Sonic Drive-In

I have been to a lot of Sonics across Texas and now we go to this location of Sonic a lot, since we live in walking distance.
The food is from Sonic, which is consistent. We mostly come for the drinks. Frankly, we don’t often get food at fast food or drive thru restaurant, but we do absolutely adore the Sonic tater tots!
The rating is mostly based on customer service.
I appreciate the staff’s kindness to my roller skating daughter and old dog that likes to find a sunny spot in the seating area.
I also appreciate their attentiveness to our usually complicated wheat free and sugar free orders. It is a nice neighborhood spot to break during a walk.

So, apparently an order of 3 shakes is really difficult. We waited 20 minutes. Twenty. It wasn’t even really busy either. Pressed the button to check up on the order, and it seemed like they didn’t even know what we were talking about. Finally brought them out and 2 out of 3 of them were wrong. Server was nice and brought out the manager on duty. She asked what was wrong with our order. We showed her that clearly, it was not right. A supposed brownie and cookie dough madness had no brownie. Looked like vanilla ice cream with a few cookie dough pieces on top. Didn’t look like anything was blended into it. She didn’t seem too concerned. Went and re-​made our shakes. She apologized, but wasn’t really sincere. I don’t think she really handled the situation appropriately. It was a pretty big waste of time and gas, since I had to leave the car running for twenty minutes.
