Miller’s Ale House – Woodbridge

Miller’s had a great selection of beer, especially craft and local brews. A lot of massive TVs which made the beginning of March Madness awesome. We barely made a dent in the chicken nachos (4 people). Their daily specials are also a great value– delicious food, huge portions, well priced.

The servers are cool AF. Its mad chill for drinking beer n watching sports BUT The food is ehhhhh. stay Away from the mac n cheese its like weird cheesy noodle stew or something. Had me dipping garlic bread in my mac and cheese like it was some kind of side sauce smh

Hostess Brenda and server Laz were great. Had the Mahi Mahi Reuben. Great job. My buddy had the French Dip and it was really good. Awesome fries. Really a nice place.

I love this place, it used to be easy video where I would come to rent movies on a Friday night. They had beads hanging in the xxx adult section and I would sneak in a get a peek at some of the boobie and butt movies. Hehe

Place was packed and had a great beer selection, it seemed really awesome and the menu looked really good. Only problem, out of 3 bartenders no one would come by to take our order after 15 minutes. Service sucks and seeing all the managers just stand there watching football instead of watching the restaurant made it seem like no one cared. Won’t be coming back.

I’ve only been here once, and that’s one time too many. Service 2 stars, drinks 1 star, food 1 ½ star. I’m not sure what the draw is here. It was extremely crowded, but there was a football game on. I was not impressed, AT.ALL. My steak was mediocre, the loaded baked potato was small and lukewarm, broccoli was terrible. Let’s talk drinks… how do you mess up a lemon drop martini??? Seriously it was horrible, switched to Cosmo and might as well have just ordered a Cranberry juice on the rocks. Service. no comment, just a side eye.

I can only assume the excellent reviews come from people that know workers at the restaurant. I’ve been here a handful of times since it opened and I get the same results everytime. Decent food. Decent beer selection (that never seems to change) and Ansley abhorrent service. It ranks in the top one of worst service I’ve ever received on a consistent basis. 12 minutes since I finished my soup and the empty bowl is still sitting on the bar. Never given silverware or a napkin. And although you have three barmaids su all times, so haven’t been asked if I need anything. Food. Drink. Nothing. And it’s been like this everytime I’ve been here. Taking food to go? Just as bad. Maybe the others have low expectations. Not sure. But the place isn’t even it’s usual packed self tonight and the service is still awful.

This place sucks… been here a couple times and the food is meh. only thing they got going for themselves on the menu is the zinger mountain melt and that gets boring after the second time. Service is beyond horrible. Came on a Monday night for MNF and sat with an empty beer glass for half an hour before hounding down the bartender. You literally have to wave the bartender down while their on their phone. ZERO customer appreciation. Awkward crowd. Overpriced. Probably never coming back here ever again.

Surprisingly solid on all accounts. This place was HUGE, and at 6pm on a Saturday our party of 4 got sat right away. Has a buffalo wild wings feel inside, TVs everywhere, I will definitely come here for a PPV. The service was super friendly and helpful– our waitress did a great job.
The beer selection was amazing if you like IPA and wheat beers. I am more a stout/​porter fan, but will go for an ale, and I had plenty of selection on the later, but not the former. I was still able to find 3 I wanted to try, and they were all good.
The food was actually really good, but we didn’t go crazy. I had a burger and my buddy had a cheese steak. The ladies had fajitas and a bbq chicken flatbread. We also had wings (which we ordered hot and they smelled great, but were not spicy at all) and spinach dip. Everyone was happy. It’s a bar, order bar food. I’m not about to order the salmon here and tell you it was a Michelin star meal.
The best part was that 4 entrees, 2 appetizers, and maybe 10 beers came to $ 135. That is not bad at all. This place is great.

Went here yesterday with my friend and boyfriend and its was awesome. Great atmosphere, our waitress was super nice and attenitive and the food was amazing. One person n I had a cheesesteak which was cooked perfectly and the other just had french onion soup which was devoured in minutes. So glad this replaced the last place that was here. Definitely wilk be coming back.

Came here cause I love the one in Orlando FL this place is great for drinks and the zingers are amazing

Typical bar food but wings are tasty along with the loaded fries. Service was a bit slow for not having the place packed. But overall not bad will come back again.

Huge place. Mediocre food — had the fried seafood combo — not good. Some craft beer options with decent deals. Late hours — open til 2am.
I will say that our server was great — very attentive and friendly.
Love that their handicap bathroom stall has a sink in it!

Not sure why they have low reviews. I had a good experience. Went here for fathers day and ordered chicken and steak fajitas. I also got a pitcher of watermelon margarita which was really good and only $ 10! They had a ton of other varieties of pitchers like LIT, Blue LIT, Sangria, house margarita I think, and I think some more. It’s a sports bar and obviously it’s loud (lots of TV’s), dim, etc. Sports bars aren’t really even my thing but we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves and the food. The service was good too. She was attentive and very helpful. I’ll be going back.

Millers is awesome. The service & food both rock. We’re regulars now, the service has been the exact same since the first time we came there. Everyone remembers you & always recommends new drinks or food to check out. If you haven’t been here yet, it’s time you do. The garlic/​parm zingers, fish & chips are always fantastic.
For their 4^th of July specials, they offered this shrimp in a beer sauce that was RIDICULOUS! I wish they had it all year!

So I came here for the beautiful fire pits and decent selection of beers I’d heard about on a Saturday night.
The patio sucks. It’s pretty small. The fire pits were nice but there was no atmosphere at all.
The selections of beer was great, the food was pretty good to, but the staff were very rude. I work in a service industry, I know it’s been a long night and you want to go home, but your not doing me a favor by serving me.
I’m unimpressed

Came here for fathers day for the first time. Not too crazy busy. Was seated right away. I wanted to give them a try.
Pretty speedy service. Server was nice. She asked if we ever ate here, and we said it was out first time, but she didn’t say anything after that Lol I thought she was going to suggest something.
So the food. Kind of reminds me of Applebee’s. Same thing. We got the appetizer combo, comes with spinach dip, potato skins, mozzarella sticks.
We both ordered steaks. Filet mignon and rib eye. The steaks ehhhh! I thought we would be getting some really good meat since that’s what they are claiming to have… But it was OK. I ordered my rib eye medium well and my husband ordered his filet mignon medium, and the filet came out super well :(and my rib eye came out medium :(
We didn’t want to ask for a new one since our son was getting antsy with leaving and we didn’t want to wait for it to be recooked.
I don’t think I’ll eat here again, but I may come back for a drink tho since they have 20+ beers on tap

I stayed at the hampton inn across the parking lot last week so due to convenience I came here a few times last week.
Pros– they have a nice selection of beer and if you are looking to watch a sports game they have a ton of tvs and they have various sports packages so they can get all the games.
Cons– the food and service is mediocre at best. If I was to rate strictly on the food it would probably be two stars.
Basically if you are looking to go out have a few drinks and watch a game this is a good place to go. If you are going out strictly for a meal I suggest you go someplace else!

Ordered delivery from here while staying at the Hampton Inn next door. Not quite room service since they can only come as far as the lobby and then the concierge calls you out, but still better than venturing outside.
I ordered the build your own chicken burger, which comes with 3 toppings — I chose sautéed mushrooms, jalapeños, and guacamole. Super impressed that guacamole counts as 1 (it’s $ 2 at chipotle!). Price was fair ($ 10) and I subbed sweet potato fries for a buck.
Delivery was pretty quick — maybe 30 minutes? The 20% gratuity was also fair and much better than the usual hotel room service gratuity charges.
Food was pretty bad. The fries were decent (but soggy, which probably wasn’t their fault bc delivery), but the chicken was burnt and tasted funky… as did the mushrooms. I kind of just scarfed the food down bc I was starving. I’m adding 1 star for the service and delivery.

First time coming here and my first impression when I walked in was that this place could be successful. Then we had the food. Let me explain:
First things first. Upon walking in, you enter an attractive bar area with large windows. It was a beautiful day out and the windows were open, allowing a cool breeze to flow throughout the bar area. It was bright and welcoming and immediately made a good impression. They definitely have the aesthetic down right.
We sat down to be greeted by a friendly bartender who immediately put on the WVU vs Kansas game at our request. Next up, ordering our beers. Husband got the Shipyard Pumpkin Head Ale with a sugar cinnamon rim and I got the Kona Big Wave. Both are great. The beer selection is impressive and there are plenty of specials on the non-​craft beers. I like that this place caters to craft beer drinkers and regular beer drinkers. This place does a nice job of having good beers, a classy sports bar ambiance, but without being pretentious.
Then our mayor McCormac walked in, no kidding. I was going to say hi but didn’t react quick enough as he whizzed past into the restaurant area.
Husband ordered the potato soup bread bowl and it was ok, he said Panera Bread’s was better. I agreed. Then we ordered a chicken cheese steak and this is where problems began to arise. After waiting a while, they finally brought it out. I took a bite and realized it didn’t taste like chicken. Opened the sandwich to find steak ums. My husband doesn’t eat red meat so we had to send it back (not sure if steak ums qualify as meat, but anyways…). When the new sandwich came out it didn’t look like chicken so I asked the bartender/​server to be sure and she couldn’t tell either. So she showed and asked another bartender, then another, and no one could be sure. I’ve had a lot of chicken cheese steaks in my life and you can usually tell the difference just by sight.
I agreed to try it and let them know, so I took a bite and it seemed like chicken so we just took the sandwich at this point. It was the most below average chicken cheese steak we’ve ever had. So disappointing! It was greasy without much flavor and the chicken was like a weird flavorless chicken steak um if such a thing existed. I’m still not really sure it was chicken. It just wasn’t very good.
So– I want to like this place for the beer selection and overall aesthetic of the place, but I’m really unsure of the food. We will be back in hopes the next thing we order is better. I still have high hopes for this place and hope it will improve and be successful!

Tasteless food and watered down flat beer. Below average at best.
Also, when you order a bucket, all the beers are pre-​opened and that drives me nuts!

Ordered the Buffalo Shrimp «Hot sauce» and the shrimp were excellent. Not over breaded and a gracious amount. I should have just requested to toss them in extra sauce. I prefer them dripping with sauce.
Enjoyed a nice Dogfish 90 minute. Bar manager said they may be tapping a 120 here soon.
