«It’s Ukulele Day» they said as we walked in. I love this place. Relaxing, clean, roomy. Romantic in a cozy beach-house sort of way. Fantastic view of the Delta from both the inside and outside on the deck. I had the Bacon Cheese Burger & salad — super good! Full bar, wide variety of beer. I ordered a Bloody Mary made with handcrafted mix. It was quite good. Service was speedy with a smile. We had a great time here, everyone was friendly, and we will return. FYI — The Delta Uke Jam meets here twice a month(they close for Winter).

boat dock, good food. Menu price was average. Being able to dock your boat and eat while taking a break from skiing: excellent

Arrived at 7:30 pm for dinner on a Sunday and was told that kitchen closed at 7 pm even though the website says 9 pm. Overheard the employee mention she was shutting the bar down too ‘unless it’s worth it’. Apparently we weren’t worth it. They told us to go to the Riverboat Marina restaurant instead… so we did.

We had dinner here. Picked up to go as we were staying on our boat. Ordered from menu seen on their website. Apparently has not be updated since they no longer offer pizza. We had 8 orders in all. The fish and chips were mediocre at best. Bacon cheeseburger was good, Cobb salad was large and very good. Grilled cheese and chicken strips for kids were eaten. Had drinks while waiting for order. Staff and owner were very nice and gave lil one extra cherries in his drink. We were going to go for breakfast the next day but in light of the fish and chips wasn’t to sure if I wanted to try the eggs benedict. Would come again mostly for view and or location being right on the water but would stick to salad or burgers.

Good service by wait staff and bartender. Food was ok, but more than one entrée were too salty. Most locals come for the bar, sports channel and pool table but the outsiders certainly come here for the spectacular view of the river and dock. Lots of floating green lily pads too. A great place to bring your date. A casual restaurant so dress accordingly. Parking is limited and slopes your vehicle vertically along the bank, kinda scary.

— — –FIVESTARSARE for Michael though. We don’t know his last name, we only know he lives in Stockton. He was so wonderful to my husband and I tonight. He was our server, bus boy and chef… On top of that, the guests in front of our table forgot their wallet, and… guess who(no kidding) RAN out to give them their wallet back… Yes! Michael… wow. such a great quality man. … {{{Owners}}}… Michael is a keeper! He is professional, cordial and loving man that has wonderful people skills. We pray you acknowledge his work and compensate him for what he is worth. Great people are hard to find. He mentioned to us that he works(forgive me if I am wrong)… Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. We will be down one week per month for business, we’d love to see Michael every time we come in. We will be back because of Michael. God bless LIghthouse.

This review is more for the bar. I asked for an open tab, and mentioned that I wanted to close the tab later with cash. Bartender said sure, but asked for a card. When I went to close the bill, he charged my card. Didn’t even get to see a full item receipt. I told him again I asked earlier to close in cash, and he just shrugged and shook his head at me, unwilling to change it. I can understand if he forgot, but to be unwilling to change it frustrated me. Just told him whatever and signed my tab. Decent bar, but the bartender ruined what otherwise would have been a good night.

Stopped in here for a snack while boating around the delta. We weren’t real Hungary so just ordered appetizers. I have to say the chips and salsa were great! thick home made tortilla chips show that they want to be different then the norm. nothing like home made chips! I think the salsa is made there as well and it was pretty good too. But the onion rings were what surprised me, Nice crunchy coat of of batter fried just right. our waitress was the cutest little thing, Whit a great attitude and some spunk! lol I think her name and was lexus, She was fun. We will be back in for more this summer for sure!!!

Rental office first gave us a cabin that the sink was broken, you can see the photos. We are at cabin number 1. Not so great. Pool is chained closed. General store is closed for season. This is after spring break??? One of the bath rooms out side are closed. Plus is hot water and toilet flushes. I don’t even see the cabin with the loft in the picture any where???

I’m gonna warn you, I tried out for a position as executive chef at the lighthouse back in July to replace the egotistical and obnoxious outgoing chef. I spent one night in that hellish kitchen and returned the next day to say ”No thanks!” The kitchen is gross and under staffed and under equipped, I walked into the kitchen right after a busy lunch and was disgusted by the mess created by amateur cooks that don’t know how to clean as they go, A majority of the items on the menu do come from frozen and the menu is WAAAAAAAY to ambitious for what they have in the way of equipment and skill. I also walked away because I was offered $ 16 an hour as an executive chef to be hired as an ”Independent Contractor”, what a joke! No benifits, no unemployment insurance, no workman’s comp! Those kind of hiring practices are not only shameful and should be considered illegal but it attracts the kind of people that should NOT be working in the industry(I.e. Illegals criminals, people without the proper education in safe cooking and sanitation, you know, the important stuff) ! I know it’s Isleton, but some of the tweekers working there worry me! I was looking for an out from my crappy CC job but hell at least I get medical insurance and can’t be sued personally if someone gets sick! By the way, anyone else try the water, tastes like pure algae!

I want to like this place more than I did and perhaps next time I stop in it will be better. Unfortunately the flies made enjoying my food next to impossible. I can tolerate one or two but 6 – 7 and it’s just a constant onslaught. There shouldn’t be any but there were tons. Inside. Not good. I started looking around and stopped when I saw all the dust and dirt and spider webs. Any place which can’t take care of their front of house doesn’t take care of the back. I don’t want to know what the kitchen looks like… This really should really be a two star review but our waitress was really nice and I believe if they started focusing on the health aspect(the most critical aspect???) this could actually be a top notch eatery on the delta. For now? It’s ok. Aside from everything, the view was great and the food was great(despite being a tad on the slow side). I had the wedge salad and crab sandwich. Loved it. The overall experience of eating on the waterfront is worth the price of admission, I just wish that was enough.

We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday. there were two people at a table and three at the bar. Two of the three at the bar worked there. The TV sets were blasting. We asked if it was quieter at a different table and was told they would turn it down. That did not happen. The food was pretty good; however they must have been out of hash browns; as the portions were tiny. The prices were ok. Parking is horrific! One handicap and one other spot by building; a few more VERY steep spots past the boat ramp.

Love this place! Fun, friendly and always lively. The best views on the loop to watch boats cruise by. Lunch is good, and service is OK, a little slow, but this IS the delta. There is something to be said about delta time. The owners really try to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. And after you eat you can wander down the dock and rent some kayaks at Kokopelli Rentals for the afternoon. Not much better than that!

We received a free 3 day 2 night stay. Everyone we spoke with at the park was wonderful. We did attend a very low key sales presentation, and decided to decline. Our primary reason was the lack of sewer hookups for a motorhome in the shade trees. The only full hookup sites had a problem with horrific sewer gas. Our particular site was adjacent to a family who had a very loud boombox playing the kinds of music we abhor. Since we were there on a free offer we did not feel we should complain. The park is very kid friendly. There is a flock of grass trimming sheep which we found amusing. The roads are gravel and dusty. The water was clean and clear without any off taste, but our water pressure was not the best. It was very warm and we ran our AC nearly all afternoon and into the evening and there were no power issues. We did not use the pool or the min golf course, but both looked very popular. My only real negative is that horrible smell and the lack of sewer hookups for RVs in the shaded sites. After we finished stowing all our gear and disconnecting our hookups, we decided to walk to the store to enjoy a cold ice cream bar before climbing back into our coach for the drive home. Imagine our dismay to find the store was closed at 2:40 on a blistering Sunday afternoon during a time when lots of people were leaving for home. They could have sold a lot of cold stuff to all the people leaving! Good thing I still had some cold lemonade in my refrigerator.

0 friends 1 review Kimberly G. Beverly Hills, CA 1.0 star rating 6÷27÷2013 I went to the Light house Restaurant on Sunday for dinner and as I was walking into the restraint I noticed the owner was cussing out a employee in the open where everyone could here it. That is very unprofessional and rude to see and hear! I give the restaurant thumbs down for what I witnessed and turned around and walked out the door. I will never go back to this restaurant and I had a awesome dinner at Moore’s Riverboat. The staff is great, food pretty good(stay away from the fish and chips) but the proprietorship, or lack of, is the worst I have ever seen. I will never go back.

The Lighthouse Restaurant is under new management for 2013. The new managers seem to have made some big changes and it shows. Our waitress Hayley was awesome. Very friendly and a great waitress. We like the atmosphere here, the bar is always full and there is always something going on. Great waterfront seating in the main dining room. We will be back.

Been memers since March 2012. So far so good. Had a little issue with the weekend resident hosts being what I consider to be rude but this past weekend she was very nice. They have weekend activities for all ages. Jose cooked up some killer tacos this past weekend. We are even going back this weekend. If you’re a member, nightly cost are only $ 5 a night.

I called in to radio station 910 am to answer a finance trivia question and won a 2 night stay here. I had a year to use it and scheduled it for a Thursday and Friday night. Very nice on the phone. I stayed in a 2 bedroom house that was in an rv park. They sell beer and snacks at an on site convenience store. There’s also a pool and mini golf to play. We had fun. Luckily the house had AC. Across the street is a bar. We rocked the karaōke there Friday night. There were 2 other big groups of people there so it was fun. Going was an interesting adventure. Not sure if I’d come back but for only paying a $ 75 cleaning fee it was a good deal. P. S. Headline today was Stockton is bankrupt. No wonder they were trying to send me there. Stimulate the economy, I did.
