a problem with my order — two managers Chuck and Michael — apologized for the errors and corrected them. No eye rolls — no making me feel like I am trying to get over on them. They were professional, polite, and provide me with a great experience. That alone gains my loyalty!

Really must say I will be back at this spot! First off! The bar area is super nice. They have just remolded the entire bar area with flat screens and they have a music box. They have a happy hour at night that starts at 10pm and this location stays open to 2AM!!! Oh yea! There’s lots of locals in the area of Las Colinas that go to this location Thursday/Friday/Sat/Sun nights

It’s 10 pm on a Monday and my BFF calls needing some girl time… Unilocal to the rescue… We hit up Applebee’s sine they’re the only semi near place close to both of us that’s open til 2 am!!! I had a white peach sangria(mixture of wine & soda), so refreshing & yummy! She had a vodka & sprite — hard day of shopping. We shared a Napa Chicken & Portobellos(mushrooms, zucchini & onions all under 500 Cals) and a lettuce wedge. The chicken dish was Delish, veggies were perfectly cooked and chicken was thick and juicy. Great late night eats & drinks!

Please do not waste your time or money coming here! Drinks are horrible, food is bad and service is worse! Shots are $ 10-and they don’t tell you, but if you want alcohol in your mixed drinks, you must request a shot. The restaurant was less than a third full, yet the wait staff was more interested in chatting than serving. There were some people in street clothes(maybe work there other times) going into the kitchen and getting food while the rest of us were taking forever to even get chips and salsa. They definitely don’t have the customer in mind while serving and the manager does nothing when you bring it to his attention. There are other places right next door that value the customer – go there!

The last time I was here, the service was bad. Thought I’d try it again… the employees are too busy flirting with one another and forgot the appetizer. Have to flag down the staff for service. Where is the manager?

This place is a lot nicer than some of the other locations I have been to. It seems a lot cleaner too. The food here is okay but to be honest I don’t think that is why people come here. The reason why people come here is because of the cheap drinks. $ 1 coors isnt bad. I know it is a crappy beer but if can tie you over till the bars sound better.

Friday night… no wait! My daughter and I stopped in for dinner before going shopping for a Christmas tree. I had chicken and shrimp(not bad) and an apple caramel martini. The martini was pretty to look at, but it fell short of my expectations. My daughter had macaroni and cheese followed by a chocolate sundae. I think it is a shame to pay $ 4 for a box of Kraft man-n-cheese but that was what she wanted. Wait staff was quick and attentive. All in all, not a bad experience.

This isn’t your normal Applebee’s. When I walked in I noticed white table cloths and candlelight. The maitre d approached requesting the reservation name. I didn’t have a reservation(for Applebee’s??) so I slipped him a c note, and he procured a table with a view for me and my companion. The menu was leather bound and printed on linen paper. Man, have they upgraded this place since I was last here! Gone from the selections were familiar items like the crunchy onion rings and chips and salsa, and instead the menu was filled with hors d’oeuvres with items in French which I could not decipher. I realized my mistake when I tried to apply my two-for-twenty meal coupon; I had accidentally arrived at the French Room. To save face with my date, I cursed my in-dash navigation system for horrible directions. But in the end, it all comes down to this: In Las Colinas there are excellent places to eat(not even considering the Dallas area). For the same money you can have a significantly improved dining experience than Applebee’s. Sure the food is edible at Applebee’s, but why not choose something downright delicious?

I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in forever, but it’s really close to work in the Las Colinas corridor and so hubby and I met there for lunch. Service was pretty quick, and I liked that it wasn’t over-crowded at lunch so it wasn’t loud, but it also wasn’t empty(i.e. scary food town). I had the applewood bacon burger. Good cheddar cheese, crisp thick bacon, burger was seasoned and thick. YUM! Very filling meal for $ 7. Hubby had the appetizer sliders. He said they were not very good and completely pink in the middle. He was actually worried they were a little undercooked. In addition the burger sauce wasn’t very good. The sliders were almost $ 8 and definitely not worth it. The regular burgers are better and don’t cost as much. Think the normal burgers are more food anyway! My burger was well cooked, well seasoned and delicious. Their fries were YUM too. Crispy on the outside, soft inside. :) Things that brought their score down: –Weird thing is their salt shakers had been filled while wet, rusted and gross. Couldn’t pour salt. –Trash on the floor. It’s kind of surprising, just sweep up? –Undercooked burgers for the hubby.
