Hands down my favorite place to have coffee! Great atmosphere for the east side with tables and chairs to meet with friends or get some work done.

High quality coffee, beautiful modern-rustic interior, and friendly«small town» service… what more could you ask for from a neighborhood café?? Walk-ins only(no drive thru), and parking can be pesky, but this place is so worth it! The patio seems very dog-friendly; there is always a bowl of water set out, as well as places to secure a leash while you run inside to get your fuel before your walk with your canine friend(s). ;) And fyi, those wooden patio chairs are much more comfortable than they look!

I stopped by to kill some time between classes and work and was really impressed with the lofted ceiling, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere. I expected it to be noisy with loud music, but instead found the volume of conversation and music to be very comfortable. The baristas were very friendly and nice to talk to. They inquired about my day and my plans, which was pleasant to see that they cared or at least did a good job pretending to care. The only downside was the coffee. I ordered a nonfat white mocha and it tasted like an espresso mixed with 16oz of water. Maybe it was a wrong choice of drink for the caffè, but it was disappointing.

This is our go-to coffee shop in the highlands. Although pretty mild in flavor, I love their mocha. If you order«for here,» you can look forward to some pleasant coffee art.

I should prelude this review: I’m not really one for coffee. I get tea when I come. The few times I’ve ordered my only coffee drink(white mocha), it has been exquisite. I want to give this place a five-star review for how kind the baristas are and how hospitable of an environment it is. I work with a young lady with disabilities who lives locally, and it is our absolute favorite haunt. The baristas know her and are so unbelievably kind and compassionate toward us, it keeps us coming back over and over. They know us by now as regulars, and oblige our every request. They even keep baskets of games and coloring books to entertain little ones(and the two of us, ha)! They deserve recognition for their excellent service, it can be difficult to find in the Seattle/Bellevue-area.

Whenever we travel, I check Unilocal to help us find a good coffee spot. My husband is a coffee snob. We have all of the devices to make a great cup of coffee(Chemex, aeropress, French press, etc.). I left him inside while I did a little shopping. When I returned, he was happily chatting about coffee with Bree. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and she brews a great cuppa coffee. Hubby walked out with a delicious cup of coffee, two packages of micro-batched beans, and a molasses cookie(yum!). He also got me a freshly brewed black ice tea that was delicious! This is now our«go to» spot for coffee and goodies when we travel from Seattle to Yakima.

Love the smell of fresh brewed espresso! The vanilla latte here is creamy and very delicious! Staff is very friendly. A nice neighborhood place to sit down and enjoy a very nice cup of coffee.

pretty cozy place for a rainy day to go finish some work at. there are small wooden single tables and chairs, some comfyish leather chairs and a communal type of pew bench with wooden chairs on the other side. most seats were taken, i sat at a small table with 2 wooden chairs. the table had a lot of crumbs leftover and the chair was quite wobbly whenever i leaned back. the table is higher than the chair so it’s a little uncomfortable raising my arms onto the table while typing. i ordered a macchiato ~$ 3, it was pretty good however, the saucer was a bit dusty. when i went on a weekday afternoon, there were mostly older white men in their 50 – 60’s. one of em behind me was on the phone with various business/personal calls the whole time and would tap his feet with vigor sometimes. many small children with parents came and went. i like the high ceilings with the varying paper drop spherical lights. the natural lighting is abundant with windows all around. personally i prefer more artificial warm lighting as it feels cozier when it’s not summer. the two baristas working were nice, one of them was quite loud with her laughter and it was kind of weird ordering and waiting while she kept talking with the other. the music is kind of just contemporary folk, i was able to tune it out. those who like a quieter place to study may not be be keen on the moderate, sometimes quite loud noise inside. overall not a bad place to come that’s in the neighborhood since issaquah doesn’t really have any other café. the wifi password is «espresso» and the speed is fine.

Good place to visit. Americano is quite not bad, I would even call it tasty. The atmosphere is a bit better than in most of grab and go cafes. Not too much room for visitors, strange choice of furniture(big tables occupied by lonely visitors). Try coffee with orange zest, it is unusual.

I love this place. If you like the taste of coffee then I think you’d enjoy this place. They don’t have a ton of fancy syrups, it’s just pure delightful coffee!

Popped in here to kill an hour before my eye appointment next door. Place is clean, well lit, and the whole space is gorgeous. Cash register space is awkwardly small and crowded, but that’s more of a flaw of the bar design then anything else. Staff was friendly and nice, and offered up the wifi password without me even asking. My hot chocolate(not a coffee drinker) was poured like a cappuccino and I was loving the dense foam throughout the drink. Definitely will come in next time I have time to kill and am in the area again.

I have been in here maybe 100 times. I love it. Everyone is so sweet, upbeat, and the coffee is really good. There were a few times I would plan on going to the Starbucks drive thru but because it was too long, I would stop in at Café Ladro which ended up being faster and for better coffee. They also have a good sweet and savory selection of goodies. I love coming here in the summer, great outdoor seating. My other feedback would be that it’s not always very clean. The carpet is dirty and the windows aren’t clean. I would highly recommend this establishment.

I really expected this place to be loud and obnoxious on a Sunday afternoon, but was pleasantly surprised to find a well-lit, calm environment with comfy furniture! The guy at the counter not only has beautiful eyes and a big smile, but he asked the right questions to help me get my order just right and called it to the barista who was sweet and chatty with me while she made my extra dirty soy chai latte. If I find myself in this neck of the woods again, I’ll be sure to return to Ladro. Although I didn’t order any baked goods, the case was clean and well-stocked with delectable treats.

Small neigbourhood speciality coffee shop. I’m crazy about their Orange madici(orange mocha). Baked sweets are great too. Coffees tests better than Starbucks. Price is similar. It has wi-fi as well. Wish it had extended hours.

Probably one of the worst coffees that I have ever experienced, but the barista was nice. I ordered an iced white chocolate Americano and it tasted like burnt water.

Caffe Ladro always has great coffee. I love that they sell the wares to make great coffee at home and you can get coffee made with an aeropress there! The wi-fi is free, but there are more comfy chairs for chatting than tables for working; not every thing needs to be about work. There is always a nice selection of baked goods, including quiches.

Whenever I’m in the Highlands, I often make a stop here. It’s located right on the main road and short distance from the central shopping area. The interior is fairly small and cozy with some additional outdoor seating and has a more welcoming atmosphere than your typical Starbucks. I’ve always been happy with my drink, which is usually an iced latte. The coffee has more of a nutty flavor and does not have a bitter aftertaste. The only thing is that I always order a flavored latte — caramel or vanilla — but although I can taste the sweetness, the actual flavor isn’t apparent. I appreciate being able to taste the coffee, but this is just a thought. :) The coffee is a little more on the expensive side so I wouldn’t be an «everyday» customer. However they seem to put more care into the drink(i.e. stirring in the flavored syrup evenly) which makes it worth the occasional trip.

I tried this place out the other day since I recently moved to this area and, sad to say, I was a little disappointed. I ordered a raspberry scone, breakfast sandwich, and a caramel latte. The scone was what would bring me back. That was seriously one of the best scones I’ve had… Especially since I love raspberry. The sandwich wasn’t bad, just what I would expect. The latte was made poorly, to be honest I’m not even sure if there was caramel syrup in it at all. The server was very friendly though! In the future I might go back to get the scone, but probably wouldn’t spend money on a drink again.

It’s a damn cute place with good coffee and great almond croissants! Landed up here since we needed some non-Starbucks coffee(for once) before the movie at Regal which is right across the street.

I’ve spent many hours at this Caffe Ladro, and I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say that it’s my favorite Ladro location! I love this location because all the coffee beverages I’ve had have been good, and they’re usually also pretty! Foam art makes me happy. I love that rice milk is an option! I don’t like soy milk, so at most places I usually just stick to the default milk option. I love that it’s big and the wifi seems to always work. The ball/bubble lights hanging from the ceiling are also pretty cool! I love that the music changes all the time. Sometimes I end up listening to headphones because I need to focus or because I don’t like what they’re playing(can’t quite handle two hours of Beyonce!), but… I still like that the baristas seem to have power over the music. I love that there’s a little pond and walking trail near-by. When I visit earlier in the day and don’t have much/any work to do, I usually grab a beverage here and go walk around the pond. I’ve loved the pastries I’ve tried and am so happy that they now also have salads and sandwiches! I used to have to get breakfast elsewhere before coming here to get some work done(on my laptop) because I sometimes don’t want pastries for breakfast. I love… the view. I’m not sure why. I think it’s because it’s on a hill or something. I love… that there are sometimes cute dogs outside? I think I’ve finally run out of reasons, so I should probably end this«review» here. :)
