I can’t comment on the food, I don’t know ill ever get any. We’ve been here for 15 minutes. It’s a small place and busy, however, two groups of people that were say after us have received menus and drinks… I finally got a menu, but would love something to drink… Probably leaving soon since we still haven’t been served.

My family and I were wonderfully surprised with this restaurant from the time we walked in until we left. We had a great lobster bisque followed by some Phillie cheese steaks. Everything was very good including their home-made tea. My wife had a very good salad. For desert, we had key lime pie and my son had the chocolate moose. Both were very tasty! The service was very good and the place was very clean. The deco was very welcoming and warm. We will be back!

Great little place! They mean spicy when they say spicy fish taco! The lobster bisque is delicious as well as the gourmet salad. Looks deceiving from the outside… don’t let it fool ya, you should stop and enjoy the casual ambiance, good food and friendly staff.

The look of this place is deceiving. Not much ambience and rather small. But if you want delicious Italian dishes and top notch service, this is the place! Our server(didn’t get her name) had dark hair and tons of personality. Delivered every order from memory and got it perfect! Pasta is made in house and the red sauce was delicious! Even though the dishes seemed a little heavy on the sauce, they were surprisingly light. We had a delicious bruschetta and the tomato/mozzarella tower as apps. Chicken Parmesan was great as was the Pasta Bolognese. I sampled my husband’s shrimp from the special and it was wonderful. The garlic bread points were a nice light touch. Definitely will come back next visit!

So many good things to say about this place. I VERY rarely give 5 stars but I could not think of one good reason not to… We got a couple specials. The cuban quesadilla and meatball parma. I got the Plantation muffaletta. Someone else got the chef salad, a sub and a cuban press. They all came with the most delicious pasta salad that everyone loved! The serving sizes were very fair you could probably share if your not ravenous like I was… and for the size and location the prices were fair too! The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed. Could not have asked for a better lunch spot! They also have espresso and desserts… You probably wouldn’t even notice it driving by but don’t miss it! I highly recommend this spot!!!

Our next visit to this establishment was not so satisfying. I had pizza(very good) and my wife asked for cheesecake(not so good). The«cheesecake» was more of a cheese pie, along the lines and structure of a key lime pie, and it was thin. she said the flavor was good, but thr filling was grainy. While we were there, a dispute broke out between a waitress and a group of customers. l believe it was over seating arrangements. Next, the customers walked out saying the waitress was rude. We kind of concurred, because sheh had seemedsurlyj when she delivered our food. I am not sure if we will return, or, as locals, we we will recommend Bayside Gourmet to visitors and friends.

Quiet, little place, very friendly to us and our little beagle! Had good beer on tap, seadog sunfish. Their grouper reuben was out of this world good! My favorite reuben I’ve had! Will be back next time we are down.

OK Italian for the keys. We got the recommendation from a local so we were sure it had to be good. Nothing really exciting to write about. We ate it and were satisfied. However, it would be a half star since there are many out of town visitors they should be more attentive to deliveries to a hotel. We spent a good amount to have our complete meal from starters to deserts delivered because we didn’t want to go out after a long day. The delivery took 90 minutes and there wasn’t a fork or napkin. We had to drive down the street from the restaurant to by $ 10 forks and so forth to eat mediocre Italian. Our meal experience may have better if going out again didn’t ruin our intent. We could have had the meal warm and within 30 if we didn’t use the delivery option.

So I found this place via Unilocal and glad I did . The girls a super friendly here and the place is cute and cozy. The cappuccino wasn’t very good, but that was the only negative thing I have to say because the food was pretty good and it came out pretty fast.

The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. The food was perfect and enough to have leftovers. I had a hard time choosing because everything sounded so good.

Great find. We sat outside. Nice ambiance. We were uncertain and asked a group of police officers who said our other choice was good too, but that the bistro was more reasonable and excellent. Glad we took the advice. I will go again when in the keys.

Great pizza — as good as any you will get in Queens or Brooklyn. Wait staff was attentive and professional. Check them out next time you’re in the Keys

Islamorada welcomes many thousands of visitors year round, who eat the majority of their meals in restaurants. As an Islamorada resident, I go about my day-to-day life here in the the Keys. I have to work, take care of a household, and all the other mundane things that people who aren’t on vacation have to do. So, I don’t always have time to cook a full meal every night, nor is there always time to gather up family members on different schedules to go out to eat. Thankfully, some brilliant soul forty or so years ago came up with a fantastic idea — TAKEOUT! People are hungry, and restaurants offer food. Restaurants cook the food, then hungry people pick it up and take it home. The people get to eat yummy restaurant food instead of nuking a Lean Cuisine and eating it while standing over the kitchen sink, and the restaurants get to make money. Everybody wins! Bayside Gourmet offers their full menu for takeout or delivery. It’s very convenient to call in an order, swing by and pick it up, and enjoy it at home so you don’t risk running into your neighbors wearing your glasses, baseball cap hiding a bad hair day, and ripped sweatpants. Maybe I just have bad luck(*shrug*), but Bayside Gourmet, enough is enough with the order glitches. Tonight we ordered the following: Fish Dip(comes focaccia toast) — $ 6.95 Meatballs(comes with focaccia toast) — $ 9 Philly Cheesesteak — $ 8.95 Cavatelli in Vodka Sauce(comes with salad and focaccia toast) — $ 17 Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie The male head of our household was dispatched to collect the order. When he returned, the hungry people were waiting and the table was set. Ok, ball of fish dip, check, meatballs, check, philly cheesesteak, check, cavateli, check, cookie, check, salad. salad…Bueller? Ok, focaccia toast… toast…nope. Male of household was chastised for not bringing entire order and as of this hour a teenager continues to pout and there is no end in sight. I called to let them know what had happened, but not to COMPLAIN that it happened. There’s a big difference. Things can once in a while get mixed up, but we had already had some issues with orders(part of order forgotten, wrong pizza toppings, sandwich requested no tomato came with tomato, etc). A couple times we had them fix it, but other times we just dealt with it, no big deal. The young lady who answered the phone this evening was befuddled by what I was trying to convey. «Was this an order you already placed? Was it today? Who was it for? You didn’t get a salad? Did you order a salad? What did you order so I can make sure it comes with a free salad? Was it pickup or delivery? You already picked it up? When did you pick it up?» Yes, we were indeed missing the salad. Could we come back to pick it up? No, it’s ok. At that point we weren’t going to drive back. Well, the delivery person is about to make a delivery to MM74, so he could drop it off. I declined again as we’re at MM89, 15 miles in the other direction. We really aren’t going to make a fuss over a side salad. It wasn’t that we were unhappy about not getting the«free» salad,(which isn’t «free» because it is one of the components of a dinner entrée, priced accordingly). I would have ordered a salad anyway, except that one came with the dinner. Just please try to stop getting orders wrong, and pass on this information to prevent it reoccurring. She assured me she would. I assure YOU she WON’T. I didn’t even mention the focaccia toast. We were only given one bag. The second(missing) bag obviously contained the rest of the order. So somewhere there is a bag with a side salad and a sh*t ton of focaccia toast in it, still sitting or given to someone else. Some say it’s your own fault if you pick up an order and it isn’t right — you should check it yourself. I disagree. I don’t want to rifle through takeout containers. Some say you should have your order delivered if you don’t want to be responsible for checking your own order. Well, I don’t want to have something delivered if I can just pick it up easily. Stop blaming the victim! Most disheartening was that the phone answerer didn’t express any bit of regret. Even an unenthusiastic quarter-assed apology would have gone a long way with me. Because of her indifference, I feel compelled to give fair warning. DOUBLECHECKYOURORDER! CHECKFOREVERYTHING! I’ve seen the owners of Bayside Gourmet when I’ve picked up or eaten in. Had I spoken to one of them, they would surely have appreciated the opportunity to handle this glitch themselves. However, as my free salad problem was entirely insignificant to the phone answerer, they were not allowed the chance to do so. I won’t be ordering from or frequenting Bayside Gourmet in the future and I’m sure they will be thrilled to not have to deal with the lunatic who made a huge deal out of a «free» side salad. But, it’s always the principle that inspires a scorned customer to put heart and soul into recounting such an epic restaurant tale.

This spot has now become one of my favorite breakfast places in Islamorada. I had heard good things about it from my family members but had never gone to eat there myself. I was surprised to see that the restaurant was empty on a Saturday morning considering the food was so good. I ordered the breakfast burrito and the pancakes topped with berries and it was delicious. If you want coffee, your given a cup to fill up with several options of different flavors, definitely a plus for morning coffee lovers.

En route to Key West we spotted this lovely eatery. They offer self-serve coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and an amazing breakfast selection. We opted for the delicious pancakes and the grouper omelet. It was so great we went back the next day! This place is an excellent choice for breakfast, couples, and families(we had our 2yo and 4mo old daughters). The staff is super friendly and accommodating! Be sure to check out their delicious baked goods as well!

Given all the excellent reviews, we were very surprised that the service was so slow. We noticed that several of the tables looked displeased and were empty when we sit down. Then we overheard one of the tables complaining about the food being slow. Then we heard another table complaining about a bad order. After waiting for 10 minutes for drinks, we got up and left. Service is awful! Also disappointed to learn that pizza is not offered on the dinner menu, nor were there any if the sandwiches the other reviews mentioned. I think this is a local place, and they like it that way. Perhaps they intentionally give bad service to tourists. Don’t go if you don’t live here!

My daughter and her boyfriend first introduced us to this wonderful restaurant in the keys. It’s not on the water but it really doesn’t make a difference because the food is over the top and the service is fantastic. Our last few visits we had company and brought them here and everybody was more than pleasantly surprised.

Ate here for an early lunch. Everything was fantastic! The waitress was a a doll(I forget her name), but we even chatted about the filming of the Netflix show«Bloodline» in Islamorada and she told me that the cast and crew had eaten there a few times. Food was spectacular. Lobster bisque, caprese salad, wraps… all perfection. Atmosphere is casual and relaxing. If you are visiting Islamorada — definitely stop in here for lunch! I’ll be back for sure!
