Nunzio’s Pizzeria

As I write this I’m waiting for food ordered 35 minutes ago. I entered the restaurant 20 minutes after the order was placed. I was told it would take a couple of more minutes. 10 minutes later I inquire how much longer. The response given was «I told you a couple of minutes.»
The owner sensing my frustration began to defend himself falsely claiming the order was placed 5 minutes prior to when I entered and it takes time to make 4 sandwiches. When I pushed back stating the time the food was ordered, instead of being humble, the owner only got louder and more defensive.
I hope the food was worth the wait. The experience has put a bad taste in my mouth.

They use to have the best pizza in the area. Since the new owners it’s not the same :(

First time ordering here via GrubHub. Pizza was ready fast and instructions were followed precisely. Excellent job! Pizza was delicious and they even have whole wheat crust! Will be coming back again!

Its a great place to get good, quick and filling italian food. I go there on weekends and have really liked all the dishes that I have tried. Not a fancy place but a good place to have quick Italian food craving fix.

The best pizza in the area. Service is good, and food is always hot and delicious.

A must stop by for anyone in the area. Their wings are superb a hidden gem that’ll have you coming back. Ask for the «special wings, mix BBQ and buffalo sauce and then put on the grill». Guarantee you’ll want to come back for more, GUARANTEE. Other items which are great are the pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken roll, and their cheese burger. Whatever you do though pleaseee get the wings. Very friendly owner and staff as well!

Ordered a grilled chicken salad. It was way over seasoned with salt & the lettuce was bitter. There were 2 or 3 cucumber slices as opposed to a half of an onion. I didn’t have the pizza but it looked pretty good & fresh.

I am now half way through my Calamari Ala Marinara, and I must say, it is delicious. I ordered this meal from the Best Western Riverview for dinner this evening. They delivered within ½ hour, which was a surprise after viewing some of the reviews here.
That said, I am very pleased with this meal. It came with some soft and chewy Italian bread and a small salad. Very tasty. So, if you want simple affordable Italian. Go. I hope you won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t.

My last two orders have been extremely disappointing. Some of my order was never delivered, half of the order was incorrect and I ordered grilled chicken and they sent me completely burnt chicken that that was absolutely horrible. That was my absolute last time ordering from them.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because I like their pizza, otherwise it’d be one star for poor service. I’ve been going to Nunzios for years now, and I never had any issues. However, this entire year so far, every time I order food there, they overcharge me. It’s usually just an extra dollar, so I usually let it slide.
I just ordered pizza again and used the $ 1 off coupon inside their menu, making their large pizza $ 9.99. When I paid, the cashier said it was $ 10, which was fine, but I went to sign the receipt and he charged me $ 12 because of a «pre-​tip amount.» I’ve been to lots of pizza places and never once have I been scammed like this every time, so that will be my very last time eating there. It’s unfortunate because I do like their pizza, but I will just start going to Pizza Time in Colonia instead where they also have great pizza and charge the correct amount each time.

Just ordered via grub hub and oh man, the chicken wings with bbq sauce made me want to cry. I mean damn! Best chicken wings of my life!!! Great burgers too! Highly recommend!

We usually get delivery once a week — never let me down yet. Just got a grandma pizza today and it tastes so awesome. I am extremely fussy about pizza. Usually get chicken francese and eggplant parm plus some kind of pizza to eat over the weekend. Most of the dinners we’ve tried here are great but we keep coming back to those two. The eggplant parm is great because the breading is thin and not dense like some places make it.

The guy at the counter was rude. The pizza taste cheap. The place looked dirty. Avoid this place.

We actually ordered for takeaway for about 20 people and what a experience it has been. Chicken Buffalo Pizza, Bar B Q Pizza,
Buffalo Chicken wings, Bar B Q wings, Chicken and Beef Gyro were on the menu and these guys nailed it perfectly. Total bill was $ 120 and the guy gave us a $ 20 discount plus 2 extra dishes… I mean simply amazing!!!
Definitely recommend people to try it out.

Pizza was very good/​fresh/​hot. The garlic bread with cheese side was good but the marinara sauce that came with it was terrible. Ordered delivery to hotel and they made me go to the front desk to pick it up. I don’t consider that delivery. Delivery was quick though at 30 minutes. Overall I would recommend this place.

Stopped by and got 2 slices to go for lunch. Quick service. The pizza was very good. Tasted fresh. Could have been a little hotter, but no big deal. Just the right amount of cheese. The pizza slices weren’t dripping with oil like they are at some places.
Only negative is that they put two slices in a small box, instead of a bag like most places. It’s a waste of a cardboard box for just 2 slices.

After taking a job in the area, I was hard pressed to find a quick bite on my lunch break. Nunzio’s proved to be a quick, cheap lunch that day and has been many times since. The pizza is tasty, eggplant parm sandwiches are filling, and the fries are blazing hot! Make sure you have some cash on you when you come here. At Nunzio’s the preferred method of payment is «dough» for «dough.»

We had delivery, about a 45 minute wait. Well worth it. Food was delivered warm and cool. We had the baked lasagna, meat sauce and ricotta cheese, topped with mozzarella. I could have done without the mozzarella on top of lasagna, too much cheese for me. The lasagna was very tasty, meat and pasta cooked to tender. Thin crust vegetarian pizza was perfect, light sauce and cheese, small pieces of onion, tomatoes, garlic, bell pepper, mushrooms and olives, all with just a tiny brown from the oven. Greek salad topped with stuffed grape leaves! That was a special surprise. What we ordered could feed 4 – 6 people, no joke. $ 30.00 & free delivery for local areas. Portions were huge, we had left overs the next day (:

Hidden gem inside the best buy mall– the food was delicious and the owner was very nice. A lot of options– a group of guys ordered Honey BBQ wings, Philly cheesesteak pizza which was amazing, and an angus beef burger that smelled and tasted brought good memories of a simple grilled burger that can’t do you wrong.
This meat is also halal (a religious way of that includes a quick painless sacrifice for an animal and allows all blood and bacteria to leave the animal).
