Cups has been a great stop for me when I come through Jackson, MS. The coffee is great, the baked goods are solid and the atmosphere is wonderful. The live entertainment is a plus, as well. Any good coffee shop has singer-songwriters laying down some tunes and Cups is no exception.

Cups is a great place to study or get lost in a book. They are open late and on Sundays making it a great spot to settle in and get comfy for a long time.

Visiting from out of town, and I heard great things. The coffee is pretty good and reasonable in price. The service was timely and polite. The crowd was eclectic. Loved seeing so many dogs outside! Great place to study, and will be back many times in the coming weeks. One complaint on my visit for today, the music was a little loud. I usually don’t mind and love everything. However, it was loud and angry. Even my volume on max in my earphones, I could hear it. I respect your music choices, but either keep it chill with the music– it’s a coffee shop on Sunday morning, not a bar on Friday night.

I have been a regular Cups supporter for several years. I’m perfectly content to set up shop in a corner and order cup after cup of the coffee. I cannot get enough of the flavored coffees here – and I don’t have to! Their coffee is available to buy by the bag and is totally worth it. Best coffee in Jackson.

Cups in Fondren has a great atmosphere, and the new renovations are a great improvement. It’s really an awesome study spot or place to socialize, because you’re almost always guaranteed to run into a friend(or to quickly become acquaintances with the normal crowd). The baristas are helpful, friendly, and give great customer service. Cups carries a wide selection of coffees and teas, and the packaged coffee for sale is really nice to bring home for your own brewing convenience!(Be sure to ask them to grind the beans if you don’t have a grinder already!) In my opinion, there is definitely a focus on pleasing the general consumer which brings in a diverse crowd and helps Cups to stand out with its welcoming atmosphere. The craft coffee connoisseur may anticipate more of a focus on the science of coffee(which is all well and good– I love craft coffee), but needs not be disappointed with the overall atmosphere and experience of the place. It’s local, people! Nearly everyone has a favorite drink or two. Personally, I like the lattes and frozen blended beverages. They also have a really fabulous MS honey coffee drink that I tried this summer and loved! My favorite thing about Cups is that it’s local, and that they have locations in almost any spot you can think of in the Jackson area making it readily accessible. I would recommend trying Cups over any of the standard chains in the area! And remember to get a cups rewards card!

My coffee place of choice. Love the atmosphere. I frequently came here during college for studying — the coffee here played a large role in keeping me alive and at least partially sane through Comps at Millsaps. I still frequent the place to do a bit of reading or get a little work done outside the home office, or just to hang out with friends and enjoy good coffee.

Cups is one of my favorite hangout spots in Jackson. Whether I’m doing some work on my computer alone, or meeting up with friends, this cute little coffee shop is perfect for either. As of now, they are working on expanding the coffee shop so there will be a lot more room for seating, which can be a problem on a busy Friday afternoon or Sunday morning. They have lots of specialty drinks with cute names like Blondie or Brunette and traditional espresso drinks. You won’t find a *cough cough* «corporate coffee caramel macchiato here(but I’m sure they’d make it for you if you asked!). Sometimes the Internet is funky but if the shop is pretty cleared out, you shouldn’t have a problem. One of my favorite things on a hot day is the Granita. Not sure what exactly is in it but it’s basically an espresso icee. Oh my gosh yum. It’s probably my favorite on cold days too. They have a variety of baked goods and evens though they aren’t made in-house, they are still delicious. Especially the cranberry biscotti! They also have granola and fruit parfaits but they’re out of view. I would recommend Cups in Fondren to anyone in the area who wants to hangout and grab a coffee!

I’m not a coffee fan, but I accompany my boyfriend and our pups whenever I have nothing else better to do. I usually get their frappuchinos(my favorite being the brunette… although their new Oreo one is pretty delectable as well) or their Italian Cream Soda(strawberry favor) and they are both amazing, especially on a hot summer day. So, if you are not a coffee fan, they have plenty of other delicious options. Also, if you have an Eat JXN card, make sure you show it to the cashier in order to receive a size upgrade without a charge. It is an obvious favorite for locals, as there is always an eclectic variety of customers of all ages and professions. What makes this place even more amazing is that they are very dog friendly(on the patio, that is). Our pups are always spoiled by the workers here – they bring out yummy treats and water for them.

Since moving to Fondren last year, I’ve come here a bunch of times, and I’ve never had a bad experience(minus the Wifi not always working). The employees are always great and you betcha that the coffee is too. The atmosphere is what sets this place apart from others. It has a very welcoming, chill vibe. Personally, I love to get the iced coffee or granita. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite thing about this location is the patio, which they allow dogs on. They will even hook you up with some water and treats for your pup! Use an EatJXN card for a free upsize. Students can get discounts on their daily brews, too.

When I first moved to Jackson three years ago, I think I hung out at Cups in Fondren almost every single day for several weeks. I really love the ambience, the location, and definitely the coffee. The local coffeeshop(Which, fun fact, has more locations in Jackson than Starbucks does! Score!) has tons of tables with mismatched chairs for studying, working, or just chilling. There’s a couple of super comfy sofas too if you’re looking to just hang with a friend while you sip your coffee. The décor is really cute and eclectic, and the layout is spacious enough not to feel crowded or claustrophobic. I love that one of the walls is all windows, so you can see people as they do their shopping at Rainbow or Montgomery Hardware, or watch the traffic zoom by on Old Canton if you’re feeling particularly distracted.(It happens.) The coffee is really good, too. I love their specialty drinks, especially the brunette. I’m a big fan. I’ve always found the staff very friendly. They’re not particularly talkative, but that’s something I usually personally appreciate before I’ve had my coffee, you know? Cups is also an EXCELLENT place to pick up a gift for a friend, especially if you’re looking to get them something that’s very *Jackson.* The vibe inside the shop is quiet and productive. My only gripe is that the internet is pretty unreliable, but this seems to be an issue with nearly every coffeeshop I visit. Pro tip: Visit cups on a Friday for some free espresso!

I enjoyed the ambiance. Very hippie like. For my first time the staff was friendly. I loved that they had another room for lounging(the couch gave it so much laid back feel). I think Starbucks has a run for their money. Especially since there are more cups location in Jackson than Starbucks. Oh and if you ever get a chance, try their banana nut bread. Yummie.

Good, solid college town coffee shop. The tea selection was impressive, and they blended me up a mug of my favorite(chamomile and peppermint) to go with the cookie they gave us for free because it was broken in half. My *only* complaint is that there are only 3 – 4 comfortable chairs in the place. Everything is a hardback upright chair that you can only sit in for 15 – 20 minutes before your poor back needs relief.

I live in Texas and I dream of Cups. We came in at 11 on saturday and the girl though you could tell she was busy, took the time to explain cups philosophy and coffee process so that i knew my order would meet my needs. I got a snickers iced latte with expresso cubes. I will say that i found the cup used to serve the beverage to be a bit odd, but it was so delicious i didn’t care i just wanted more. I went back everyday until the trip was over. It was like cream to a kitty cat.

Their coffee is good. When I want to support a local business this is the first one that comes to mind. I like their regular brewed coffees and their specialty drinks. You can ask for a Cups Card and get rewards from purchases at all Cups Espresso café locations!

This is one of those eclectic coffee shops with an adorable and trendy atmosphere… I wish I could drink that instead of the coffee. As seems to be the main gripe with Cups(reading the other reviews and talking to friends) the espresso is definitely on the burnt side. Getting the iced coffee was delightful though! And finding soy milk in Mississippi was nothing less than a miracle. They also carried some interesting tea blends that were great to warm up my fingers in the chilly weather! Customer service was good but not great. The second day when I bought a gift with my coffee, they rang in the wrong one and had to void and re-ring me up. It was a ten-minute process involving three people. I felt so bad that I almost just overpaid. BUT since their coffee is not on the cheap side and I am not on the wealthy side, I waited it out, despite the frustrated looks of the salespeople and customers behind me. Well, THAT was embarrassing! Honestly though, I LOVED this spot for gifts. The mugs were super cute. I bought one that said, «Coffee, the nectar of gods» for my friend and another travel mug for Justin U. with some great art on the outside. One of my travel buddies bought an artsy shirt, really soft and organic cotton. One gripe though… Cups, please ditch the Styrofoam cups! Not cool for the environment… if you hadn’t heard. Plus you might upset your hipsters! The prices aren’t cheap but Cups brings a unique vibe and cool work environment to Jackson!

I like Cups. I don’t love it, but I really like it. Enough to go there on a regular, okay, a daily basis. The atmosphere is great; their«Shot in the Dark» is refreshing or comforting(depending on if you get it iced or hot). It’s a good place to meet up with others. I think they could improve on their customer service a bit. It’s good, but not excellent. My order has been messed up quite a few times and they were quick to fix it most of the time, but sometimes there’s a twang of attitude. A tinge of attitude, I mean. I tip pretty well, so at least they could be nice. 90% of the time is all I’m asking for.

This is a cute little coffee shop with ample room to read or study. When I went to this coffee shop, I was in dire need of a pick-me-up. The guy at the counter suggested I get a blondie iced latte which is caramel and white chocolate, whole milk, and espresso over ice. It was AWESOME! It wasn’t too sweet or too bitter. Just right. If I’m ever in Jackson again, I’m definitely coming back.

The if onlys start right here!!! If only I lived in Jackson, MS!!! I would see this place everyday!!! I love the atmosphere first thing in the morning, sitting on the little patio drinking one of Jackson’s finest cups of coffee EVER and just watching the world go by. They have a turtle mixture that will blow your mind!!! Anything with a mocha is very good. Would love to see one of these in Memphis!
