We were needing to take our food on the road so we ordered something easy like egg sandwiches and Morning Glory muffins. Oh my goodness! Best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. That egg sandwich was so much more than you think of with a typical sandwich by that name. The muffin was so good also. While we were standing in line to order, we saw many other wonderful meals we’d have loved to have tried if we were staying there to eat. Great patio as well.

DONOTTIPWHENYOUORDER! They ask you to tip when you order, then bring your food out. I tipped 20% as a nice gesture, expecting at least satisfactory service: Unfortunately, they forgot about our order. After walking up to the counter and asking multiple times to no sincerity, the food came out cold. Food was average. And there’s signs everywhere telling you to bus your own table. Don’t tip before your order. This may help this establishment improve their service.

Super slice of Jackson. Perfect little patio area to enjoy a mocha and Americano. Pastries are wonderful. Flowers/plants on each table. Country chic. A great place for a good cup of brew to take in the mountain scenery that surrounds me. Highly recommend and will be back on my next stop through!

This is the cutest café in this little town! Where do I begin? The décor is Chic French country with a vintage flair. Everything in this place is on point, from service, presentation, flavor & quality is top notch! Everything is made from scratch. They even make the marshmallows for the hot chocolates. We ordered the croque Madame, the egg sandwich, the bread pudding French toast, the quinoa granola with almond milk, hot chocolate, cappuccino & café olé, everything was so amazing that we came here to have breakfast the 3 days we stayed at Jackson. Highly recommend.

Great quaint location. The epitome of what a Jackson restaurant location should be. I had the tuna sandwich and several of their deserts(s’more and choco cookie). The tuna was great(large flakes) and it was not heavily burdened with mayo like so many other locations. They made it feel somewhat healthy which is albeit an oxymoron for tuna salad. The servers and staff were extremely nice and accommodating to my girlfriend whom is plagued with allergies and thus makes most meals embarrassingly difficult when ordering, but she did not turn red with shame here. Kudos you lovely bakery.

God damn I love this place, one of my favorite bakery’s Ive been to throughout my travels and a go to spot for me in Jackson. Well thought out interior design and the back deck area is a good place to hang and relax(plenty of cute ladies coming thru Peresphone too!) Everything they make is super good and super awesome, and its hard for me not to get at least 3 pastries everytime I stop in. F*ck yeah Peresphone!

Quaint, modern and cozy. Persephone Café was a great spot to stop in for a quick snack and a bite to eat! My wife ordered a s’more while I had a lemon meringue and an Aperol Spritz; def a great way to chill and relax! Staff was super nice and friendly and there were plenty of seating options!

My husband and I came here almost everyday during our trip to Jackson. I’m wishing Persephone had a location in NYC now! Everything we had here was amazing: I especially loved the strawberry rhubarb crostata, and the sweet potato and brussels sprouts hash. Pastries were very fresh and flaky(especially the croissants), and service was as friendly as it gets. We waited about 10 – 15 minutes for my drink, and the barista apologized for the wait and gave us two free drink tokens! Also highly recommend the BLT as a sandwich option. Not your typical BLT, as the lettuce is actually charred swiss chard(I think?). Anyway, it was delicious. I ordered it twice, and the has three times during my long weekend stay!

Ever met a person that was physically attractive and stylishly put together, but while conversing you discover they are slow and boring? That’s Persephone — a bakery where the farm house décor with entrancing pastries and sweets lures people only to find it slow and boring. Whether it was slow because they are busy or they are busy because they are slow, it took half-an-hour just to get and eat a breakfast bowl. The bowl was a cold cereal-like dish. It didn’t require any cooking, but only the need to cut one ingredient that also didn’t look freshly cut. The bowl was also dry on the palate and needed liquid like milk. Among the pastries, the kouign amann was better than the cinnamon brioche, but they were oddly similar to each other — like they used the same boring pastry dough. The cinnamon brioche was not sure if it wanted to be brioche bread or a cinnamon roll. Ultimately, it was neither and left me confused.

This is the cutest bakery/café! I make it a point to visit Persephone every time I’m in Jackson. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. It’s the perfect place to treat yourself. I indulged in a ham and cheese croissant and a chai latte. The croissant was melt in your mouth delicious and the chai was spicy just how I like it. The staff is very friendly and makes your beverages fast. You must go to Persephone if you are in the area!

Visited this precious bakery. I was not able to sit for a cup of hot chocolate but will do next time. Purchased a cinnamon brioche, oatmeal cookie, and a package of sugar cookies. All were excellent! Will visit again!

This is hands down one of the best bakeries I have ever been to. I was not expecting a gem like this in Jackson, WY, but I am so happy we found it! The pastries are fresh, fluffy, flaky and everything you want them to be. The ham sandwich was delicious and filling. I HIGHLY suggest the Kouign Aman. It was by far the best one I have ever had. We also indulged in a cookie, scones, and cinnamon brioche. Yes, we stopped here twice in our two days in Jackson. That is how wonderful it is!

I didn’t think I would find such fine pastries in a small town in Wyoming! What a pleasant surprise. Like everyone else, I loved the Cinnamon Roll — awesomely buttery, perfect amount of cinnamon sugar, the bottom has caramelized sugar… Just heavenly! Monkey bread was equally as awesome! They also have excellent baguettes, we got a couple and ate it with cheese and prosciutto in our hotel room. We couldn’t get there in time for their lunch service(our flight to Jackson was delayed), but definitely next time.

Perfection in a croissant breakfast sandwich. My flakey, fluffy dream was packed with Gruyère, two fresh eggs, and spinach. Note that this isn’t the menu item to get on a date or business meeting due to the rogue croissant flakes. The décor was subtle and classy. I took pictures so that I can redecorate my house. Every detail was on point. It was very crowded on a weekday, though. The cost of popularity? The staff was friendly and coffee tasty. I appreciate that they don’t use plastic. I walked out satisfied but desperate to return soon. How many croissants can I eat before I get sick?

I like to think of Persephone Bakery as the goddess queen of spring growth and Jackson, WY as her husband/lord of the underworld, Hades. Why do I spend time thinking stupid things like that? Well, I’ll tell you. Because this is the Internet. This ethereal institution – brimming with all things fresh and wonderful – is confined to a little place that most people will never see. From Intelligentsia coffee, to phenomenal baked goods(especially the cookies… what even), to seasonal brunch items featuring fun things like skillets and truffles, all enjoyed leisurely on a stunning and comfortable patio… Persephone is the crème brûlée de la crème. Granted, Jackson isn’t the ancient Greek underworld, but it may as well be for most of the folk I know would love this place(aka everyone in America who isn’t voting for Trump, and maybe even then.)

I went to Persephone Bakery not knowing what to expect. I walked into the quaint bakery and it housed a very fun energy. White marble tables, mixed type of seating and a small counter piled with pasteries to welcome my appetite. Thankfully I got there at an early time, the line formed quite quickly behind me and we were able to snag a table to eat at. I ordered the breakfast sandwich(big enough to split) and the brussel sprouts and potato hash, A MUST! My tip would be to split the sandwich and the hash. It is more than enough to get you full. This place is tiny and loud. It was hard to feel settled because of the traffic and the lack of seating but it is defintinly worth a visit. Persephone Bakery has character and great food! The young ladies at the counter weren’t very friendly but I ignored that and enjoyed the rest of my time!

Persephone: 1, Starbucks: 0 I love local independent coffee shops like Persephone’s and I only go to Starbucks when there is absolutely nothing else available. Small and limited seating inside, but just so effing adorable and with nice staff to complement. Fresh baked goods at Persephone!(FYI: EVERYTHING at Starbucks is shipped frozen, according to employees I know) $ 2.2512oz drip coffee… better than Starbucks $ 2 for tasty peppermint macaroon… which was a bit larger than I’m used to :) It was jam packed on a Saturday morning… pray there is table available.
