Food is usually fast and hot. However, my boyfriend and I got a horrible case of food poisoning here 2 days ago. We switched from another chain restaurant who was having food related issues to Taco Time and still got really sick.

A+ for the food, F– on the customer service which is the reason I will never frequent this place again and also the reason for this review. Will explain below. Me and my husband went here for dinner tonight, and I was looking at the menu and decided I wanted to do the burrito platter, but instead of a crunchy taco I want to do a soft taco. I asked the young girl behind the counter if we could substitute(I was willing to pay additional monies if need be). She said she didn’t know if she could accommodate that request and went back and asked her manager. She came back about 30 seconds later and said«no I’m sorry we can’t do that». I don’t know what it was but it pissed me off something fierce, I ended up completely changing my order, actually if my husband wasn’t with me I probably would’ve turned around and walked out the door. I do not understand what the problem was, it’s not like I wanted to substitute the taco for a complete whole burrito I just wanted to substitute the crunchy taco for a soft taco… Not a big deal! So this taco time can SUCKIT, and they will never get another dime from me. they really need to think about customer service, or at least this shift manager that was on duty tonight at 6:15PM! DOUCHBAG!!!

Since moving to Issaquah almost a year and a half ago, this Taco Time location has been our go-to for quick food,(very often I might add) since we have been in a very long remodel and have gotten into an unfortunate habit of defaulting to easy meals sans cooking frequently. More often than not they leave something small out of our order… mexi fries, hot sauce, churros, sour cream, etc… annoying, but not reason enough to complain or try to remedy. Today they gave me a beef tostado salad instead of the pinto bean one that I ordered and was on my receipt. I bit into it having no idea. I’m vegetarian and haven’t eaten beef in about 25 years! Very upset, I called them to let them know their mistake and the response was incredibly canned and insincere. They flat out said, «We’ll replace it for you». Duh, I would hope that you would replace it considering that’s what I ordered and paid for. After driving 10 minutes back to Taco Time, I explained the situation again and also pointed out that they have screwed up many past orders that I have never complained about. The manager’s response in person again seemed insincere and inconvenienced. He eventually offered a card for a free item. Ultimately I left without a replacement because I’m too disgusted to even eat dinner at this point and I gave their free item card back because it seemed worthless and insulting given how many items they have previously left out of orders that they in theory owe me. I will add that the ladies at the takeout window are always very nice and I realize everyone makes mistakes. The way management handled my complaint is what I have the biggest issue with.

Sorry I come here at least once a week. Fast, fresh food. Can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. Two great locations in Issaquah. The tater tots and ranch — the BOMB! We always order beef soft tacos. Their salsa is good too:)

I love Taco Time and the people who work here are always super friendly and nice! Seriously, way better than other fast good places. Kudos to the owners!

This was the third time they forgot part of my order in the last couple months. The last time it happened, the assistant manager Nicole told me they would mail me a comp card so that I didn’t have to come to the store to get a new order, since I had to work. They did not send it. Today, my boss wanted Mexi Fries, so I went, although I wondered in the drive through whether I would regret it. Sure enough, no Mexi Fries(all I ordered for myself). This time, I went back to the store to pick up my Mexi Fries, since they never mailed the comp card they promised. When I got in the car, I found that the Mexi Fries were cold and falling apart — gross. I had to go back to work, and I didn’t have time to go back and get them to fix it again. So disappointing! Taco Time has delicious food, but avoid this location at all costs. Now I’m still hungry, and I wasted my whole lunch running around.

I have been to many Tacotimes. I even worked at the one in Tukwila off and on for 5 years. I went to this one and ordered a regular chicken taco salad with extra chicken and dressing on the side. They poured a ton of dressing on it and gave me some on the side. The dressing that they gave me on the side had olives in it somehow. Absolute worst Tacotime experience ever!

Salsa from a pump… that’s authentic right? Food is bland, but its quick and they have some gluten free options.

I don’t really care much for typical fast food, but there’s something about Taco Time that has always drawn me in. It doesn’t feel like a typical fast food joint and retains some«real restaurant authenticity» of sorts. I’ve been to a few TT’s across the state and this one in Issaquah is my favorite. The food is always well proportioned, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is cooked right and when you ask for ketchup, they don’t throw 50 packets of it at you, nor do they add a single one. They give you 3 – 4 which is about right. Realistically, I wish I could give this review a 4.5 instead of 4, but it’s just not quite a perfect 5 here. Occasionally, the tots can be a little too greasy, but more often than not, they are fresh, hot and not too heavy on the oils. If you’re in the area and it’s not lunch time, check out Taco Time. I say that because they always have a massive line during lunch time. I doubt it’s the fault of the staff as they always seem to be speedy. I think it’s just that everyone knows it’s tasty and a good lunch!

I like Taco Time. It’s a spot that I go to frequently for lunch. The food is fresh, the crew friendly and it is always clean. It’s hard to beat this place for Mexican fast food. My only gripe with TT is the Coke machine. Yes, it’s cool that it has 101 different assortments or whatever, but it fails on making the right consistency for drinks. Nothing tastes right coming out. Go back to the days of old guys.

I’ve only ever used the drive thru at this Issaquah Taco Time location so I can’t comment on the interior cleanliness or amenities. The drive thru is usually pretty quick and my orders have always been correct, which is a VERY good thing! I usually get a Fish Taco, and although it’s obviously very fresh from top to bottom, at $ 4 I ask myself why I don’t find something else to like. A single soft taco for $ 4 is really absurd when I think about it. It’s good fish(cod? or maybe tilapia?) and the veggies are crunchy(albeit mostly raw cabbage) — the sauce is also pretty darn tasty! But I cringe when I whip out a $ 5 and get only coins back for change, even when I don’t buy a drink! Hubby really likes their taco salads too so I’ve toted home more that a few of those. They’re packed well and hold up nicely during our short drive back to the homestead. The quality is consistent and the staff is friendly. If you’re hankering for a little Mexican food, you could do WAY worse!

I love that this Taco Time has been here since I was a kid. I think I have easily eaten here over a hundred times. I think it must have been here for almost 25 – 30 years. My staple is a number 3 beef, large sized with a diet soda. I love the beef soft taco. Is it ranch or sour cream inside it? Whatever it is, it tastes great. I am hooked on this stuff and now that I live in Arizona I’m jonesing for some every day. Can’t wait for my next trip back to WA state to get some Taco Time.

So moving from California, the first time I tried this place I hated it. Seriously hated it, made fun of it. But over the years it has grown on me. It is not at all Mexican. Like not at all, like ranch dressing and tater-tots. Once I got over wanting it to be Mexican, I liked it. It’s all really fresh, and the meat is great quality. I love their chicken salad, with pico and sour cream. They are fresh, fast and healthy. Currently one of my go-to spots for lunch if I have the baby in the car and she is already asleep and I don’t want to get out and wake her up. One of the best drive-through salads around for this busy mom. Plus after I eat it I feel great, and don’t have those gross fast-food burps that make you worried about the quality of the meat you just ate. With this place I get great fresh food, just don’t expect anything Mexican. :)

I’m going to give this place five stars because I don’t see how it could have been any better! Authentic? Nope! Just fresh, Gringo style food at a reasnoble price. The place was spotless, the booths were clean, the people were friendly and the food was quickly brought out to our table. Restroom was spotless too. Our local Taco Bell is quite the opposite! It shows that management cares!

This Taco Time is fine, pretty middle of the road. Prices are on par with Seattle-area locations. Employees were generally friendly. The whole place, including the bathrooms, was clean. Lots of places to sit. The only issue I saw here is that they accidentally gave part of our order to someone else and we had to wait an extra 5 – 10 minutes for our food to be ready(crispy burritos take longer to cook than other items). This was a good stop on our way back from a hike at Taylor Mountain. My boyfriend and I happily scarfed down our food.

We are talking fresh. They make their own chips! Good location on the main road. They have a drive thru too. As a vegetarian they made a custom taco. Delicious. Clean and spacious, comfy booths. This location is a test store, great chance to try new items. I am a new regular. The salsa is a match for their fresh chips.

5 stars for a fast-food joint — yep — no need to rub your eyes This is the first fast-food place I went to where they brought my meal to the table! That is so awesome! They gave us these red plastic table signs with numbers; you find a seat and place those signs on table near the aisle and the servers would bring the meals to you. That is pretty neat! They had their hands full taking our orders. My colleagues and i were in town and needed a quick bite for lunch and we went in the first fastfood place found. The twelve of us place orders and there were others outside of our group. The staff was ultra speedy; they made sure we had«fast-food» — hee — i had to put that one in =) Fast-food with class =) @ Issaquah location only

I’m a Taco Time wh*re… Whenever I feel the need, the need for speed, I head on over to my bestest friend in the fried world and grub on down… Granted we were in Issaquah when the need kicked in. Thankfully, I saw this TT heading up to the North Bend outlet mall. Granted there is a TT in North Bend, but it was getting a face lift, so we ended up here. That place was clean, the food came out hot and well, I’m still burping meat crisp burritos as I write… yummmmmm…

Aaron wanted to review this one… so here it is: «Delicious quick freshness that you would expect. Reminds me of my travels through central and south Mexico… oh yeah, I have never been. Tater tots always crispy, huge beef taco, and crushed round cubes of ice set this place apart from other food chains. I recommend the beef soft taco deluxe!» Ok, great. Thanks Aaron…
