Got the Stuck on You burger, topped with bacon and a fried egg. Great touch on the fried egg.

I don’t know how I’m going to manage to try all the burgers here while not becoming tremendously fat in the process… Oh well you take the good with the bad right? I was in the mood for a burger last saturday and came here with one of my roommates and we had apparently just missed the dinner rush as there were several cars pulling out of the lot and a gang of people all leaving at the same time. But that was just fine because we were able to order quickly and got our food right away! Roommate just had the regular burger, which he said was very good. I had the Hound Dog Burger(bacon cheeseburger) with the much talked up onion rings. The burger, especially with that special sauce on it, was great, fresh and crisp veggies complementing a perfectly medium cooked patty. The onion rings were definitelty very good, being the battered type which I prefer to the the breadcrumb type. I have to say I like the creativity of the menu and the Elvis themed burger naming. Maybe one thing to consider, being an Elvis themed burger joint, a burger with peanut butter on it. They do one at the Joker thats wierdly good. Just a thought. Also I’m wondering if they’ll offer outside seating in the summer, there’s definitely room for it. I’ll definitely be coming back here, great burgers, but they may have some serious competition coming as I hear Five Guys is opening a location in Issaquah…

Based on the reviews here you think this would be an amazing burger. It’s not… it’s average. We went there because of the Unilocal reviews. The place was empty and we had it to ourselves. The staff was friendly and the burger was good, but nothing to write home about. If you are in the area and want a decent grilled burger with a diner feel(and malts, etc.) then this is a good place. But I’m not going to drive out of my way to go there again.

I drove by this place plenty of times, but I always thought it was closed. It wasn’t until I checked Unilocal that I decided to give it a try. The burgers were good… not In-N-Out(or even close)…but good. I thought the prices were a bit high for what you get, which almost made me rate it a 3, but since I’ll likely be back, I thought I’d go the extra star.

Not bad. Good atmosphere, nice and bright. My burger, fries and drink ran about as much as the same at Fatburger or Red Robin. In my opinion, the burgers aren’t as good as either of those two… but…they have sweet potato fries, so I’m willing to forgive them. Overall, a decent place for lunch. Not worth the drive in and of itself, but if you’re in the area and want to try something a little different, it’s a good bet.

Once again, Issaquah surprises me with another good, local place to eat! I tried the Stuck on You burger, and I’ve come to the conclusiong that fried egg in a hamburger is delicious. Also, the fact that it had crispy bacon didn’t hurt either. =D Onion rings were good and not too greasy. My fiancé had the Rock ‘N Roll burger, and I’m preeeetty sure he liked it based on how fast he devoured it. I like how some of the burgers are named after songs. The place is clean, and the people working are absurdly nice. I’d say give this place a shot. =)

Meaty, juicy and delicious. If you crave burgers then this is the place to be. It’s not gourmet but the burgers are interesting and tasty. What more can you want? I got a spicy jalapeño and pepper jack cheese burger and onion rings. My wife got a Gorgonzola and blue cheese burger with bacon added and fries. Everything was terrific especially the Gorgonzola and blue cheese. There’s nothing more to say except yummy.

Definitely a happy find! I was in the mood for a burger but none of my regular spots were appealing to me today, so we set out to find what everyone else liked in the area, and Rock & Roll Burger quickly bubbled to the top of the list — and with good reason. The building itself is funky and fun, the décor a combination of elvis-kitsch and 50s diner. Clean, not too busy(at 1pm on a weekday), and has comfortable chairs. The food came up nice and fast. I had a pineapple shake, my wife a mango smoothie. Both were really tasty. I liked that the shake was made with real ice cream and wasn’t too sweet, they came out a couple minutes ahead of the meal and it was nice to get a chance to enjoy them on their own. Then the burgers. We both got spicy burgers, my wife had the aneheim chile burger(sorry, don’t remember the elvis-themed name the burger had) with a garden patty. She _really_liked the veggie burger, but felt that they didn’t quite know how to handle the chile(they needed to roast it and peel off the skin) and adored the sweat potato fries. I got the slightly spicier burger with jalapenos and some awe-inspiring onion rings. I was just a tiny bit underwhelmed by the burger, but that can be corrected with my next order. I felt that the meat was a bit thin and outshined by the toppings, so I’m going to go with a double next time, and maybe skip the jalapenos. They have a great menu and we both found ourselves saying«next time, I think I’ll try that», so I guess it’s a winner!

om nom om nom nom! Go there. Be happy. Why? It’s good and I told you to. The R&R sauce is awesome. I have no idea why its empty sometimes. Placement I guess? Its delicious and a must do. Get any fry there. They are good, and totally worth the calories. Like go ahead and do 20 push ups or whatever, cause if you could you would eat a ton. The portions are awesome. Just all around beastly. I’ve loved it since it opened. Lets goo :)

Onion rings are the best that I have had in a very long time. Thick cut, battered(as opposed to the icky«breadcrumb» exterior at some restaurants) and deliciously crispy. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about them. I got the Gorgonzola burger, my Fiancé got one with teriyaki sauce and pineapple. Both were awesome! The meat was delicious and had good char on it, while still being juicy. My only complaint was that there was too much romaine on the burger(easy fix for me). 2 specialty burgers + 1 side of onion rings = $ 15.85. Next time i’m in the area, i’m coming back for more onion rings!

I’d probably give Rock and Roll burger three stars except that the staff here is super super friendly! I went with my friends James and Annie since we are staying nearby and we didn’t wanna go to any chains. Anyhow, it’s a funky little building and seemingly in a random spot, but if you wanna support a nice local business definitely drop by!
Sometimes I can be a serious, I mean serious lazy ass. Especially during my birthday week. *yes, birthday week. My roomie was kind enough to see my need for delivery of food(thank you facebook) and brought me home a burger and fries. Seriously, one of the best burgers I have had in a LONG time. The burger I ordered had roasted Anaheim chiles, with jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. The bun was soft and fresh… and the meat was delicious and cooked to absolute perfection. Everything on that burger worked very well together. The french fries were the yummy red robin type, with a bit of a seasoning on them. There was plenty of them in my order. Roomie got a butterscotch shake and I had a sip. YUM. The next star will be added when I take my actual lazy ass there. And after this burger, I will be going.

There’s two themes going on here. Elvis and salt. I ordered the«Are you lonesome Tonight» burger. Though $ 6.76, it was huge. I’m not sure if it was the ham or the bacon on the burger, or both, but it was like eating a salt lick. If I want a salty burger, I can always schlep over to Lunchbox Lab on Crown Hill for that. And same with the steak fries. Cook, please put a governor on your salt shaker! The chocolate shake was pleasant in flavor, but pretty runny.

I was reluctant to try this place because of all the horrible burger places that people some how write good reviews for.(rhymes with berfy’s, and a famous drive in crap hole with 3 letters) I shouldn’t have waited so long. This place is very good. It’s a clean place and the meat is high quality(not weird gray rubbery crap you get at other places). Give it a try. Cubs win!

I completely agree with Ken’s review below. Part of me doesn’t want to post a wonderful review about this place because I don’t want it to become so popular that I can’t swing in and swing out quickly during my lunch break! I really want it to survive though so if you haven’t tried it and you like good burgers, good fries, shakes, malts, fish and chips, etc… well, what are you waiting for? This place is awesome. By the way, they don’t just have«Fish and Chips», with a question mark around the ‘fish’. They give you the option between cod and halibut. They also have clam and shrimp baskets as well. I keep meaning to try one of their chicken sandwiches but I just can’t tear myself away from that juicy Hound Dog burger. Why is it so good? Besides having a perfectly cooked, seasoned, char-grilled patty, it has Tillamook cheddar, fresh crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion and big slabs of peppercorn bacon. Wow. Oh, and I don’t know what they put in that RnR sauce, but i want the recipe. Ok, don’t tell your friends. I have a really short lunch break so I don’t need the crowds. ;-)

Viva Rock & Roll Burger! One of the best burgers I’ve had in Issaquah so far! Like the previous reviewer mentioned, huge menu, but still no salads as of mid-December. I, too, prefer this place to XXX(which, unfortunately, always seems to disappoint). I had the Hound Dog Burger(including bacon, cheese and Rock & Roll sauce). Very tasty, just the right amount of grease and perfectly done bacon. It was a generously sized burger, and included those nicely done fries for the price. I will definitely be back! Still need to try a shake or a smoothie.

Have you ever seen a cow being born? It just kind of slides out into the hay with a heavy slap before staggering to its feet. Then the mother cow licks off all the amniotic fluid and hay, revealing a fuzzy, cute little baby cow ready to take its first steps. This restaurant has just been born, and is taking it’s first steps. Not tentative mind you, but confident., forward and exploratory. In an area where the only real culinary parallel is the XXX, this is a nice change. The Rock and Roll theme is pervasive, with 20 different burgers named after Elvis songs, as well as sandwiches, fish and chips, desserts, floats and shakes. There is even a specialty salad selection on the giant menu posted above the register, but those were not available yet. This being my first visit, I chose the namesake Rock n Roll burger. To me, the most underrated part of a burger is the bun, and this one is good, but no match for the juicy beef patty that lives between. It’s a fresh tasting grease ball, just the way I like it, complemented with fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, pickles and RR sauce. The fries are cooked thoroughly to a darkened tan, and salted liberally. No limp uncooked Red Robin style fries here. Very good. The location has gone through so many tenants over the years that you would think that the building is haunted. After my first visit here, I believe this particular restaurant has a great chance of survival, and I’ll be pulling for it. The menu is really big, and it will take several visits to figure out if it can pull it off, but I must admit I like the ambition shown here. At this point, I prefer it to the XXX, and we might just have a crosstown burger feud brewing in Issaquah. My scale: 5 of 5 Stars — Would make a special, even long-distance trip to go here, and evangelize its greatness to others 4 of 5 Stars — A go-to option, even if there were other more convenient or less expensive options available 3 of 5 Stars — Inclined to give it another shot, just to see 2 of 5 Stars — Would not go back, once was enough 1 of 5 Stars — Would actively avoid, would recommend against going to others, experience filled with great sadness and regret
