Food is decent enough, but if you’re expecting dessert on the same day as dinner best go elsewhere. The wait was unreal.

I thought it was much better from both a service and appearance perspective than many of the other reviewers here. I found everyone there to be pleasant and helpful. My only«complaint» would be that some of the items on the salad bar were almost empty and in need of refill. I was able to substitute a vegetable for fries without a problem and my coupon was readily accepted.

Food was surprisingly good. Service was ok. Salad bar — mediocre, not a fan of salad that’s not clean, mushrooms. The tap water was horrible, tasted like bleach or dishwashing detergent. Will not go back or recommend.

I was hesitant at first due to the bad reviews but the garden bar was too tempting to pass up. I’m glad we came! My wife and kids had some great food. I ordered the bourbon salmon. It was a good quality piece of fish and nicely cooked. Sauce was a little sweet. Our server, Andrew, was really friendly and attentive. Desserts are huge and delicious!

Id give –3 stars if I could. Horrible employees. It took 15 minutes till the waitress stop chit chatting with her coworker and take the order. Not only her, all the employees look like they are more into getting social with each other rather than do their job. after my order she told me it will take 15 minutes, but it took 25 minutes. I guess the extra 10 minutes was because she was chit chatting in kitchen. Then when I said«TODAY!!» she told me maybe I should go to Subway, and I told her I am already in the«Subway» right now. Even Subway might be more classy.

I hate to sound harsh but I am shocked that this location is still in business. Been here a few times because it is close to my home and I just want something different, but this place just does not do it for me. The food is just eh and the atmosphere just blah. And today just sealed the deal. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and the bartender told me it’s her first time making one. I can deal with that but it was just awful. Then I ordered loaded french fries and they came out with a scoop of butter and a frozen scoop of sour cream. I mean really… butter on fries… frozen sour cream? The steak came out sitting in a puddle of oil and the flavor just wasn’t there. I won’t be shocked if/when this location shuts down. It is never overly crowded and I see why. It has to be the emptiest Happy Hour ever.

I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. However, the wait time to get a waitress was a bit too long. Normally, when a place is crowded you expect the wait a few minutes before they come to take your order. The restaurant wasn’t even ¼ full at 11:30 a.m. and we waited almost 20 minutes. When we finally placed our order she managed to get that wrong too. She brought out the wrong order. This won’t prevent me from going back for two reasons: 1) The waitress serving the table in front of me was fabulous so I know that it’s not a site issue but my waitress. 2) The food is great.

I have purposely not returned to this restaurant after my first visit. I went to the Ladies room to wash my hands and the scent of urine was so strong, all I wanted to do was get out of there quick. This totally ruined my appetite through my lunch since I still smelled the scent once I returned to my table. Service is slow, food is questionable as a result of the lack of cleanliness in the restroom. Food is nothing special

After many disappointing visits to the Ruby Tuesday in Elizabeth, this one was a huge improvement. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server was also really nice, polite, and attentive(just enough, not too much). Food was very good as well and it didn’t take long for it to arrive at our table. Very pleasant experience and atmosphere. Would recommend.

I wish I could add 0 stars. From the moment we got here we were completed lied to about product the restaurant offered and when our food was brought to us after an extremely long wait and the orders were wrong and they claimed they never had any of the original orders. Don’t go here!

Was extremely excited to come here because the one near my hometown in CA was closed down, however, the experience was beyond disappointing. I ordered my usual which was the avocado turkey burger with the garden bar. My meal came out after 15 minutes, but I was completely different than what I ordered. They said they were making one fresh for me and it would be out very soon. After 25 more minutes it finally came out, but it had the wrong cheese. When we mentioned it, they said they don’t even offer that cheese even though the waitress had said they did. I was so fed up with waiting I just kept the burger. When the bill came, we fully expected that the burger be taken care of because of the amount of mistakes and time we had to wait for the correct meal. Even our waitress said the bill would look funny to us because they ‘took care’ of a few things. What she failed to mention is that they just ‘took care’ of the mistake she made by putting in the wrong meal to begin with. I am extremely let down and had a horrible experience here.

After a long day of shopping I stopped at Ruby Tuesday with my sisters and a friend. There was no wait time at 7:30 on a Friday night which was great but our server(I think her name was Amanda) was busy with a lot of tables, so was not as attentive I’d like. The food was great, portions are huge so I also had dinner for Saturday as well– a double win. Only thing is that the table we were sitting in was very snug, they squished us in a booth in the middle of the restaurant in order for us not to have a wait time. Im not too paintent but more elbow room next time please.

Yesterday I witnessed an incident at Ruby Tuesdays(Iselin/Woodbridge, NJ), involving the couple sitting at the next table. Though strangers to us, it incensed me and you may want to be aware of how they treat customers. The man was holding a glass shaped like a beer or lemonade glass. All of a sudden, the bottom of the glass just cracked for no apparent reason and dropped onto the table. When the man stood up, I could that his drink had dumped out all over him, leaving a huge wet spot on his jeans. After several minutes of waiting, both seated and standing to try to get someone’s attention, he finally was able to flag down his waitress. She apologized, left to get a cloth, and on her return I overheard her explain that this used to happen all the time when the dishwasher got the glasses too hot, but it rarely happened anymore. Okay, these things happen. But at this point, she should have alerted the restaurant manager and he should have personally come over to apologize for the inconvenience and perhaps comp their meal, or offer that he hoped they’d come back for a better experience, and when they did, their appetizer would be on the house, or something… Instead, the server returned and said her manager had comped the drink — which the customer never got to drink, as it dumped out all over him! The manager never bothered coming over. When the couple got up to leave, I asked them what the restaurant had done for them. They responded that the drink had been comped. Nothing more. I expressed surprise, and the wife replied that she also thought that more might have been done, and would go speak with the manager. The next part of their conversation with the manager happened across the room so I can’t say exactly what happened, but I heard the manager rather rudely tell the couple that he had already comped their drink and couldn’t also comp their meal. The customer was speaking too quietly for me to hear what was actually said, but shortly thereafter the wife returned to the table, starting counting out cash, and looked really mad. The husband was still speaking with the manager — and I could see that the manager was getting agitated and they were getting physically closer to one another — and the customer lightly put his hand on the manager’s chest — looked like he was trying to keep the space between them — it wasn’t a push or anything threatening or violent in any way. Next thing, I hear the manager ask for the customer’s driver’s license, because he had gotten«physical with him.» At that point, the manager came over towards the table where the wife was still counting out cash and, since he was walking right past my table and I didn’t think he was treating these people fairly at all, I said: «Excuse me, I saw what happened and …» He stopped me mid-sentence and tersely said, «It’s none of your business. Stay out of it.» The husband then told us that the manager had actually ordered them out of his restaurant, but was now telling them to stay since the police were on the way! Sure enough, as my husband and I were exiting, a policeman arrived. So, instead of the manager apologizing for the supreme inconvenience of breaking glass into their meal and dumping liquid all over him, he tells the waitress to comp the drink that they never got to drink, then speaks to them rudely and calls the police on them! Although this had been a favorite restaurant for us, as they have good food and a great salad bar, it’s clean and the wait staff is generally good, until this is rectified, I’m never going back. I’ve written to Ruby Tuesday’s HQ, but have not yet heard back, quite yet. We’ll see. Meantime you ought to know how they treat their customers.

I’ve stopped by here a couple times while with the SO who was visiting jobsites in the area. Both times I was here, it was early(once right after they opened on a Friday evening and the second was around lunchtime on Saturday. I sat at the bar where the bartender made me a nice fruity non-alcoholic drink with free refills.(some kind of lemonade and apple cider fizz). The bartender was attentive and was got my appetizer order in pretty quick. Overall, I would tend to agree that this is a typical Ruby Tuesday. I hadn’t been disappointed yet, but the bar is not set the highest either. One plus — They serve Community Coffee — the«state coffee of Louisiana»!

Typical Ruby Tuesday. Although the night we went for an early dinner, it took a real long time for the drinks to arrive(white sangria and a diet coke). Oh well. The food was cooked to order.
