Great Harvest Bread

Wow! All I can say is, WOW! Customer service was superb. They offered tastes of their bread/​sweets which were insanely good and ridiculous portions! We were sold on their garlic cheddar cheese bread, though all of their bread was super tasty!
I highly recommend this place! I wish they shipped to California. :)

We liked this place so much that we came back two mornings in a row, which is unusual for us when traveling. Sure, the set up and menu are not the greatest as noted by other reviewers… but the goods are amazing! They really get you with those free samples– the raspberry crumble was so effing good. And the scones? I don’t even like scones– always too dry for me, but here? Amazeballs! The staff was ok, friendly enough. My only complaint was that the first day we loved our breakfast sandwich (has this great herb spread on it) and the second day it had only about half the amount of the spread as the first day– so there seems to be some inconsistencies with how each worker makes it. I thought the coffee was great too. We also ate monkey bread and some other delicious food that is escaping my memory now.

We stopped by here just as we were heading out of town — looked interesting. They were very friendly and generous with samples. We picked up a few things. Most outstanding to me was this fresh granola type cracker concoction super healthy — I bought a box of it — wish I knew what it was called. Excellent snack for our way home back to CA (it didn’t make it). I’ll be back!

First off, classic rock all day. I guess it’s better than country? Second, there are no menus. Only a listing of stuff they have on a TV screen with some prices but nothing that list ingredients or describes the dish so is you want to know, then you must ask one f the cashiers to explain what’s on each sandwich instead of simply placing you order when it’s your turn. By the time I finally asked enough questions to make a decision, I was informed that I must order from the other side of the counter as there are no signs stating that you must, order here, and pay here. At that point, 7 – 10 people walked in and had already begun the arduous process of trying to figure out what they wanted by questioning the cashier. My patients was exhausted at that point and I decided to eat elsewhere and if you value your time and efficiency in a restaurant, well, you will too.

Stopped in on a Tuesday morning at 8:30, and they were out of bread. Not out of a bread, out of all bread.
When I asked, they had not sold out that morning, but had sold out the day before. Okay, it’s 8:30 in the morning and you are a bread baking shop, have some damn bread. No not left over from yesterday bread, some fresh made bread.
It was my mistake to expect fresh baked bread at 8:30 in the morning. If you sell out one day, get your ass out of bed and bake.

Didn’t have a chance to taste their bread but they make really delicious chewy & crispy brownies. If there’s one thing I know, it’s a good brownie :)

We got take-​away lunches and some treats from them. I loved my chicken salad, but my friend’s vege sandwich was just ok. The breads and the baked goods were very good. It’s a good place to stop on the way to Grand Teton. You also get a lot of free samples if you’d like :^).

Fresh bread smell. Ordered two half sandwiches with each a cup of soup and small soda ($ 22). Tasty sandwiche where they customize to your taste by asking what condiments (mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, etc) you want. Bread tasted fresh and soft. Plenty of places to eat in Jackson Hole, WY. Liked the Subway like service and many types of fresh bread.

The restaurant has very nice people but the service and the way you purchase items does not flow very well. Lots of free samples. Bread was dry on my sandwich had cucumber on it instead of pickles. 7.75 for a sandwich is normal for Jackson. Dining table was sticky. Music was much too loud. Cannot say that I would try it again.

They mill their own wheat flour and everything is homemade. Awesome cinnamon bread! Great service and samples!!! A must go when in Jackson.

I’ve eaten here 3 or 4 times. The ham breakfast sandwich I had was quite good. The Cob Sandwich is made with a cream cheese spread that leaves a strange coating in your mouth. Like eating Crisco. The straw that broke the camel’s back… was their BLT. How can you screw up a BLT??? Le’mme tell ya. You make it with the world’s thinest bacon. I mean bacon cut so thin you could read a newspaper thru it. I have no idea how you even cut bacon that thin. It broke into a million pieces and fell on the table as I ate. A potato chip is cut thicker than their bacon. I’m giving up on GHBC. Unless it’s coffee, there are so many higher quality places to get a sandwich — THAT ARE OPEN SUNDAYS!

Great sandwiches! I mean great! Service was unorganized to the point of chaotic. This did not stop me from coming back because the darn sandwich was so good. Next day they were out of coffee lids (huge problem IMHO) and white bread! It is a bakery! Would be 5 star if they could get on their game.

The bakery was awesome. The service was good and the sandwiches were great. I would highly recommend this bakery. The cinnamon bread is so Devine and a must taste.

Bread is great. We bough some and ate it along the way when hiking in the Yellowstone NP.
Sandwich was great also. We liked the bread so much that we came back again after touring the national parks.
Feels like the people working here really liked working here.

As I was travelling through 4 states in 6 days, I was regretfully underwhelmed by the choice of good eats during my trip. Fast food and faux Chinese restaurants made up most of my consumption as I mentally struggled to accept the fact that I was eating truly sh! tty food.
My disappointment towards American food was eventually rescued by a free slice of fresh, warm cinnamon swirl bread at Great Harvest Bread Co. Soft and perfectly glutinous with a sweet smell of cinnamon sugar, this bread is comfort epitomized. I immediately ordered a breakfast panini and a BLT to share with my family. Both sandwiches were beautifully assembled – breakfast panini was a rosemary focaccia (correct me if I’m wrong) sandwiching scrambled eggs, a strip of bacon, and melty cheese; BLT was your classic combination of bacon, lettuce, and tomato in between two slices of your toasted bread of choice (we chose 9 grain, which was delicious.)
Thank you, Great Harvest Bread Co., for instilling a sense of hope in American food during my 6 days of palate-​torture.

What a wonderful bakery and sandwich shop. The owner mills his wheat at 4am each morning as the baking day begins. The results are delicious and the staff is very friendly.
We sampled 6 or 7 kinds of bread and bought sandwiches and baked goodies. You can’t go wrong here. Different breads are baked each day of the week. And my wife loved their cinnamon buns.
If we lived in Jackson Hole, we would definitely return often.

Jackson is a dangerous place. Some mornings it is so cold that you can still die of hypothermia even though you have your winter coat on. It snows and rains in August sometimes and they don’t seem to got a Starbucks in town for me to get some coffee to warm up… but that’s not a problem anymore after I found «Great Harvest». The coffee here is way better than Starbucks and costs a lot less. In my dearest memories, Great Harvest Bread Co is always remembered as somewhat a sanctuary of safety for me. I used this place as a shelter to escape the unbearable cold temperatures, and also a place I could quickly run into when the Moose and Elk chase me through town square.
This particular «Great Harvest Bread Co» get’s their coffee from a place called «Snake River Roasting Co», and that particular roaster knows how to make coffee the right way. It’s my favorite coffee in the world.
When I was a little kid, people in Jackson were generally friendly and had good social skills. In the last few years, many of the cowboys moved out of Jackson and a ton of those artists, hipsters, and «legalize weed» people started moving in. Jackson has now become quite an unfriendly town, so I was very surprised to see how friendly all the workers were being to me at «Great Harvest». The workers here are trained to give superior customer service and they come off as overly friendly and full of energy. I really like this because as I mentioned earlier, friendly service in Jackson has gone the way of the Dodo bird.
The scones here are the best I have ever had. The cookies are over sized and freshly baked. The free bread samples they give are so big that they can qualify as a meal itself.
I miss Jackson more and more everyday. One day if I ever return, «Great Harvest» is the first place I am heading to. The Great Harvest they got here in Las Vegas is practically a Taco Bell and I hate going there.

Super friendly people. They give you a huge chunk of bread, brownie or cookie to taste test.
Got the Cinnamon Burst (most popular as suggested by cashier) bread for $ 6.50
