Denny’s

The restaurant was clean. I was promptly seated and my order was taken fairly quickly. My club sandwich and fries were delicious. The portion of fries were lacking but very tasty. My problem was the waitress dropped my order off and never returned. Not a simple hi is everything ok, can I get you a refill on your beverage, nothing! I sat with an empty plate and an empty glass for at least 15 minutes then I decided to ask another waitress if I still had a waitress myself and she apologized and the original waitress showed up and handed me my check. I brought the check to the cashier and she asked me to completely fill out the check which she meant tap I explained to her I don’t even believe she should get a tip but I still dead of course and the woman behind the counter could really care less all she said was I’m sorry. I don’t for see myself ever coming here again.

Great food and waitress always have a smile on their face. I will be back several times

Holy sh** literally the worst service of all time. We sat for 27 minutes without even being greeted. Then watched two tables get sat 10 and 14 minutes after us. They got their drinks and still no one had greeted us. When the girl finally came 30 minutes later, she had an attitude when one guy took 8 seconds to order his drink. She literally said «come on let’s go». The guy waiter came next and was riding US as if we had been the reason they were so late. There were literally 5 tables sat in the restaurant. He kept being snippy and saying «come on guys» as we were ordering. It is now 55 minutes later and we just barely ordered… Wow.

The night shift is rude ! In the morning I came back for breakfast I asked for special meal they said you get what you see on menu.

Where to begin. Well for brunch this morning I decided to buy coworkers breakfast including myself of course. I ordered over the phone everything went great but, when I opened my Togo order that was suppose to be a «Fit loaded egg white omelette with fruit and Gluten free muffin», I got a egg omelette (not loaded, hash browns and white bread with butter.
I thought they may have misunderstood or had a lot on there hands so I went back to have it corrected, and after waiting 5mins they brought me my Oder. I thought that was a bit fast to re-​cook the egg white omelette so of course I checked it before leaving, and what I saw was unbelievable. The same egg omelette, same white bread, they just added the seasonal fruit.
At the end I just got my money back. There Togo orders are a no no for me. Dinning in however is a different story but, this experience doesn’t do them justice!

Nice and clean place. This is the only food place within walking distance of my hotel so I had dinner and breakfast here. Last night I had the tilapia dinner and it was delicious. This is a no frills, fast diner food. Nice and quick service.

Would have had more stars if Denny’s would have hired more help. Harold was all by his self still was very inviting, friendly and knowledgeable. Promptly took our order and the kitchen promptly cooked our food. Food was hot and good. Restrurant was clean.
As for the coffee I am an old Retired Navy guy and I know about sailor coffee but what Denny’s was serving was beyond that. I asked Harold for a fresh cup and he provided it. That was much better.

This hit the spot for us. Seating and service were prompt, the food was prepared and cooked to our specifications and Moe was an excellent waiter. After a long day’s drive and anticipating an early wake-​up in the morning, Denny’s did not disappoint. I think the 1-​star critics people had jet lag. Ours was spot-​on.

Came in for a midnight meal and had to wait 15 mins just to get seated even when there is no one before us. The service was rusty and the waiter is not even knowledgeable about the menu.
I wouldn’t plan on coming back at least to this particular Denny’s.

Came in after for a late meal after a long drive. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table because the hostesses were a little disorganized. Finally got our table and our server Moe, was nice but just seemed he didn’t want to be there – probably because it was late.
Ordered a turkey sandwich with clam chowder and my daughter ordered the FitSlam which had egg whites, spinach, toast and bacon. Orders took a while and were made with too much oil. My daughter had to have them redo hers because it was just swimming in oil.
Didn’t really enjoy the meal. They do offer 10% military discount.

The service is great here. We’ve been 3 times and were lucky to get Jamie as our server all 3 times. She’s always on top of our order and the food has always came out great! This is the only Denny’s we visit in Irving!

Had the ultimate omelette. Very good work fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly… and inadvertently credited to a different Denny’s the first time. Hopefully they are just as good.

Handful of people eating there, so I pulled up a chair at the counter. It took them 7 minutes to even greet me. Another 8 for the milkshake. Awkward silence the entire time.
When I asked for it to go, she just brought me a cup and walked it off. Didn’t even say a word.
lmao woooooooow. worst customer service I’ve ever had. like why would I even tip you for being so stuck up and unfriendly? Geesh

Pig barn. Crappy service and a filthy diner. Should of left after sitting at a table that was sticky. Wait staff wouldn’t help each other. It took us 90 minutes to get 4 pancakes and a glass of water.

Food always good but had an amazing waitress, Misty This morning!!! She was so positive and sweet to us! Thank you Lord for great folks!!!

Food is great, it’s 24 hours and it’s not a gross Denny’s. It’s a good, not-​gross Denny’s.

This place is great because it’s literally the only restaurant around the area + it’s 24 hours.
We went on Christmas Day after spending the day at Gaylord Hotel. This place sure was busy! They had 2 servers and the place was packed!
Food was okay, I’ve had better at other Denny’s. They were out of a lot of things because it was Christmas and no truck delivery that day. I felt really light headed and sick after eating my food though :(Don’t know if it was a coincidence or???
Anyway, our food took forever to come out but it was understandable because they were waaaay understaffed! Like I said, 2 servers and a full restaurant! I give this place a 3 though ONLY because our waiter was so nice and pretty much ran around everywhere to make sure all of his tables (which was literally half of the restaurant!) were accommodated!

This is … Denny’s, so really, no surprises! I typically don’t review these chains but I liked this specific location because they accepted the American Airlines voucher I was given for «involuntary travel interruption» aka missed connection due to flight maintenance. It is located across the street from a motel that also accepts AA vouchers. I definitely appreciated being able to eat something at 1a after a mess of a day traveling and still not making it home.
Don’t hesitate to order food to go – they are pretty efficient at that. I opted to eat there in the restaurant as it was far less depressing than eating in my motel room. If you dine in, Shirley or one of her colleagues will take of you, just be patient and you may want to ask if the kitchen is out of anything before you order based on what I observed at other tables.

I had a hotel in this area (about a mile away). So I walked to this location across the freeway since I was a dummy and opted to not rent a car this trip to Dallas. Duh!
The location was seated by many travelers or truckers because everyone was a solo diner. I was going to find something different than a burger and sandwich and normally when I visit Denny’s because that is what they do best. I wanted something more hearty thought so I went with the Bourbon Chicken Skillet. The dish came out quickly which surprised me, this made it obvious that everything came premade out of a steam table. That’s fine. The dish came out on this scolding hot on this skillet which held its heat for at least ten minutes. Each time I took a bite of the items closest to the bottom I burned the roof of my mouth. Hey at least it was hot. I found myself looking for some bread though and wanting to squish the chicken breast between some backed flour and such.
Service was prompt. Does not seem like a locals joint since it is right of the highway and near many hotels but it will do the trick. Stop by and see Moe.
