Sweet On You

Carey and Chaz are just amazing, and baking up some delicious treats!
Like a lot of you, I first ran into them at Moonbeam Bash, but didn’t have a chance to snag anything from the table :(I was bummed but super busy, but after talking to them for awhile, they came up with the perfect idea for our little courthouse wedding.
So, after a quick look at some pictures and their menu, I ordered a few red velvet (Adam’s pick) and a few Rocky Road (my pick) jumbo cupcakes for our little itty-​bitty wedding!
They were so sweet to have them ready for me the day before, and we designated a time to pick them up at the Jax Food Truck court. :)
So our wedding day was here, and after the semi «ceremony» and with the rain coming in, we retreated inside, where prosecco and those amazing cupcakes were waiting for us…
The jumbos are definitely big enough to share, but do yourself a favor and get another one anyway… (to share, of course!)
The red velvet was moist and flavorful, and oh, that cream cheese frosting. I’m a sucker for the cream cheese frosting. Not too sweet, just right and the perfect amount too!
The rocky road was amazing though… through the top icing drizzled with goodness, there was an ENTIRE MARSHMALLOW center! Oooey, gooey, and oh so good. (ok, it was hard to share this one…)
Not only were the treats fantastic, but Carey and Chaz are just really awesome people too. Thank you for making our wedding day, oh so sweet!

I am finding it hard to write this review and not drool on my keyboard just thinking about my cupcake!
What can I say? Moist, delicious, and frosting that was as amazing as it was artful. Pretty much everything you expect in a semi-​religious foodie experience. Can’t wait for the next one!

Sooo good!!! The buttercream on their cupcakes and filings is really light and creamy! Not too thick and definitely not chunky, just smooth. Their eclairs are definitely winners. My family always eats them up. The puff pastry is really good. Their filled croissants are really good too. I don’t know how to describe them except just amazingly good. My grandparents, who never go out of their way for sweets, asked me to take them to their truck so they could get their baked sweets. Their cookies are crispy, chewy and soft at the same time! We all love them! Definitely will be going back to their truck and if you haven’t tried them out yet then you’re definitely missing out.

I have seen and heard about this truck but never saw them listed on Jax Truckies. Today they did and they were at the Food Truck court today. I was in the area and thought hey self a truck you haven’t been to yet. Self was all over it and was at the court in no time. The truck is really plain but their desserts aren’t. They do have some of their cupcakes in the window. They have a bakers dozen od cupcakes that look awesome. They also have some cookies, puffs, muffins, and éclairs. Now what fat kid can resist an éclair. I dug in like a starving fool that I am. Did I grab napkins? Heck no, luckily this kid is prepared I have some in the truck. After all most trucks don’t have table settings but some do. I will say that Chaz n Carey do know how to bake and specially stuff their éclairs. This thing was oozing all over the place. The girls are super sweet and were really happy that they made it to Unilocal.They were trying to figure it out. So out came the soon to be famous Food Truck Stalker Mark B. and now they are on Unilocal.Good desserts girls.
