Definitely the best«Irving» has to offer, so far. Well flavored, non-fatty, aromatic broth is the standard which I rate Phở by and Empire has decent broth. My local standard is Phở Pasteur in Richardson. Roomier than your average Phở house with typical, dated décor. Missing little sauce bowls to make my Vietnamese ketchup – hoisin and sriracha, but passable otherwise. Nice and quick service. Food quality acceptable, but could be better.

I had the grilled salmon with steamed rice and added an egg. This dish was so good! Plenty of vegetables and salmon was cooked to perfection. I loved the dish and will be coming back very soon! :)

I don’t know why I haven’t came here any sooner. I really like the broth for phở. Tremendously fast service. Took a bit to get our waters refilled at one point, but that’s okay. There are many options to choose from on the menu. This place has a homey feeling. I would totally recommend this to others!

My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch during a weekday. Two of them are Vietnamese and they approve of this place. The place is huge, so we had no problem of being seated right away. However, the interior is outdated. They could really use some remodeling. As for food, I ordered my usual, phở with eye of round and beef flank. It was pretty good and I would go back for it. Prices are also decent for the portion size. Service was typical of any other phở place… subpar compared to other sit-down restaurants.

This is a 2 star place at best. The prices are decent but the level of the food is not there. I ordered extra meatballs with my phở asked if they put them in he said yes I had one meatball They did a good job refilling my water but when I have to wait in line to pay my bill behind people that are placing take to go orders infuriates me

Phở was good. The restaurant was a little dirty. It was my first time. I enjoyed the beef and brisket phở. The meat came out perfectly and the broth was quite savory. A for food. D for cleanliness. I’ll go back for sure

Had a great lunch in Irving Coming from California I consider myself a expert on all things Phở related. I have this place bookmarked for when I’m in the are if that says anything about how good this place is.

Best Phở place in Irving, period. I’ve been eating here since the restaurant used to be called Phở Republic. Service is extremely fast. However, lately the wellness of the noodles has not been consistent; sometimes it is overcooked and a few times it has been undercooked. I almost always get a large order of Phở Empire, which includes all the different types/cuts of meat; it’s a great value because it’s the same price as if you ordered a large phở with select types of meat. If you start becoming a regular here, make sure you get a punch card!

The location and the inside of this place is really nice, just down the street from Irving Mall. Very welcoming and calm place inside! I came with my sister to get some phở, she ordered the chicken and I ordered the beef phở. The phở is good enough to be considered a good phở place but I have definitely had way better phở(@ Somphou Market on Illinois in oak cliff) The service is ok, definitely not the best, all the tables around us were dirty from all the customers that had left and were not cleaned up immediately. Regardless, I would definitely come again due to to the fact that it’s very inexpensive… if you are craving phở, it does the job… I ordered two drinks, an order of spring rolls, egg rolls, and two phos all for just $ 23! On top of all of that they also have other menu items… lots and lots to choose from!

Probably one of the better phở places in Dallas. Or from the ones I’ve tried anyway. I once got the biggest bowl of phở. I couldn’t finish it. I typically go for their rice dish that comes with grilled pork, grilled chicken, shredded pork and an egg loaf. Fills you up and comes with a side of broth. Can get a bit pricey, but the portions are huge.

The place is much bigger than you’d expect. Huge bowls. Very good broth. They need to clean the vents overhead because the dust hanging if kinda gross. Floor is VERY slippery when wet!!! Prices are good! One small, one large bowl of phở and some vegetarian wraps $ 18 before tip. Would return.

Delicious Phở… broth was amazing and the meats were tasty. The meatballs in the Phở Empire were very flavorful. The prices are great and the food flys out very quickly. We also got Spring Rolls that were tasty with a really good peanut sauce. I will absolutely go back there!

Highlights — Probably lives up to being the«best phở in Irving» — Great phở at a great price — Incredibly fast service — Cutely decorated I first went to Phở Empire on a phở craving. It was repeatedly mentioned to be the«best phở in Irving», and while I haven’t tried enough of the local competition to make a statement, it certainly holds its own West of the Dallas North Tollway(most of the good phở seems to come from the Plano/Richardson/Garland area). I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner and their service is always incredibly fast. After ordering you can expect your meal to arrive within 5 – 10 minutes(great for a workday lunch) and their meals are very reasonably priced. Their large bowls of phở run about $ 7.45(enough to fill me up) while the extra large will punish your stomach for only $ 8.45. The vermicelli I tried was also pretty good and fairly sizeable for the price. Overall, definitely a good spot for phở if you’re in the area. The phở will certainly be enough to fill any phở craving you might have.

Pretty darn good eats, and a whole page of veggie options. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. It’s larger than you think inside, so there’s lots of seating. It’s located in the strip mall with Tom Thumb. We ate a veggie bun(rice noodle bowl) and a veggie phở, and we’re both happy. Nice flavors and decent portions. We’ll be back!

One of my favorite restaurant to go for some nice, hot phở. This hole in the wall place has perfect food for any season. Not only are their phos great but their appetizers aren’t bad either, I love their spring rolls and shrimp skewers. The quality of food for that price is unbeatable. I deff suggest everyone that lives around DFW to try this place.

I’ve heard about Phở Empire from several colleagues, and decided on a whim to try it out on the way to DFW International on a Sunday. I knew that I was going to require the order to be a take out one, so my expectations weren’t terribly high(nor low) for this restaurant. For starters, the restaurant appears to be quite larger than it seems to be from outward appearances. This is a good thing! I noticed several families of 8 – 9 members having Sunday brunch, to which the tables weren’t joined or jumbled together. There was also an additional room for private gatherings located on the right side of the restaurant. Further, there was a small courtyard area that contained a small fountain and medium-sized hot tub type of structure(hard to describe). Looked nice, as well as unique. You don’t see this sort of set up at many Vietnamese restaurants. Reminded me of a small palace on the inside, in a way. Now, the food. The menu choices seem to be varied, as well as sufficient. I’m more of a soup person, so I did have the expectation of seeing such favorites as a Nam Viet or other Brisket type of soup. I chose the latter this time. The soup was prepared within 10 minutes and placed in a large paper bag with two sets of chopsticks. While I received the plum sauce, I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t receive the traditional red spicy sauce(forgot the name). While the guy at the counter seemed to be more than accommodating by offering me reasonable upsells of drinks and ice cream, the female that received my payment looked a bit disinterested in being at the restaurant. Oh well, sometimes you have a bad day. No biggie with regard to Miss Frumpy Face. I wound up eating my soup an hour later due to making other stops along the way into DFW(pain in the a** entering from Highway 114, FYI). I was quite amazed that the soup was still hot, which was evident that the kitchen took great care in preparing it for transport. Normally, I would have to heat up soup after 20 minutes for some reason. Not today. Overall, I could learn to love this place whenever I’m in Irving by Northgate Street. So glad that the Empire didn’t «strike back» later that evening via the use of Pepto Bismal. Thank you, Phở Empire!

Hands down the very best Vermicelli bowl I have had in DFW… nothing else even close(and I have done FW, South Arlington, Haltom City, even Watauga for Vy’s Phở, another favorite)! Was taking care of some business in Dallas, and found Phở Empire on Unilocal for snack on way home to Keller… LOL, how else do you find great food in our community? But i digress… Was in the mood for Phở, but at last minute decided on the Vermicelli bowl with pork and egg roll… OMG…the pork was nothing short of amazing!!! Wonderful grilled flavor. And the cutriments to the bowl were all wonderful, egg roll perfect. Service was attentive and professional. And the atmosphere was nice… clean, pleasant. I have found that Vietnamese places are typically good or really good… if they are still in business. But honestly, Phở Empire is the first I would make the 30 minute drive from Keller to dine at… for a first visit they rank Excellent in my book, and I plan to enjoy dinner there very soon!!!

I havent had their phở yet but I have had their vermicelli twice now. Portions on the V1 are huge! I got the V5 the second time and it had bbq pork with grilled shrimp in it. Vermicelli was okay! I like to get their che suong sa hot luu. Sometimes they give you too much of the green jello and I dont like that. Service was friendly. I work nearby so we come often because there are no other decent Vietnamese restaurants around.

Mmm, phở. I like the P19 or P20, whichever is the phở with the flank steak. I think this is the best phở place I’ve had in the DFW area(only tried about 6 places, but still.) The food is flavorful, the portions decent, and the price pretty reasonable. They have an extensive menu also and it’s a bit overwhelming to see it at first, but I like that they took the time and effort to put descriptions of the different items for everything on it. Perfect cold weather food. And not-cold weather food also…

Food(4⁄5) Boyfriend and I stopped by for Friday lunch around noon, and we were seated immediately. Business really started picking up when we were about to leave around 12:30pm. He ordered an XL bowl of phở, and I ordered a L bowl of phở with an egg roll appetizer. The appetizer was okay. Nothing super memorable, and I probably won’t order it again. However, the phở was delicious. Meats aren’t bad quality cuts. Noodles are fair in quantity for the size ordered(~$ 7-$ 9). Broth is not overly oily, so you don’t feel disgusting after drinking it. Pro tip: add some lime into the broth to bring out more flavor! Service(4⁄5) The phở was brought out super quickly — I would wager less than 5 minutes? Waters were refilled constantly. We even had a special request for more limes, which was promptly fulfilled. Atmosphere(3⁄5) The restaurant space is okay. Majority is table seating and can accommodate large parties by bringing tables together. Nothing else was memorable but it felt like an old space. Bottom Line Delicious phở in the Irving area with fair prices given the quantity received. As this is close to my house, I will definitely be back.
