Starbucks

The staff is really friendly, my friend that I’ve known since we were growing up works there, There’s a nice guy who is really polite to women who’s like 18 – 19 who’s really respectful, they make my hot chocolate, frappé’s, anything I order they make it right.
I just have a teeny tiny problem with the manager and some of the barista’s.
The manager and most of the staff saw my Seattle Supersonics hat that I got from my uncle and gave me dirty looks. I’m a big basketball fan and want the Sonics back and I feel like giving me dirty looks because I’m wearing a hat that’s from Seattle is stupid, I see people wearing Seahawks stuff and Mariners stuff but when I wear a hat from a basketball team I’ve grown up with I get dirty looks just because they got sold (???). I don’t care if the hat bothers you, I lost my basketball team by your boss (aka Howard Schultz). Like any Seattle fan I will wear my hat until I get my team back.
The manager and most of the employees shouldn’t give me dirty looks because of my hat. IT’S JUST A HAT. I’m guessing everyone in that Starbucks wants the Sonics back besides the manager or any of the baristas’s.

Haven’t gone here in a while because of how terrible they are. I stopped today hoping there had been a change. No change. There was no line, drove right up and placed my order to a super unfriendly person over the speaker. Then when I FINALLY get to the window, the lady takes my card without saying anything. Several minutes later hands me a drink, of which I did not order. I told her again what I ordered and she had to come back to me to confirm. That’s three times I said my order. Triple tall non fat latte. It’s not that complicated. 10 MINUTES LATER she returns with a hot drink, without saying ANYTHING hands me a super hot drink. I took one sip and immediately could tell was STILL NOT MY ORDER. Out of frustration I drove away. I should not have to repeat my order three times, she should have apologized or acknowledged I was there. This Starbucks IS THE WORST. Save yourself and go somewhere else for coffee.

I just find this Starbucks to be highly irritating. I am a frequent customer and come here daily.
1. Parking lot is a nightmare. Not SB’s fault, but not enough parking for patrons and a drive through designed for power wheels.
2. They are ALWAYS out of food/​drinks. Yesterday, they ran out of Venti cups so they made me use two grande cups. The day before, they were out of wraps. Today, they were all out of refreshers. Consistently, they are always out and it’s embarrassing. The team needs to revisit the ordering process in general, to prevent loss of sales and trust by the customer.
3. I’ve noticed they focus more on the customers waiting in the drive through than at the counter inside the store. The line for the drive through moves noticeably faster than the small line at the counter. Maybe I’m wrong, but the customers that are facing the employees in the store should have higher priority than guests waiting in the drive through.
4. Two stars for the service. Despite their operations, everyone is extremely friendly and kind and always make an effort to make my day better.
In conclusion, you’re better off just going across the street to the SB inside Safeway. It will be a faster and more efficient experience.

My tip for you (at any Starbucks) get your drink for here, so it’s served in a nice mug. That’s how I like my coffee and if I have time to sip it.
I love the casual feel here, coffee is perfect every single time!

Moved to this area half year ago this is my new go to SB. It can be a bit slow esp in the drive thru but overall great space. I work here some afternoons — it gets busy but there’s always at least a table open. Fairly clean, good wifi.
The parking lot can be a bit crazy — it’s not very big for all the businesses it serves and a bit tight.

I had a fun chat with one of the baristas about the proper way to say my name since Sara with an h and without are actually said different.
It’s pleasant to be at this location because they’re not rushing. They take their time with you and don’t made you feel like just another customer. I like the way the building is laid out, too. There are alcoves where you can completely avoid the entrance and exit doors.

I do not like this Starbucks, for several reasons. I come because it is convenient to where I work, as a caregiver for a young lady who lives locally. First off, they are not nice here. The young lady I work with has disabilities and they totally just ignore her or look down on her. The cashiers and baristas have a snobbish attitude and it is not appreciated, and is generally not the attitude we receive anywhere else we visit in the Highlands. Second, they take forever to make the drinks. We waited about 20 minutes last time we came, and my drink was made wrong. I would have asked them to remake it but their in-​store line was about ten people long, and I assume the drive-​thru was worse. I am positive they could find way better employees to hire, in this economy. I almost told my cashier to quit with his attitude, there’s a reason I don’t tip here. Go to Café Ladro around the corner instead!

It was the first time I ordered at Starbucks through the drive-​thru. The man that helped me was really enthusiastic and very helpful when I asked him questions about the drinks. I chose what he recommended me which was the Passion Tea Lemonade and a tomato and mozzarella panini.
When I got to the window, he flashed a smile and was friendly. When he gave me my drink, he asked me to try it first saying if I didn’t like it he would make me another drink! I really appreciated that.
Overall, service was quick and took me less than 2 minutes to order and get my items!

Maybe this Starbucks should stick to serving alcohol. I ordered a grande java chip frappé with caramel (it’s a guilty pleasure) and not only did it not come with caramel, but there were no chips inside as well. I am disappointed with this drink and now have to rethink life decisions about my guilty pleasures.

Service is terrible. Café Ladro up the street is way better I’m going there next time.

If I could give this Starbucks a «no star rating» that would be better. This Starbucks is so incredibly SLOW and there is no reason for it. Wait wait wait. Go to the other Starbucks at the Safeway across the street. You will get your coffee a lot sooner.

This Starbucks is located in the Issaquah Highlands. They have a in-​store & a drive thru. I went to the drive thru to get a Strawberry Acai Refresher. I felt like this Starbucks was really slow on their service times. The drink was really good, but next time, I think I’ll go to my usual Starbucks down the hill on E Lake Samm. Pkwy.

I was shocked to see that this location has such bad ratings as this is probably my favorite location to go to! It’s also convenient for me because I live close by. Every time that I come here the baristas are extremely nice and and the line goes super fast. The inside is spacious and cozy. The views outside are great if you ever decide to sit out there!
The only reason I give this location four stars is because every once in a while my drink gets messed up or does not taste good at all. I feel like I run into that issue at any Starbucks though, not just this location.
I’m happy that this is the most convenient Starbucks location for me because everyone is very nice, the lines are quick, and the drinks are made well.

Terribly slow service and constantly out of product. I live here but avoid do to lack of service. It does have a nice lobby and nice vibe.

Most of the times service is ok in the drive tru. Why one star? I’m here and the people working are not welcoming they stare at you like why are you here. I have to get out because there are several flies!!! Yuck. i will be calling headquarters. Bleh.

uh. they serve coffee and they serve it with hot milk. employees are above median on the Starbucks scale of happiness. They seem to have long lines and IT issues more often than others. which has resulted in a number of free drinks. The drive through has a long line so it’s nice not the battle with actual traffic to get in line. uh. yeah that’s about it. did I mention they serve coffee?

Rude, snotty, clicquey, incompetent girls (esp. the brunette/​redhead manager on duty) who refused to take my order or payment in the drive-​thru (wanted a ‘traveler’, aka ‘joe to go’, turned in to the drive-​thru accidentally and mistakenly thought I could at least get it started) and then didn’t even start it brewing till I got inside. If it weren’t for the nice guys I dealt with the first two times I’d never come back. One star.

I’ve been to some really good Starbucks, some really bad Starbucks, and some mediocre Starbucks. This one falls in the mediocre status.
The only reason I go to this location is because it’s conveniently located. Parking can sometimes be hit or miss, the line seems to go a lot slower than normal (especially the drive thru), and the staff isn’t the friendliest. They have been better in the past several months but still not quite living up to what I think Starbucks expects in their employees.
Cleanliness is ok. Pretty view of the Issaquah valley. More times than not I hear them tell customers they are out of coffee leaves. Tends to be crowded a lot, making finding a table sometimes difficult.
The main reason I give this place two stars is in the past 6 months or so I have received 3 hot beverages when I ordered cold. I don’t like hot Americanos *not even an ounce* and very very rarely order hot mochas — so I know I didn’t tell them wrong. Two of the times have been with the same employee.
If you are in dire need of a coffee it’s worth a shot but make sure they get your order right and expect longer wait times than most normal Starbucks.

The view, oh, the view from this Starbucks is amazing at sunset time. The bathrooms overflow, the baristas are young and inexperienced, the wireless can be sketchy as it’s always crowded but I drive up for the view at least once a week. If it wasn’t for the view I would go to Café Ladro nearby for great coffee.
They have decent outdoor seating, perfect when I want to take my dog. Lots of families and teens at this suburban location. They also have a drive-​thru.

My wife and I stop by here for coffee frequently during our walks around the neighborhood. As far as the inside it has very nice furniture and desks with electrical outlets under the table for chargers. I’m sure the students and people who do work at starbucks really appreciate it.
Compare to other starbucks this place can use some work cleaning the floors and tables. There are alot of kids and babies that stop by and can leave a mess. They have plenty of people working but I don’t see any workers coming out of the bar. Alot of chatting between the employees about random things and but not with the customers. For example while I was waiting for my drink the batista was talking about how he hasn’t been here mentally the last 3 hours and only remember a eating chicken on his break. All the batistas aprons need some washing. They don’t have any urgency and work slow. They really need some management change because people of issaquah highlands deserve better service and a clean starbucks!!!
