Shitty place run by shitty people! Every penny u spend on it is jus waste! All the good reviews are just given by employees and friends becoz they were forced to do so!

Went here because of a groupon, it was easy to get to(next to Target in Irving). First off, it is NOT Indian food but Nepali, so there are a few dishes that wont seem traditional to those who eat Indian food. Second it is very much a mom and pop operation with one guy cooking all the food and serving so dont expect anything to happen too quickly. There are only 10 tables inside and that seems to be the max they can handle here. If you are in a hurry, i suggest you try someplace else. If you have time for a nice leisurely mesl youll do just fine. As for the food, it was wonderful. Rice and main dishes were delicous, samosa and vegetable pakora was tasty, and there were many things there my wife and i hadnt seen in more traditional Indian places. All the meat and chicken dishes were cooked just right. But nothing was bad and the spices were tasty without being overpowering. We will definitely return.

I absolutely do not recommend this place. I should have turned around and walked out the door when I walked in and it was dead on a Saturday night. The wait time was terrible. They didn’t have the desserts I wanted. When I got home, I tried to eat the chicken curry. I asked for it to be medium because I am not a fan of burn your turn spicyness but I can handle a little bit of heat. There was absolutely no flavor. The gravy tasted like water, the chicken was still a bit pink inside. It was just awful. I hate wasting food but I had to toss it in the dust bin. I got the chicken momo. Because what Nepalese place can get chicken momo wrong? The answer… This place! It was awful. The dumping itself wasn’t fully steamed and the filling was maybe… The size of the end of a pencil. It wasn’t enough to fill up my 5 year old and she has a small appetite. I’d stay away!

My white boyfriend can cook better food than that. If you’re looking to try out this place use a discount because it is not worth it when full price. The food was not very warm and most of their«buffet» was rice. The samosas and the panneer were good but honestly you can’t really ever go wrong with fried dough and cheese. We won’t be coming back here. Although the guy was very attentive and polite the food still liked flavor and freshness. To be honest this was more on the Indian side than on the Nepalese side

Nepali Fusion is yet another Nepalese restaurant in the already crowded Irving marketplace. When I heard the name, I felt excited as it could be something different than what we already have in the area; may be a brainchild of some creative chef/restauranteur who had seen what is lacking in the other Nepalese restaurant and finally decided to fill that void. My excitement was short lived. Upon dining, I felt it wasn’t a brainchild rather something created by child’s brain… an idea that wasn’t well thought and executed even worse. The place upon entering looks nice and clean, a tad dark because of the cover on the glass. The owner was nice and welcoming. The restaurant being small, the placement of buffet trays on counter-top were awkward and inconvenient. It doesn’t work especially for kids and even grown-up children. The Saturday lunch buffet was filled with stale items and most of them were cold, meaning they didn’t even think of reheating the stale items properly. Someone below said the trays were like 20% full, it is true especially the meat trays which were lacking meat pieces and just filled with gravy… what a shame for a restaurant that recently opened. The most astonishing thing was that the rice was stale, how could you do? You get basmati rice for less than $ 1/lb when you buy in bulk. The food being cold and stale didn’t have any taste, there was nothing Nepalese about it nor I saw anything remotely resembling fusion. Saying that the food was majestically mediocre would be an understatement. Here is a tip: for the size of restaurant and Nepalese diaspora in the area DROP the buffet and concentrate on the menu items; it might just work.

Clean. First off it is clean way better than Everest. Momo is 10⁄10. Aloo chop 10⁄10. Served prawn for free with chai(cheya). For veg ppl don’t eat prawn it is fish chips. Good food, feels like home cooked. Will be back.

New place still trying hard to get its operations in order. Did not have Naan and when i asked was told they do not provide it for the lunch buffet. Apparently you can request Roti, but was not told about it. Expensive for the quality/quantity of food.

This place deserves one star. For the service, the food, and the price. First of all, «Nepali Fusion» is a deceiving name: this food is fusion-something, but not really Nepali. Second, the buffet was half empty. Like, it really didn’t have any food, and we were still charged full price. No naan. Really? The place was dark, and the seating set up was weird, not good for accommodating many people. Last but not least, we were charged for lunch in excess of $ 10 per person. Speechless. I really don’t know how this place will survive — in fact, I am sure it will not. Avoid.
