Had a great crab cake sandwich for lunch. Good prompt service right on the beach. Wife’s turkey chess wrap was good both came with a navel orange instead of chips A nice touch. Very good when so many other places like this offer marginally edible food and bad service

This place suxx. The hamburger was reheated, the roll stale and the fries were old as dirt. For 11 bucks, plus extra for fries, go some place that appreciates your business. The staff, though, is wonderful. College kids with big smiles. Don’t know what’s happening in the kitchen, though. Good place to drink a glass of wine and listen to Jimmy Buffett combo.

OK bar-like food. It does the trick when you are hungry from all the fun at the beach. They serve alcohol at this bar as well.

My family and I visited Isle of Palms last week and this was our first SC dining experience. Needless to say we were less than impressed. The location and atmosphere were pretty great. We were in walking distance of the house we stayed out and although we sat on the deck it was pretty cool out on such a hot day. They had live music which was less than stellar. Our drinks came out first and were really good. My husband & I ordered the crab dip which was $ 8 and came in a small dish that side sauces are typically put in with a bag of Stacy’s Pita Chips. The dip itself was good but I would have liked to see something a bit more. For lunch, I ordered the vegetable wrap and was confused when it came out without the hummus on it as the menu stated. I essentially was given a salad in a wrap with no sauce or any kind. When I asked the waitress where the hummus was, she said that it always comes on the side. I was confused as to why it wouldn’t state that on the menu. The wrap was boring and the hummus was not fresh either. We were disappointed in the experience but cannot say that it was the worst. The drinks and atmosphere were both great but the food left little to be desired and the service was OK. If you are looking for a great Charleston dining experience, I would pass on this one.

Sunbathing on the beach can only be made better with easy access to refreshing snacks and beverages. The Grand Pavilion Café and Bar is just steps from the private beach. They serve sandwiches, burgers, fries and beers and mixed drinks. They also have live music in the late afternoon, early evening. With two pools on each side, patio tables, or barstools they make it comfortable and relaxing. No need to bring cash or credit, they can easily charge your room.
