Phở was good. The restaurant was a little dirty. It was my first time. I enjoyed the beef and brisket phở. The meat came out perfectly and the broth was quite savory. A for food. D for cleanliness. I’ll go back for sure

Fast, friendly, reasonable price, authentic Vietnamese phở and rice combination place. Ate here for a few years now.

The phở and Boba drinks are good! Service is okay. Language barrier, FYI! They tend to get busy during lunch rush hour.

First time eating at this establishment and I’m so mad I have to give my very 1st bad review. I’ll hit the positives first. The server was very friendly. The food came out fast. It was delicious. Now for the negative. I ordered a strawberry bubble tea. I was informed they were out. Cool no problem but don’t ask me if I still want it if you don’t have it. As I’m eating my delicious #56 meal I see a bug floating in my broth. So the waitress came over and apologized and asked if I was alright… no, I’m not alright I can’t eat cause there’s a bug doing laps in my bowl. So of course they comp my meal but I didn’t get anything else I got up and left. If it wasn’t for that bug and them not having the bubble tea, it would’ve been perfect!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this phở place out since we usually go to Phở Empire down the street, and we were not impressed at all. When we first walked in they were beyond rude to me let alone to my boyfriend, given I’m Asian and he isn’t. The table they sat us at still had food smeared on the table along with the chairs and when I asked to switch tables the server said some very rude remarks in Vietnamese under her breath not knowing I understood what she was saying. When I asked to talk to the owner, she said she was the owner and very sarcastically apologized. Food and drink wise was horrendous. Our Bobba was extremely sweet with giant chunks of ice when it was blended. The phở soup was good but the amount of meat and noodles in it couldn’t have even fed my 3 year old daughter successfully. I couldn’t wait to leave this place, and when we left I made sure I didn’t tip. I grew up and have run a fully functional restaurant in Houston and couldn’t believe that someone in the service industry would be that rude to someone paying them for their services.

I was a loyal customer for a good while, until today. The hot tea I ordered was so horrible that it gave me a headache. I told the waitress about it which told the person in charge. The waitress told me that I was being charged $ 1 for the tea anyway. That $ 1 will go a long way indeed, because I’m not going back. I took care of the waitress anyway because I knew it wasn’t her fault. I run a business, so I know what $ 1 can do for a client. PR-101

I use to be a regular here. They were not really friendly even though they recognized me and the water tastes like old pipes. The phở was good until the last time I went; it was watered down. Their chicken spring rolls were good. The fish tank is always dirty with no decorations.

Excellent food! One of my favorite places to eat! Don’t be offset by the weird exterior but enjoy the great food! If I could come here every single day I would! :-)) Excellent food! Went here for the first time on Sunday and ordered a smal phở(#21), and a mango bubble tea. I attempted to order a bahn mi, but they said they weren’t serving sandwiches today. The broth was good, and there was a good amount of meat, I would say it’s pretty much on par with Phở Empire(down the street). The mango bubble was good, perhaps a little too much tapioca balls, but good flavor. So overall, food was good, not great, but I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to taste the Bahn Mi.

Been here twice now, but it’s really only just ok. Prices and serving sizes are good, service is very good. However, the flavor just isn’t there. The broth is missing a lot of richness, almost as if it was a vegetarian base, not a beef base. The beef pieces are ok but the tendon and tripe are undercooked. The tendon should melt in your mouth, instead you need to really chew. Also the pork spring rolls were all noodles, There was not enough pork to cover even one side. I gave them a second shot, but I won’t be back.

Please do not let the look of the outside exterior or parking lot concern you,… this is Irving after all. Once you get past the harsh exterior. This establishment is a diamond in the rough. I found this to be a great friendly, family run business. This was my first time to have Phô, and I loved it, our waitress was very pleasant and patient, I had a lot of questions! I ordered number 14 a beef filet mignon. And loved every last bit.

I go to this place every weekend. The food is good but lately they are changing their ingredients so its not the best anymore. I used to always get the 118 chicken curry but the last time i got was the last time i order that plate. The staff are friendly, but some are not too good in english so you need to talk slowly and clearly. I also like their bubble tea green tea is the best. The food is not pricey. I would recommend this place if your a fan of Viet food.

There’s only two phở places near where I live. This place and phở empire. This place is definitely better than phở empire. Phở wise. The broth was good and not overwhelmed with msg. I usually do not like phở but their phở is good. Décor wise and cleanliness looks run down and dirty. Don’t expect any good service. I would comeback because of the quality of the food and cheap price

I go to eat phở here quiet a bit. I love it because it is just the way i like it. I have tried many phở places but I don’t know what it is about the phở here that I keep coming back! I have also tried their spring rolls. Those are pretty awesome as well. Maybe I will try some other things but for now I stick to #31! Great family owned business!

A favorite lunch SPOTFORME ! I sneak away by myself as I have no adventurous eaters in the office! So here’s my take on the GEM crispy egg rolls excellent, phở broth is clear and full of flavor! I’m a big fan of TENDON and this place delivers not 1or 2 pieces like most JOINTS but 6 or 7 nice size bites! Here’s my take LOADUPYOURBOWLWITHJALAPEÑOSTOADDANOTHERLAYEROFFLAVOR don’t eat right away set it aside long enough to finish your EGGROLLS and the pour in the remaining fish sauce that came with the VEROLLS then enjoy HOGGYSTYLE #GETUSOME

A nice, clean and spacious place with friendly staffs. The chicken broth that I asked with tofu Phở was flavorful and noodles was cooked just right. It didn’t have vegetables as I expected nonetheless the Phở was alright, not the best though. I was disappointed with the veg spring rolls; too big with a lot of noodles and large tofu pieces but less veg. Not the very best Phở in town but a good option to go with friends and family.

This place looked clean and the food was awesome. I had the Bahn Mi and egg rolls, and Taro flavored Boba tea. My only complaint on the first trip is that the tapioca pearls were a bit tough and irregular in size, so they kept clogging the straw. Weird. It was still good though. I will eat here again, but next time no tapioca pearls. * Update I went back ordered some Phở to go on a later trip. They gave me the broth and then stuffed everything else into a separate carton, which would have been fine, except that the meat was totally raw, which I did not know about until I got to my destination. By that time the broth was not hot enough to cook the meat. NOGOOD! Never get Phở to go here unless you make sure they cook your meat first.

This little, authentic Vietnamese Restaurant hidden away in a shopping center is a refreshingly surprising place to grab a bite to eat. I have tried numerous dishes here and have to say that the #9, Bánh Mi Thįt Nuóng(Grilled Pork Sandwich) is absolutely delicious. It is a very simple yet flavorful sandwich that is mixture of it’s French and Vietnamese heritage, and at only $ 3.50 you cannot go wrong with ordering two. I highly encourage you to try this little eatery, it is well worth the visit.

Best Vietnamese food I’ve had in TX(can’t beat NJ Vietnamese food)! Great service and great crew that works at the restaurant. I haven’t had a bad meal here! I turned my sis onto Vietnamese food after I brought her here to try it for the first time. :) Highly recommend!

(12-21-2012) My first Phở experience. Pretty good. Tender beef & tasty broth. Added lime, basil, bean sprouts, and both pepper sauces. Had the Phở with, tenderloin, flank, tendon & crunchy beef fat.(#24)
