Had the rainbow trout the worst experience the fish was not cleaned. I was eating bones!

I’ve been coming to this resturaunt for years and I really have to say although the menu has improved and added more variety, the quality of food and service has dropped drastically. The place wasn’t packed at all and we only saw our waiter once every like 20 minutes. When we wanted the check, he was nowhere in sight, and the food took a long time to come out as well. I ordered the bang bang shrimp which was on the money as always, and the bread is always really good. I ordered the tilapia imperial, the portion size was extremely slow and it tasted like vomit as well. Horribly cooked with bad presentation. If I ever come here again I’m only ordering the kobe beef burger which never disappoints and it’s kind of sad a burger is the best thing to eat a seafood resturaunt.

They sat us quickly on a Saturday night with a full house but the service other wise was terrible. The waitress didn’t come for 15 minutes and we didn’t get our bread until after the meal arrived. Besides the service, the food was good. I got the grilled lamb with potatoes and broccoli. The lamb was a 6⁄10 and the sides were both very good. The bread was at least fresh when it came to the table. It was also pretty cold where we were seated and I needed a jacket.

First time going to this restaurant chain and this location. My friend chose this place for his bday dinner. The interior of this venue seems pretty spacious and seems pretty ‘classy’. Lighting is pretty dim, which is not bad, but I prefer more lighting as I like to photograph the food and that requires ample amounts of lighting. Staff of this restaurant are all very nice and friendly. They all smile, make good recommendations, and joke around a bit, which is a huge plus! For the food, the appetizers came out in decent amount of time but the entrees took a pretty long time to get to us. The Bang Bang Shrimp was simply amazing and delicious! I ordered the Spicy Tuna Bowl as my main entrée and it was not too bad. However, the tuna could have been better in my opinion. Everything in the entrée seems to mix together really well except for the salsa, it was a bit too too sour in my opinion. As for everyone else in the group, they all seemed to enjoy their entrees and food as well. Overall, a pretty good and different experience! Will def. come back in the future!

Been there many times. Great food and atmosphere. Sea bass is so delicious and of course can’t start the night without some bang bang shrimp. So tasty.

This place isn’t very special the food is decent, and the service the same. But if you’re close might as well give it a try

The Bonefish Grill is highly overrated. I would give them 2-stars, but I will admit that the Bang Bang Shrimp is worth coming for. I’ve been here for lunch and dinner, and neither time was very impressed with the selection. This time we went for brunch. I had heard how the Bonefish was famous for bottomless mimosas for brunch, so why not… but not at this one… $ 5 a pop for what turns out to be mostly orange juice… too bad.

Enjoyed the bang bang shrimp. Crab cakes were delicious as also the Lobster bisque. Did not relish the fish n chips. My first visit. Would certainly like to new dishes next time. One more thing. The service was so fast it appeared we were at a fast food restaurant.

Came with a group of friends. I have never been to this chain before. I ordered the Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout. I didn’t love it but it’s not bad. I heard great things about the Chilean Sea Bass. It tasted really good with the mango salsa. We also shared the Bang Bang Shrimp, which tasted really good with the salad too. I had the spirit-free Specialty Fresh Blackberry Smash. It was so good!!! lemon, blackberries, club soda and some other things and it was sweet and refreshing. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t drink alcohol!

Absolutely great lobster roll. If you like lobster you’ve got to taste it. Nice service too.

The food quality in this location is subpar and service much to be desired. Came in Nov 2014 for brunch — the sangria was not refilled. Came for new years eve — lobster was not fresh and meat stuck to shell. Came in july 2015 for dinner, the salad dressing was all congualated cheese and the breading fell apart on the bang bang shrimp. BIG disappointment

Came here last night for my birthday dinner… was craving some seafood, specifically calamari and lobster. My friend forewarned me that this specific location wasn’t what it use to be and boy was she right. The once tender, flavorful calamari was now tough as ever… very hard to eat, in fact we sent it back and refused another order for the fear it would be the same. As far as the portions for entrées are concerned, they def downsized… for the same price of course. I ordered the twin lobsters with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes, not only was the portion much smaller than I remembered but the veggies were hardly cooked. Another thing I found funny was the bread that they offer… charging a table of 5 $ 1 for extra bread… when they give the same amount to a table of two. Safe to say I’ll be finding another seafood restaurant to go to.

Years after my first visit to this Bonefish Grill, I am happy to report that I still really like dining here! I visited during the midst of the Blizzard of 2015 aka Juno and while Juno was disappointing in what it brought, many restaurants were closing down early based on the premise of what the meteorologists were predicting. We arrived in the snow storm and were told that we can dine in! Thank you dedicated employees for providing me with a place to eat!

Bonefish Grill was cool. The brunch was good because there’s an option to have unlimited drinks. But there needs to be more of a selection of entrées. Compared to other brunch spots I’ve been to, Bonefish is lacking. They should have waffles to complement the French toast. I had the California omelet for my meal and it was alright. The bang bang shrimp was the bomb.

Came here in the mode for fish and wanted to try something new. A new fish would have made me happy. The place interior is very attractive, dim, lots of earth tones. The establishment was PACKED on a Sat. night, our waitress seemed like she had a long evening but was pleasant. Their specials menu caught my eye so from it I ordered the Turbot my side and app. The waitress came back 5 mins later and told me that fish was sold out for the night. Reluctantly, I looked for another exotic fish. I choose to go with the Opah«Moonfish» which whose meat resembled the swordfish. 5min later the manager came over to tell me they were out of the Opah and felt terrible that I ordered two items in a row that was sold out.(Why wouldn’t the waitress know whats available or not available? Why let your customers go through the headache of picking a sold out fish) I laughed it off and teased the waitress by asking why she hates me so much. Well I ended up getting a SeaBass which was tasty. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a fish I never experienced but the kind manager attempted to make up for their mistake by taking off my drink and appetizer. I appreciated their generosity. A Lesson for Bonefish: If you will notify your staff what is available then Bonefish wouldn’t lose money by giving away free food and I wouldn’t have lost 20 mins choosing a fish.

Brunch Review: Their western omelette is amazing(get the au gratin potatoes for a side)! It’s a little spicy, but I am down with the spice. More importantly, the drinks. This Bonefish allows you to try any of the drinks on the unlimited bubbles list. I have been to another Bonefish that shall remain nameless: cough cough Secaucus cough cough: that if you choose a Bellini you cannot jump to Sangria. Iselin Bonefish was busy, but the drinks came at a decent pace. Do it!

Extremely surprised! I usually don’t like chain restaurants, especially seafood ones, like red lobster, I try to avoid at all cost! But after a shopping trip at Menlo Park Mall, my husband wanted to grab something to eat before heading home. He’s on this seafood thing… so bonefish it was. The restaurant was pretty empty, it was still early, the waitress was very nice and attentive, explaining the menu, specials, and wines. The complimentary bread was very good! We even asked for more, for appetizer we ordered the shrimp, calamari, and crab cake, all were very good. I was very surprised that the crab cake was actually lumps of crab, rather than shredded crab, like most restaurants, after pigging out on bread, and all the appetizers I could have cared less about my entrée, but I already ordered the sea base, thankfully it was a nice sizable piece, not too much, and for this being the first time I had sea base, it was deliciously! Very meaty, flavorful, and went well with all the dipping sauces they give you. I had it with garlic mash, and it was perfect! We also ordered the truffle macaroni & cheese, I wasn’t impressed, took one bite and didn’t touch it after that. I should have know better not to order that, or expect it to be good. But overall very impressed! Especially for a chain seafood restaurant.

I felt rushed. The bang bang shrimp was poorly prepared, the batter looked like crumble on the plate. Salads were decent. The lobster roll was awful! Too salty and made from the scraps of the claw meat. At the end a waiter sneezed into his hand then busted our left overs with the same left hand. Gross. He was kind enough to give a new order and comped us desert. All in all, not a good experience.
