This place is not great. I initially wanted to order an Asiago bagel with sausage, cheese, and egg. No. Not possible. All sandwiches are pre-made, and they appear to be just sitting in the window? Ew. So I then changed my mind to just a bagel with cream cheese. I felt they had been sitting in the window for a bit, so I had him toast them. They were just ok. Also, rude and slow service.

Just don’t. You can’t be that hungry that you need to eat here. Hockey pucks for bagels, painfully lackadaisical assistane. McDs would be better

This place is notably bad, even for an airport café. It really took forever for anyone working here to come to the counter, despite the fact that it was 9AM(I’d think a pretty busy time for an airport place that serves coffee…). The lemon poppy muffin was kind of terrible and the egg and cheese bagel wasn’t much better. Avoid!

I feel silly saying this since it’s in the airport, but the service is terrible & the food is equally as bad. Ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and the sausage was still refrigerator cold. At least we know the food is stored properly. Skip this place, go somewhere else.

Semi decent bakery in the terminal 4JFK airport. Let me give a quick rundown. 1. bagels are kinda stale, they don’t give you much cream cheese and charge you $ 1.10 for it. 2. hot sandwiches are terrible, skip them if you have to, you better off eating the cardboard. 3. coffee is nasty, get peets next to it or dunkin donuts at the front of the terminal entrance. If this place was outside of airport I wouldn’t be caught dead in it. But given all the alternatives here, its a solid 2 star spot.

The attendant was very rude. At 5:05 am when we asked when she would open she said” when the gate goes up”. She can keep her coffee!

5:45 am… lines at every place for coffee in Terminal 4. No line here. I know what that means… like when a packed subway train comes but you see one car that is empty… that can only mean one thing. It must stink! Thankfully that wasn’t the case with Panopolis. It wasn’t dining at Per Se, per se, but it didn’t stink. I had a egg and bacon croissant, which was a bit greasy but filling. It is all pre-made then microwaved. Coffee was fine. For coffee and croissant, $ 10.10, but airports are pricey. Service was very friendly, so that made it nice. One odd thing… you couldn’t get a plain bagel. They had bagels but they already had eggs and bacon and stuff on them, so definitely not targeting the kosher crowd. If you have to catch an early flight and don’t want to stand on line for 20 min at Peet’s Coffee, this is a decent option.

Is the breakfast sandwich bad? I don’t know because they weren’t serving breakfast at 9:20am. No bagels either. They must be on another time zone. Greece maybe.

Meh. Not much here. Just a lot of unhealthy bad food and carb laden muffins, pastries, and assorted unsavory looking sandwiches. What is it with the airports in this country and the overpriced bad food options? Pretty much stuck with this place or the mini-Peet’s coffee right next door that offers even less when trapped in this terminal waiting for a delayed flight and you need caffeine before you kill someone and their crying screaming kid. Large coffee was okay for $ 2.29 but no way was I going to eat any of that crap.

This is probably the worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in the last 25 years. The only positive is that they have cut fruit and cut veggie’s for a healthy alternative option. Find other options before getting to the gate if you can.

This place and the bar next to it are the only places for food and refreshments in Terminal 4 at JFK. It’s a decent stop for food before you board your flight, in my opinion. They have an assortment of pastries, croissants, chocolate croissants, as well as mini pizzas, and sandwiches. If you are looking for the«true New York pizza experience»…this is not it… but if you are starving because you were dumb(like me) and forgot you had to pay for food on Virgin America flights, then this place is pretty clutch for a quick bite and a coffee

This country is the worst when it comes to jacked up, shitty airport food. But sometimes we don’t have a choice but to spend absurd amounts of money for very little… especially at Terminal 4 in JFK, because your only options are Panopolis and another coffee shop place right next to it. My dried up plain croissant and bottle of FIJI water was $ 8 altogether.

Sometimes you are forced to take an early-morning flight which typically results in not too many food options. Terminal 4 usually has some decent food choices before you go through the security checkpoint, however, I’m THAT person that insists on getting through security early. So after having my luggage x-rayed and being fondled(not really) I found myself hungry and wanting some breakfast since it was now 6AM. Panopolis appeared to be the only food choice that was open and actually functioning at that time. I strolled over and ordered a blueberry muffin and grabbed a bottle of water. The muffin was okay, a bit dry, but edible. Of course, it was also overpriced because it’s the airport. The service is really what’s knocking this review down to two stars. 5 people behind the counter, 1 got me my muffin, but she couldn’t ring me up. Apparently she wasn’t allowed to do so. She kept calling to the back to someone else and saying, «You have a customer!». Finally the one person«authorized» to run the register strolled to the counter and rang me up. After she handed me my receipt, she disappeared into the back again. My water was also warm, as were all the other beverages. They had an ice cooler set-up without an ice, and the refrigerated front display case didn’t have any cool air blowing through it. *sigh* Still a decent choice if you’re stuck waiting for your plane bright and early.

We had a WAY too early flight to PR from JFK and so we grabbed breakfast here. I had a breakfast sandwich and my boyfriend had two muffins. The food was fine. Nothing special. Filled me up enough so I wasn’t hungry again until our flight landed. We got coffee from Peets instead because I just assumed that would be superior. It didn’t disappoint.

What is it with these airport places that they can serve you absolute garbage at high prices and expect people to take it? Gross, gross, gross non-food. If you think that stuff is bread, or that microwaved meat is a good idea, then you’ll love it here. Bring food from outside instead and stop supporting these awful airport dumps. Food at the airport should be cheap and delicious. How is it New York has a million great pizza points on every corner, but their airport isn’t filled with them(and the equivalent)? Greed. The airport is more interested in charging these businesses millions for the pleasure of being there. So all we get is Panda Express and dumps like this.

I am seldom angry about food, but I felt the need to post this right away with sandwich in hand waiting at the airport. This is the saddest meat, 2 slices of tomato with a wilted leaf(sandwich) that I’ve ever seen. In fact, I think some of the leftover junk I find in my fridge and throw together for a meal the day before I go grocery shopping looks better. I know that the situation’s dire whenever it gets down to eating at jfk, but seriously. choose other options if you can.

Decent standard sandwiches when you’re stranded at the airport and Panda Express food looks like it’s been sitting there the whole day and then some. Roast Beef sandwich isn’t too bad, especially since they toast it for you. The pastries are okay, but hey, as long as it beats in-flight food, I’m not complaining :)
