I tried snappy salads for the first time today and the prices were high. I also didn’t get the taco meat on my taco salad but didn’t see it until I got home. I have an 8 months old baby who didn’t have the patience to go back and get the order fixed. When I asked about the difference in half and full size, they didn’t mention that a full would feed 2 – 3 people. So I ordered two full salads and a cup of soup for $ 36 when my husband and I were looking for average sized salads. I was missing meat on one salad, so I got a big container of lettuce that didn’t look so hot. The quantity is good, but they should really warn people about the size. Half and full obviously mean different things to different people. What a waste of money.

The seared tuna salad was delicious. I like the wasabi peas and the crunch factor. Though it was satisfying, I don’t think it was worth $ 15. The portion of tuna was very small. It is nice to have a healthy lunch place, but overpriced in my opinion.

Snappy Salads is A-OK. I created my own salad, since it was about $ 10 for almost unlimited«basic» toppings. If you want proteins(other than beans), you pay extra — more than I care to. The $ 10 deal is the best deal money wise. It’s speedy, fresh, healthy fast food — it’s what you want when you want«good for you» fast food. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. For all of the different items that I got in my basic salad, it was a bargain. The other salads on the menu sound awesome, but the prices are much higher than I’d pay. Vinaigrettes are surprisingly easy to make, and I am the queen of fancy salads, so I could easily beat the price of their fancy salads by making them at home. But, as stated, when you’re on the hunt for something healthy and fast, and simply don’t have time to stop by the grocery store, this is your place. A bowl shaped to-go container would suit the salad better. My to-go salad was squashed in a box shaped container, so I had to put it in a bowl at home in order to toss it. When I’m travelling, or just having a super busy day, I’ll stop by again.

I’m from California and always miss a good salad. Well I’m not missing it anymore! This place has one of the most delicious salads I’ve ever had! The grilled avocado salad was amazing! My initial thought was,“If this tastes as good as it looks I’m going to be addicted to this place.” Luckily it was even better than expected! The second time I ordered extra avocado and it can be a bit expensive but it’s worth it!

I love the food but the workers are awful. I’ve ordered to go twice and both times the order was wrong and not ready when promised. Also it takes 5 – 10 minutes for someone to even ask if they can help

Delicious!!! My second time here. First time I was mindblown by the flavors and creativity of my Yellowfin Tuna. I ordered the half size and if nobody was around I would have licked the bowl… amazing Second trip was an interesting experience. I figured let me try something different… I realized that if you order the FULL portion you get the same amount of protein as the HALF portion. So pretty much your playing extra for salad leaves… so that was upsetting. On the bright side, the customer service was and I’m still is impeccable!!! Polite and helpful employees. The gentleman who was cleaning the tables, politely took my empty bowl and offered to bring me a bag and extra dressing for my togo portion. …THATMADEMYDAY!!! 5STARSALLTHEWAY. I would have given 4 stars due to unfair portion size and price. My tuna was extremely small(like super super small) for a $ 15 meal. Next time I would order create your own for $ 7… felt like I ate a vegetarian portion anyway…

I forgot to bring something for my department’s potluck lunch, so I ran in here today(it’s just up the street) to get a salad. Their website said the Grilled Avocado was their«#1 selling salad,» so that’s what I ordered. I hurried back to the office and set it on the table for everyone to enjoy … only to discover that the«grilled» avocados and tomatoes were badly burned, and there was no «red leaf» lettuce to be found.(Instead, there was plenty of *black*-leafed, rotten-looking romaine.) It was an unappetizing mess, and not surprisingly, hardly anybody touched it. $ 13 for that disaster of a salad! Needless to say, I definitely won’t be going back to Snappy Salads, and I doubt any of my coworkers will go even once.

I love salads as a side or starter before an entrée, but I would never order one as a meal. That is until I found this place. My boyfriend and I were looking for a healthy meal after a workout and decided to try this place. I must mention that he absolutely hates salads, but he was willing to try it for health’s sake. The place is very clean and has an inviting atmosphere. I love their décor and how Eco-friendly everything is from the cups and straws to even the furniture. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The manager is so nice and professional. They have a wide menu and their ingredients are always fresh. I usually get the half steak salad, and it’s more than enough to fill me up. It is soooooo good! My boyfriend loves it as well. I could literally eat their salads everyday. The price isn’t bad for a large salad with fresh ingredients. I will say that during the lunch rush the line is out the door so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. I usually go for a late lunch and skip the line. If you’re on the fence about this place, try it! You’ll love it!

Chipotle has burritos, subway has sandwiches, and now you can get a custom salad. Snappy Salads is decorated in totally hipster, with«gathering tables» and cups made from corn. We shared the large buffalo chicken and added jalepenos, which was fantastic. You can choose from some of the great top salads or make your own. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is great. We can’t wait to try their soups.

Despite being a really frail looking short girl, I’m not a huge fan of salads at all. I usually refer to salads as «rabbit food» because I hate to pay money for a few chops of lettuce mixed with some other junk that grows from the ground. I’ve seen the popularity of this Snappy Salads location several times when driving around in the area and finally decided to give it a go when my boyfriend suggested it for a late lunch. I was really impressed by my first experience and came back about 3 times within the month. Yes, it was that good and yes, I don’t refer to salads as «rabbit food» anymore. During my few visits here, the staff have been nothing but friendly. The manager comes out often to greet dining customers and also gave us a few menu suggestions the first time we visited. I thought it was great how all the salads are able to be customized and come in different sizes(whole vs half). Another time we were here, an employee was cutting up steak that was fresh off the grill and offered me a piece before letting me decide if I wanted chicken or steak on my salad. The salad combinations are endless here and you will definitely be full from your meal. I usually go for a half size of the Grilled Avocado Salad and I usually change Iceburg for something else and add in chicken or steak. If you don’t want something in your salad, or you want to add something in, it’s super easy. I love the friendliness of the staff and I don’t feel like they judge me at all when I want to customize several aspects of my order. If you’re not a salad person, I think Snappy Salads will change you into one. I’m a pretty big carnivore, but I can always be in the mood for this place!

First visit to this chain. I am a regular at Salata, so had a reference for comparison. Couple reasons for the low star and none have anything to do with service. * Notwithstanding any comparison to Salata, this place is expensive. $ 10 for a half salad, really * Secondly they fill it with mixed greens and very little of the other actual veggies, that itself was a big turn off. All chain restaurants made better salads for this $$. Overall it’s not for me

I love the Greek half snap. I went for lunch and it was super crowded but went pretty fast and the service was awesome! But I went for dinner with my husband tonight and the service was not that great. The staff was confused and busy do other stuff. I’ll stick with going around lunch.

The food was good and service was great. This was actually a second visit to this particular location. We were looking forward to the Gaucho, but it was taken off the menu. With that off the menu, we changed to the Santa Fe chicken wrap and the grilled avocado salad. The wrap wasn’t as good as we’d hoped for, but the salad was still satisfying. Convenient location, parking, and healthy choices will probably bring us back again for another try.

Love Snappy Salads. I could not justify paying $ 15 for a salad for the longest time. This place was a game changer(also the fact I never had to pay the two times I’ve been thanks to team lunches). You definitely pay the premium, but the ingredients are so fresh and the dressing is amazing! You can order off the menu or make your own salad. Making your own requires a lot of decision making. I’m too indecisive for that. It also unknowingly adds up at the end. You could potentially get a $ 20 salad. If you like to go simple and order off the menu. I recommend the SAUTEEDSALMON. It is delicious! Add an avocado for $ 1. It makes all the difference and it’s really filling. Lunch hour is hectic. Be prepared for long lines. To avoid, walk up to the cashier and get your salad to go. The only reason I’m giving this place a 3⁄5 rating is because of service. We ordered the sauteed salmon and changed a few items, but the lady did not even look up/hear us/ask us. Then another employee kept asking which one was our salad. It’s hard to tell when they all look green and have no or less the same stuff in the beginning. At the end, they got my order wrong, but I didn’t want to go through the line again.

First, thank you to Ivory W. who posted an updated Snappy Salads review ~6 months ago. Her review introduced me to Snappy Salads and I haven’t looked back since. If you’re like me and love a great salad, continue reading. If you’re not a fan of a great salad, continue reading as this review might convert you. As many places do today, Snappy Salad uses a model similar to Chipotle where one walks along choosing the salad contents. And let me tell you, Snappy Salad has a large variety of choices. If decision making is something you struggle with, I advise going with one of their menu salads. Choosing a salad from their menu eliminates most(but not all) of the decision making. As with all of their salads, there is a choice of a small or large salad. And in you’re wondering, the small is a fairly large salad. So choose wisely. As for the menu salads, I’ve tried a few and by far my favorite is the«Grilled Avocado». I always add grilled chicken to mine(occasionally I’ll go with steak or salmon) It’s an amazing salad. The one thing I’m not a fan of is the«Snap Wraps». On one visit I decided to order one and was very disappointed to find the wrap was had already been prepared versus preparing it similarly to the salads. While it had a decent flavor I was turned off by the fact that it wasn’t prepared ‘on demand’. As a result I stick with the salads when visiting Snappy Salads. As mentioned in a few other reviews, Snappy Salads can be a bit pricey(when compared similar places) but that has not caused me to stay away. Beware this place gets crowded during the ‘lunch hour’. There is plenty of seating available; both indoor and outdoor(weather permitting).

Lunch had a long line but they are super quick and accurate. First someone met me at the end of the line to explain the menu. Not complicated. They have a list of signature salads & standards w/ingredients listed. Or you can create your own. They also have wraps, soups and naked potato. They even have a pick two combo available. Fresh bread & cookies. The half snap is more than enough. They are very generous. The ingredients are bright & fresh. I got the fried artichoke. Subbed pepper jack for the suggested goat cheese. No prob. They do the usual drop it in the bowl, mix & package for to go.(How I got mine). The lemon vinaigrette is AMAZING! It’s light & bright! I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes or LOVES salad like I do!!!

This was my first visit to a Snappy Salads, and I like what I saw here. I ordered the Yellowfin tuna salad, but with a couple of changes(no wontons or cucumber, and grilled avocado instead of raw). If there was a complaint at all, the final result was a little heavy on the wasabi peas, but I solved that really fast by just eating some of them as munchies before I stirred the whole thing up. The tuna was nicely seared but substantially raw(just the way it should be), the greens were crisp and that avocado… oh, my. It was so good. I took half of it with me as an afternoon snack, and it was good then as well. My friend’s steakhouse salad featured steak that was cut right as he ordered it, and he reported that the overall product was quite good. If there’s a knock on the place, it’s price. My dining partner and I frequently go to nearby Terra for the buffet, and we paid more for the salads than the big Mediterranean buffet. Still, if you’re aiming for healthy, this is a good place if you watch your ingredients and don’t load up on high calorie stuff.

I ended up deciding on a mini salad because I just wanted something to fill me up for lunch and I did not want leftovers of salad. I got artisan mix, grilled avocado, wasabi peas, broccoli, gorgonzola cheese, and cilantro lime vinaigrette. My salad combo was on point and a perfect lunch. I placed this order online a few hours in advance, and asked it to be ready by 12:30 and I only had to wait about a minute or so. The line was so long with the lunch rush so I am so glad I ordered my salad to go. I will be coming back!

The salads here are amazing. The only bad thing about this place is that there are so many ingredients to choose from that you can easily become indecisive in here. That is exactly what happened to me when I went last week. The options were endless. I decided to build my own salad. I ordered a half salad with 8 ingredients, grilled avocado, and sautéed salmon. The total was $ 16.50. I think that the prices are a bit high, but the salads are so delicious and fresh that the price won’t sway me away. The salmon that I ordered was extremely overcooked, so I won’t order the salmon again. The grilled avocado is the star of this place. I’ve never had it before and I didn’t hear of it until coming to Snappy Salads. The avocado has so much more flavor and it intensifies the salad bowl. I can’t wait to have another!

Today, during my quest to expand my Las Colinas lunch options, I stumbled upon the newly opened Snappy Salads! I’ve always said that I was going to try the location in Dallas, but never did. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had opened a location close to one of the places that I work in the LC! I knew that they had recently opened because everyone was super friendly and welcoming when I went in! Not that anything is wrong with this, quite the opposite, I appreciated it a lot. It’s just one of those things that I notice when going into a new establishment. I ordered the yellowfin tuna salad. Here’s a tip… no matter how hungry you are, don’t get the larger sized salad, the smaller one will fill you up, trust me. My salad was pretty good. They are a little stingy with the tuna though. All of the ingredients were fresh… the wasabi peas added a nice little kick too! Snappy salads also sells a nice chunk of bread and spread to go along with your salad. I recommend getting the Mediterranean dipping olive oil… real good stuff! I also enjoyed their black organic tea to go along with my salad rather than a regular soda. I’m so happy to have yet another great option for lunch when I’m working in Irving. MacArthur is littered with a lot of restaurants, but Snappy Salads adds a healthier choice to the mix. One last note, they also have some benches and tables set up outside just in time to enjoy the warmer weather coming up! Enjoy!
