i would give it 3.5 stars if i could. vintage and unique selection but prices are slightly steeper than comparable places. i think of it as a small red light but more expensive and much less selection though the small store is packed. it doesn’t seem to have a lot of rotation. i was looking for 60’s stuff once and apparently a lot of their pieces get taken by the theater for costumes. most sizes are around a medium. there’s that heavy typical thrift smell here.

A friend of mine recommended that I stop by Doubletake Vintage to find a dress for a 20s-themed party. Both ladies in the store were extremely helpful. They asked me if I wanted something vintage or if I’d prefer something in the style of the 20s that I would also feel comfortable wearing at other events. I had been hoping to find something that I could get more than one use out of, so it was nice that they thought of it without me even asking. They found a number of dresses for me to try, and I ended up finding one I loved though I wasn’t convinced it would really fly at a 20s party. The owner gave me the reasons why she chose it(open back, sleeveless, asymmetric hem, gauzy mesh-over-slip style) and then brought out some books to show me what was in style with dresses, hair styles, shoes, and accessories. She steered me away from a headband and toward Art Deco earrings and necklaces. I didn’t end up buying the jewelry there, but I definitely appreciated the time she spent helping me out. She was very knowledgeable on that time period.

They didn’t have a lot of clothes that fit my search(50’s plus-size), but it’s not their fault there aren’t dozens of plus-size women from the 50’s looking for a great place to unload their old clothes. They’re very friendly and helpful. I’ve got some great hats and jewelry, and I look forward to finding more treasures.

Don’t bother consigning your things here. They are very unfriendly, very picky and policies not user friendly. Avoid at all costs!

Interesting selection, but I’ve been there dozens of times and have yet to find something in my size. I understand that vintage/consignment stuff is a gamble and you have to go often to find something good but I have much better luck with good will. I will still come back here in my never-ending search for 50s clothing but alas, I have not been able to find any great pieces yet.

This store in a WINNER! What a fun little shop, and really nice owner. It is jamm packed with treasures. Some old, some new. I could have spent allot more time in there given I didn’t have my daughter with me. It looks like the perfect place to get your Halloween costumes etc. If you are into vintage clothing, this is the place. Plus… the prices are very fair. I ended up finding a great dress for my daughters dress up collection. The only thing I would say is that I wish they had more children’s clothing. Cause lets face it… she is the one I usually buy for. I will be going back for sure.

I LOVE the wigs! This place is definitely more ‘costumey’ than an everyday consignment/vintage store. Definitely fun to go visit and have a look around. I’m actually going to stop by on Saturday, it’s been awhile so I’m rather excited. Definitely worth it to just stop by and look around!

My husband and I love this store. We find treasures there quite frequently and the shop keepers have a knack for helping find just the right thing. I almost don’t want to let anyone know about this great business!

Wow, I’m really impressed. I called asking if they might have anything for me to wear to a «Roaring 20’s» party, and when I arrived, Connie already had a few things ready for me to try. I came away with an awesome dress and a fabulous idea«You can be Bonnie Parker, from Bonnie and Clyde»(which suits me perfectly). I’m going to go back when I have time to look for normal clothes!

This place is so great. It’s all this vintage stuff but not in a tacky-starchy-polyester-dress-that-some-hipster-wants-to-wear kind of a way. It was kind of like being in a museum, seeing weird stuff from the 60’s like a swim cap with rubber fringe all around it like hair. I got a whole mess of stuff: a crocodile bag, satin heels, a ‘hippie’ dress, etc etc.

This shop is located in the strip mall along with G.I. Joes and Rite Aid. Connie, the owner, usually wearing pajama pants, specializes in individual items of vintage and used contemporary clothing and accessories, plus small furniture and decorative items that are for sale. She also has a limited selection of costume rentals. As you would expect, this is a very popular place for the area’s live theater producers. She also caters to partygoers; everything from«inner self» to disco, and those among us who seek that special look. Connie maintains a great hat selection and all the accessories and will help you complete your look. Connie is also a local political activist and you will always find folks stopping by to chat and get the latest scoop on the«rest of the story» on local current events. This is a must stop for anyone visiting Issaquah.
