Definitely not the place for acrylics. Not only were some nails noticeably crooked and weren’t the right size, my full set barely lasted a week and a half and started to break very easily.
I’d say no to acrylics here but I will give them props for their mani pedis and shellac/​gel.

Great customer service! The staff does a great job and there’s lots of stations to accommodate clients. My daughter loves her nails and it was a fun experience to go with my little one.

I walked in @ 1140 on a Wednesday and they were quite busy! Made an appt for noon. Was in and out by 1 and had a pedicure & shellac manicure for $ 55.
I wrote this a week ago and am editing my review… my pedicure had no top coat and chipped about 2 days in, and I can usually get away with 3ish weeks on a good pedi. My shellac lifted and peeled off, 8 days after I had it done. Yes it is clean and they have a lot of regulars, I don’t think I will be one of them. There are many, many other nail places w/​a cost similar to here that don’t chip and peel nearly as fast… disappointing.

This is the best nail salon around and the prices are not obscene. I’ve been going to Mimi for years and love her! You definitely need an appointment because this place gets busy and is full of regulars. I keep it simple with a traditional mani/​pedi but I always walk out with perfectly cut cuticles and soft feet.

One of the better nail salons, despite the low English language skills. I went for a mani-​pedi which I enjoyed… Huynh was polite; she’ll get better with more ESL, as time goes forward. Mimi helped interpret.
Lotsa parking, but making an appointment in advance is advisable… they are popular!
All in all, a good experience and affordable!
Returning is in my future ;)

I needed a gel polish and they got me in within the hour. Polish is still great a week later. Le did a great job with minimal conversation: just the way I like it. Price was great.
Downside: the chemical smell is crazy strong. These poor ladies need better ventilation.

I never really have a chance to do much for myself so when I found time yesterday, I was pretty excited for a foot massage and pretty toes.
First the lady I got spoke no English so I couldn’t tell her what I wanted and she rounded my nails anyway. The massage was terrible and I thought she was going to yank me out of my seat so fast. It was so fast and rough and not relaxing at all. In the end she left polish all over the tips of my toes.
I also noticed they shared an electric file between me and the last next to me. So gross!
I won’t be returning here but gave them a few stars for being somewhat nice.

I visited Simply Nails for the first time tonight, sorely in need of a gel polish change and manicure. Lena was excellent! The last salon I had gone to had not done a very good job, so she unfortunately had some extra work cut out for her. She is very friendly and knowledgeable — this is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

By far the best nail place. This was Janie’s Nails and they just changed their name, but it’s all the same! I have seen Mimi for almost 15 years, but they are all very good. Recommend getting an appointment, they are busy.
