Absolutely amazing! If you are in In town, do not miss out! I had the Redfish Anna. It was to die for. And the waiter, Ben, he is awesome. Let’s not forget the wine! Best meal I have eaten in a long time! Kudos to the chef!

One of my favorites. Always try to make it here when I’m in town. Parking can be limited and it gets busy about 6 pm so make reservations. Everything on the menu is great. Especially like the flounder and grouper. The veal is tender and worth a try too. Can recall ever having dessert… never enough room!

We came here last night with reservations for 8:30, we saw a few empty tables but the girl for some reason couldn’t sit us right away. We waited for about 10mins and I decided to wait right by the door so she’d see us, and remember that we’re waiting to be seated, which worked! I think she forgot to seat us. We ordered the pork belly, bone-in-ribeye and veal with lobster. Pork belly was cooked just right, but the curry was too sweet and the kimchi was a bit too salty. They’re two very strong flavors going head to head in this small bite dish. Love all the textures though. We ordered the steak medium rare, it was cooked perfectly, but the piece they gave us had too much fat. I’m very particular with the marbling on the ribeye and it was too fatty for me, so I hardly touched it. Steak is good on its own if it’s good quality meat, felt like it could have gone without the sauce on the bottom. Veal is one of my favorite proteins to eat, very tender and lean. My veal was slightly battered, the risotto was amazing but the sauce again was just over powering. I found myself having to wipe some sauce off of my veal everytime I ate a piece. All in all it was an okay experience. The chefs knows what they’re doing, but I feel like they’re ruining the quality of their meats by trying to drown out the natural taste with sauces. Our server was great, wished I had room for dessert, but it was my birthday so we had a cake at home waiting for me.

If you’re looking for a amazing cuisine, a great atmosphere, and an escape from the usual restaurants of the world, go to Walker’s. Reservations are suggestions, the bar serves strong drinks to keep you entertained while waiting, and the beautiful chaos of the kitchen is right there for everyone to see. We had Calamari, the BLT Wedge Salad, Veal & Lobster Kathy, and the Pork Chop. It was easily the best Calamari I’ve ever had, even beating that in San Francisco. If you love a good pork chop, get the pork chop. It’s divine. This is easily the best restaurant in Jackson and stands up to competition in New Orleans and Charleston. Go eat. Enjoy the experience. Top it off with a long nap.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Jackson. They offer a variety of superb dishes, but I think the classic redfish anna is delectable. A few other favorites of mine are the veal, the tamale appetizers, the tuna, and you can’t miss out on sides to share like Yukon gold mash or white truffle risotto. I would seriously go to walkers for the risotto alone. Walker’s offers the perfect place to meet a friend or business acquaintance for lunch! It has been our go to birthday dinner restaurant, and is definitely one of my top recommendations if you are in the mood to «treat yoself.» The desserts are superb, the wine selection is wonderful, and they have an awesome serving staff! If you are a visitor to the area or just a local who has never been– make it a priority to stop here and enjoy!

If you are not a local and especially if you are not a Southerner, your reservation don’t mean a thang, waited 75 minutes for an excellent meal, yes, which pacified us. If armed with time & patience, it’s a worthy choice. Hungry? Forgeddaboutit

Left my reservation for 8:00 at 9:00. It was so crowded and they kept lying and telling me that they were about to seat me. What’s the point in making a reservation if they aren’t going to seat you for over an hour. At least tell me you are running behind. Won’t be going there again. Especially for a special occasion like my anniversary. They called me 15 minutes after I posted this review and got my address to send me a $ 100 gift card to make it up to me. We went on a Thursday night and the service was wonderful. They were quick and our drinks were never empty. Will definitely be returning. Especially after the way they handled our situation. Top notch place!

Despite have a few of my best friends, I will travel back for this restaurant. I did not have high hopes because I am spoiled in NOLA, but this meal was delicious. The restaurant it self is wonderfully fun. Decorated well and brings you back. The staff was professional and knowledgeable of the menu. The simple soft shell crab was the best we have ever had. ever. I will admit I am not easy to please when it comes to this dish as well. We ordered the flounder, the redfish and hanger steak. I have not one complaint to make about anything here.

For all of my visitor friends to Jackson, MS, I put this restaurant on the to-do list. Walkers, both recognized for its food and widely-recognized appearance, is a staple in the town. The staff is fantastic; Nothing else to be said. Recommended: The Redfish Anna, Everything-Crusted Ahi-Tuna, famous crab cakes, and their house-made fruit pies(just like when you were a kid).

An absolute must stop. Great and fast service, great food, and an all around awesome experience! Delicious, well prepared food in a casual setting. My friend and I are roadtripping and stopped in for lunch, definitely worth going out of your way to get to this gem of a place. We will be returning if ever close to the area. We recommend the Fried Green Tomato BLT and the friend chicken.

I am a huge fan of Chef Eric Emerson and his restaurants. If you are looking for good food great service and a good deal you should eat here. I have had two meals and I am in love. The food is better than most in the big city of Houston Tx. The specials are off the chain. EATHERENOW !!!

Second solo stop on my tour of Jackson eats. I continue to be impressed. Fried Green Tomato BLT was a wonderful array of texture and flavor and served at the perfect temperature. Sweet potato fries were definitely good too, but nothing more. Staff was amazing, hence the fifth star. Very friendly, attentive(but not intrusive), and they even got me a water to go.

Had the veal with crab and the wife had the red fish with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were some of the best we have ever eaten. Both were prepared beautifully and the presentation was exquisite. Staff was knowledgable, friendly and professional. Never had to ask for anything they were always one step ahead of our needs. Dessert was equally impressive. We had the crime brûlée and tiramisu and both were incredible. Will definitely go back on our next trip to Jackson. For those lucky people who live in Jackson, I envy you.

Been here twice now with my in-laws. Food is great. Service is pretty good. It was difficult flagging down a hostess to let them know we were there for our reservation. They really pack the tables in, however, which is pretty annoying. Both visits I felt scared to move lest I knock someone or something over. I had the scallops on my first visit and another fish dish this go round and both were phenomenal. Apps were also outstanding(BBQ oysters, tamales, and the soup of the day).

This restaurant, or Local 463, is the best in Jackson. Book it! Fish, steak, and awesome sides. Full bar with specialty cocktails. Lunch or dinner, eat here and you will be in heaven. American-Southern food, and highly rated by locals and visitors! Don’t let the name«Drive-In» fool you, there is nothing Drive-In here… this is an upscale, spendy restaurant that is worth every penny. Highly recommended… get a reservation, and enjoy yourself. Oh and try Local 463 for a bit(not much) more casual meal!
