Jax Food Truck Food Court

I got tired of seeing the same food trucks at Everbank and decided to bite the bullet to check out this court. I don’t know why I waited so long! It’s only a short 10 minute drive from Riverside and I’m glad I’ll be able to check out all the other food trucks that I’ve been missing out on!

I’ve visited pretty infrequently until the last week or so. This place is about 5 minutes from my new office and I couldn’t be happier. There are typically 4 or 5 trucks, many I haven’t had the pleasure of trying until now. The space is open and the added indoor eating area makes for a great time, if you have a large group or the weather is less than friendly. Surprisingly, parking hasn’t been an issue! Great concept.

If you like food trucks this place is for you. The daily lineup of trucks changes by the day. Check out Jaxtruckies on FB and you will know which trucks will be out. The best part is the temperature controlled indoor seating. I dont particularly like sitting in my car to eat like you end up doing sometimes. Or how bout having to chase down those napkins that blew off your table? Not here. Great addition for the food truck scene in Jax! See you there.

Jax Food Truck Food Court is located in the Southside area at 3814 Beach Blvd next to Kuhn’s Flowers. Looks like the owner of the Happy Grilled Cheese food truck has a piece of property in which he converted into a food court after seeing its popularity in other cities. Great idea I must say!
A selection of food trucks line up and there is even indoor seating with air conditioning and wireless internet. There are also tables set up outside. The type of food trucks can vary each week.
The day we visited, the food court had the following food trucks lined up:
Fusion Food Truck — Indian, Thai, Mediterranean
Taco Lu — tacos of course
Danilo’s Lumpia in Wheels — eggrolls
Chunky Tomato — pizza
La Petite Cheri Cupcakery — dessert
I wish this food court is closer to my workplace. I can eat different type of food everyday and even have dessert afterwards if I choose to.
The Jax Food Truck Food Court is open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Great addition to the Jacksonville lunch scene. If you haven’t been yet, go immediately! Food trucks differ every day so follow them on Facebook or Instagram to see who will be there on which day. It’s literally right next to Kuhn’s Flowers on Beach. Every day has at least three trucks. There is even an indoor seating area which is nice during these cold months and will be even nicer during the rainy summer months. Grab your food and then sit inside to eat it! Open Monday — Friday from 11 – 2. I always go around 12:30 — 1:00 and I’ve never had to stand in line or wait. So hurry up and get over there!

This place is super cool. Such a great idea to buy a place and turn it into a food truck court! I have been a few times now and love it. The trucks are always delicious and I love the eating space… I just wish it was closer to my work!

Went for lunch today with my wife. Listen, if you haven’t gotten over here you’re just missing out.
It’s about time that Jacksonville had a convenient place for food trucks to gather. The only problem with the Jax Food Truck Food Court is their limited space for the actual food trucks. They probably can’t fit more than five at a time.
Some of the things I liked include:
1. the property owners being onsite and speaking with my wife and I for a few minutes about their plans and hopes for the place.
2. A climate controlled indoor space to eat your food with friends and family
3. Free WiFi on site.
I believe their hours are 11 – 2, M-​F so it would be awesome if it were open a little longer to accommodate those with a later lunch. But that’s splitting hairs. After speaking with the property owners, it appears the place has been a big hit so far.
How can you be upset with being able to go to one location on a consistent basis and get a rotation of excellent food? This place is a winner and you’ve got to check it out.

I am excited about this new addition to Jacksonville. Plus it’s a positive that it’s right around the corner from my house. So now I have no excuses to go see some of my favorite food trucks. I am happy for Anthony H. for getting this whole thing started. With 4 to 5 food trucks to chose from, seating inside and out, & free WIFI, the Jax Food Court will dray a lot of attention and bring people to an area that needs some small business love. Located next door to Kuhn Flowers, Jax Food Court is located in kind of a dead zone when it come to certain businesses. Hopefully the food court can shine a light on something positive and it will make more businesses come to this area of Beach Blvd.

I will say that it might just be a home run for Anthony Hassan. Now I had to stop in just to see it for myself. Today they had some good new trucks with Von Zipper Mexican Grille, Latin Soul Grille, and Bold City Pops. There was a pretty steady steam of folks for the hours or so that I was there. The weather was perfect I must also add.
