I went to the 15th St location in Plano about a year and a half ago. I was in and out in 15 minutes. They are so incredibly friendly and professional. I was amazed. The reason I’m writing now is that I have moved out of state and need my films. In one phone call she was able to find my records, get the information, and took care of everything. This place is truly amazing and understand that this is not our favorite activity. They take care of you!

I have never been treated so badly by a doctor’s office as I was by this clinic. They left a message saying they saw something on my mammogram and needed my old films. It took me calling back 7 times before someone would return my call. Then it took another 2 weeks and numerous calls before I FINALLY got an answer back. All in all it took 25 days from the mammogram to the final result. I told them at my mammogram that my mother has metastatic breast cancer… and they made me wait 25 days. Terrible front office, lousy office manager, just lousy.

I realize this may be TMI to some of you by writing this review, but I do believe it is important to share even«personal» experiences on Unilocal.Yes, I am reviewing a mammogram! First of all, let me start by saying 12% of women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. That is 1 in 8 women! Again, ONEINEIGHT. Men, you have the number of 1%, so you are not exempt. Solis recently opened their business in Las Colinas Medical Center. The scheduling couldn’t have been easier. All online, it took about two minutes to make, and for the next day. Now, a mammo is definitely not something you look forward to, right, ladies? I wasn’t brimming with excitement and sweet anticipation. Nope, I was not. Do you lose your modesty during it? Yep. The employees, though, are very nice, respectable, and explained what all she was doing, all while making chit-chat to make you feel more at ease. Is it painful? No, it’s not. There are a lot of horror stories out there about mammos. It is uncomfortable, indeed. I mean, at one point I thought«It really can’t get any flatter than that»…then lo and behold, I saw it can get flatter! Pancake #1, and pancake #2! One day, a new piece of equipment will be invented that will make it much easier. Just hasn’t gotten there yet. The testing was finished within 5 minutes. Yeah, I made it through another mammo! What made this experience the best is, within 3 hours of the mammo, I received an email to report that the test was negative. No waiting for several days to get the report in the snail-mail. My «girls» are cancer-free and I had peace of mind quickly. A++
