Just had a FANTASTIC lunch with my husband at Moores! Delta Breeze salad with pecans, strawberries and a local goat cheese that was outa sight! Hubby had the fish and chips,(As it was delivered to our table, other patrons waiting to be seated said, «That’s what we’re having)! Ample portions, great seating, super fast, professional, personal service! We’ll be back!

This place is amazing. Been coming here for a while now and I absolutely love this place. The new owner really has turned it into a super fun environment. Wether you are coming to eat or party. They’ve got live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and everyone there is friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Wether you are coming to dine with your family or coming to party with your friends this place is a blast… everytime I’ve been here! To Jonna S. — the servers are racist? You probably walked into this place with a chip on your shoulder, treated them like shit the whole time(probably so you didn’t have to tip them), and then gave them a bad review based on a situation that you created. They probably don’t want you back in there just as bad as you don’t want to go back in there. Get a life!

This was more then good food, this was a great experience. My friends and I decided we needed to go out there to party and let loose on a Sunday as we heard about the great music. Well, we made a great choice. From the music to the staff, to the great food– endless fun. We were treated like we were the only table the waitress had and the food was amazing. It was an environment that let’s you just let your hair down and enjoy yourself without holding back. We fed the fish and beavers from our table some bread.(love it). I have already started putting another trip with many friends together to go back. It was one of my highlights this summer.

The food was fantastic. Our table had the prawn scampi, sole, clam chowder & a burger. The service was very friendly & quick even though we got there just before closing. A beautiful waterfront view.

Loved the new fresh bright décor. Missed the panties though. Fish and chips were off the chain but steak fries would have brought me back for moore. sooner

Moore Riverboat used to be the best«go-to» spot in the Delta… but that’s back when Captain John Moore ran the place on the old river freighter. It was mobbed all of the time… a legend! But that’s all gone now. The current«Moore’s Riverboat» is a building on a barge. It’s been through a revolving door of managers who have come and gone. Nobody seems to stick around. Every year, the exterior and docks look increasingly run down. The place looks closed from out on the river… no banners, no flags… nothing. Not nearly the crowds I remember. It used to be a score just to get a spot at the dock! There was even an attendant to help you tie up. The inside is nice, however. A couple of burgers and beers with tax and tip will not leave much change from a $ 50 bill. Sign of the times, I guess. Food is «OK». Not bad, but,-for the price– portions are unremarkable and presentation is blah. Seriously, it costs like Sausalito! I really hope that Moore’s can bring it back to the way it was in the good old days when all the docks were full(and in good repair) every weekend, music was playing, the place packed with guys and gals of all ages and types having fun, dancing… with good, simple Delta food and drink at reasonable prices. That vibe of good times that was in the air back then. Can it ever happen again? History may not repeat, but can certainly rhyme! I think they are literally«missing the boat» here because the place is surrounded by the finest and most expensive marinas in the Delta and there are really not many other places to go these days out on ‘the Loop”! Still– I’m sure glad its there. Better than nothing, but the potential is enormous.

Dinner at Moore’s was a great experience. We sat on the outdoor deck, the atmosphere was beautiful. We started with Mai Tai’s that were great, steamed clams and fresh warm bread with pesto dip, it was wonderful! For dinner we had the fish and chips, and lamb. The waitress was very attentitive and our food was great. Even the dinner salads were awesome. They have live music on the weekends and a lively atmosphere. I would recommend this place. We are going back this weekend!

I have mixed reviews for this place. The ambience is decent, not great, even though I like the boat shaped bar outside. We sat on the water and since it was a beautiful evening at dusk and the weather was great the experience was overall pleasant. My g/f ordered the Asian Chicken salad and she said it was ‘ok”. I ordered the white lasagna and was mildly disappointed as it was obviously re-heated almost to the point of being burnt and there was almost nothing in it except pasta and a little bit of cheese. Basically it was several layers of pasta with burnt cheese on top. Since ketchup doesn’t go with lasagna I asked for marinara sauce to drown it but that was only marginally helpful as the marina wasn’t that great either. The servers were helpful and friendly though, which always helps. The best thing this place has going for it is the view and that it’s boat accessible.

I used to come to Moore’s riverboat as a kid and was excited to see that they were open again. We went for Father’s Day with a fairly large party(I think 9 total). The waitress although nice enough was horrible. She didn’t know the menu, for either food or drinks, there were several mistakes to orders and we had to ask multiple times for things like drink refills, extra napkins, etc… The food was just ok, I had the sliders and they were decent, my husband had the dinosaur ribs and although they were large, they just were not flavored well, several others in our party did not enjoy what they received. We addressed with management and they were apologetic but I don’t see us driving out to have a meal here again. The only reason it got 2 stars was the ambiance, great view of the delta.

If I could he give no stars, I would. Food was good but was negated by the horrible service. I am not one to be critical at all but this was the absolute worst service ever right from the start. It was apparent that other tables in our area were also experiencing the same poor service. Again, food was good(not great) but there are plenty of other places to go where not only is the food good but the service is as well. Oh and by the way, I may have to reward this awful place with one but you can be sure I didn’t reward the server with a tip.

This was the worst meal I have ever had. I am shocked at how this was ever allowed to be served. I had the filet of beef sandwich. The meat was like leather and tasted spoiled. Fries were ice cold. Another person with us ordered chicken salad and they did not put any chicken in it and brought over a very small dish with chopped canned chicken. We had a party of six and my husband only ordered a side salad and it came 20 Minutes after we were served. It was disgusting The friends we were with that recommended this restaurant were embarrassed and kept apologizing Don’t waste your hard earned money on this place. Nursing a tummy ache right now from the bad beef

Under new management yet again, we decided to give Moore’s Riverboat another chance. We’ve been coming to Moore’s since there were panties on the ceiling… long before the Catfish Café was floated downstream as a replacement and we always hope for the best. While previous ventures have failed simply because the food was bad, I think this incarnation of Moore’s Riverboat 4.0 has a good chance for survival. The grounds and décor is exactly the same, including the rickety docks that are actually dangerous in parts. It still has that Delta dive ambience that’s charming, though a good power wash and some paint wouldn’t spoil a thing. The menu looks great with lots of choices and specials. We ordered the Calamari Dore special and the Fish and Chips. The calamari was excellent! Grilled, well-seasoned and fork tender. The accompanying grilled asparagus was yummy though aunt Mary’s potatoes were a bit odd. A hybrid of hash browns and scalloped potatoes. A baked potato offering would have been better. The fish and chips was good too, especially the fish that you know is house prepared as its one large filet. Again perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was very tasty. The fries, however, were a huge disappointment. Flaccid and warm, not hot. I suspect they use fresh potatoes, which isn’t a bad thing, but I think the river rats are going to want crispy, hot fries. Hard to get fresh potatoes really crispy. The salad greens were wilted and lacked freshness, but the blue cheese dressing was delicious and tastes home made. The service was excellent and prompt. Pleasant servers eager to please always forgive most food shortcomings. If Moore’s can work out the little kinks and keep up the good food quality, they have a good chance at longevity in the Delta.

It’s been two years since we’ve been here. Having moved out of state, we tried last year but they were remodeling the restaurant. We came in today and WOW, the place is beautiful. Our bartender Shannon was outstanding. Everyone welcomed us in and immediately made us feel at home. It was quiet in that it was 1:30PM and not many people here YET! With the nice weather and the nightly bands starting at 9PM, this place will be busy. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with salad. Meat was cooked to perfection but bread toasted just a tad bit long but I enjoyed all of it. Wish were staying longer but Oregon is calling us home. They are currently open Weekends and full time when summer hits. Thanks Shannon for the great service and we’ll see Ya June 15th when we come back down. PS: We’re members of Lighthouse RV and to everyone at Lighthouse this is the bar/restaurant you want to relax at on the Delta Loop.

I was part of a group of almost 40 boaters which descended on Moore’s at 6.30 on a Saturday night. Fortunately we had a reservation because this is a popular place even at the tail end of the boating season. We were served promptly with water(not the local well water) and ample warm bread and butter. The salads were tossed after the dressing so every piece of lettuce was moist and tasty. My chicken marsala over rice was delicious and I heard good reports on the salmon and prime rib. The prime rib portions were large with choices from very rare to end cuts. It has been several years since last at Moore’s and I wasn’t disappointed.
